had to write a review for these guys. we had a major leak coming into our home from our chimney, so we did a little research and found a few companies that claimed to be able to fix it. ill admit we did go with a cheaper company at first. very next rain we still had a leak. (so frustrating) we called certified fireplace and chimney and talked to erica and i immediately knew this place was different. we tried to get a bid over the phone for some repairs the other companies said we may need and they wouldnt give us a bid based on the other guys report... (spoiler alert.. im glad we listened and agreed to get a free evaluation before we jumped the gun) anyway they sent out their GM reed. he looked the whole thing over and gave me 2 different solutions. both solutions he guarenteed there would not be any water coming in but one held a 4 year warranty and the other was lifetime. we ended up going with the lifetime warranty option only because they are allowing us to make payments at no interest which i thought was pretty epic. (not through a bank or 3rd party either. they just asked what we could afford without putting us out and made it happen) well that was 2 years ago, and we havnet seen a drop of water since. we just had reed out again to see about getting an insert put in and it felt like a visit from a friend. he even remembered my dogs names lol hope this review helps show that they really have something special going on over here. thanks again guys! see you in a couple weeks when our insert comes in! read more

We just bought a Topeka and our realtor had their guy look at our Fireplace & Chimney he gave us a report showing it only needed $100 of course we did it. We tried using it last winter and every time we did the house would fill with smoke or we could not get it to draft at all. So we decided to have a Certified company come and look at it and I'm so happy that we did. Turns out our fireplace was missing its flue!!! the house which was recently remodeled, must've taken out the flu pipe and only connected the flu pipe where you could see from inside the fire box and a section of pipe up at the top of the chimney so it looked like from the outside everything was good. This was incredibly frustrating but Reed walked us through everything and helped us get fixed up. Unfortunately it was more than $100 to fix, but they gotta us fixed up and allowed us to pay over 18 months with no interest. I just wish they were there to do the original inspection! Be careful who your realtor recommends everybody! We purchased our home in 2021, and had an all in one inspection at time of purchase. our inspection said it was fine but had absolutely no details given! we wanted a better inspection and more reassurance. we called CFAC to come and do the fireplace and chimney inspection because that's their speciality. I wasnt able to be home during the inspection, but I felt extremely comfortable having Sam and Reed in my home to perform the needed inspection. After, I got a phone call personally to go over the report and answer any questions I had. I am not on a yearly inspection/cleaning list for them! read more

When we first bought our house Reed came out and did a full cleaning of our gas fireplace. Cleaned the ceramic logs and all the glass. Also gave us some suggestions on how we should use the shutoff value next to the pilot instead of adjusting the value built into our masonry because if that goes out it's a significant costly fix. Good advice that he definitely didn't need to provide. We have them come out every year and every year it's a good experience. I recommend them! read more
