But it was amazing how difficult it was to find someone to even give us a quote. The chimney is 'Pre-fab', so there's no actual stone or brick, just a flue surrounded by the stack. This is apparently a no-no in the chimney contractor world. Of the 15 companies I contacted, only three gave us a quote. The rest referred us to general contractors (which insurance wasn't allowing). And the ones who did come out wouldn't even quote a full replacement, they suggested we rip the stack off, roof over it and call it a day ($12K to not even have a working fireplace anymore!) Enter the saviors at Sleep Easy Chimney. They were the only company that gave me a quote for an actual rebuild at a reasonable price that insurance could get behind. The construction process was a breeze. Every guy on the crew was great. They were very communicative to any options we had (trim, stone type, stove, etc). They didn't even mind our enormous, spastic dog jumping on them at every opportunity. And we upgraded to a stove that looks amazing. Can't wait for winter so we can break this thing in! With all the rain this season I knew things would continue to worsen and I assumed it was a problem with the flashing. I contacted my insurance agent for a referral and he recommended KC Roofing & Restoration Solutions. This company was more than accommodating and promptly visited Mom's home to review the situation. The hard truth was that the company that had put the existing roof in place had used the incorrect flashing and it had pulled away. The flashing was not meant to be used on masonry. Charles was great to work with and explained what needed to be done with a quick turnaround on the estimate. He answered all my questions and now that the work is completed I am more than happy. During the process today, Charles provided me with photos of the different stages of the work - even found a good match for the existing roofing shingles and used waterproof membrane (like an honest roofer should!) before replacing the shingles and finishing with lead flashing (which is what should have been used previously). Oh, and I also had them replace the chimney "cap" as it was also contributing to the leaking issues. Highly recommend - did not want to have a mold remediation sometime down the road! Great value and peace of mind!

Not reliable at all. When they came and did our gutters they were very aggressive and did not act as if they had removed gutters before. They bent up our brand new drip edge. The owner said it would be hid behind the gutters. We also found lots of screws and the metal braces from the gutters in our yard.

I orderer one from Home Depot on June 15th, it was supposed to be delivered on July2nd, then was put on back order for July 15th, and then I come to figure out they never even shipped my dryer from the manufacturer. So what I did was go buy a new dryer and brought it home. I plugged it in and it started making a very weird noise and come to learn that it wasn't getting enough voltage to the dryer & the breaker was installed incorrectly. 2 guys from Jeremy's shower up around 3:45 and they had everything fixed by 4:05. My dryer now works and all the wiring and breakers are installed correctly. Im a first time home buyer so knowing there are companies out there like Jeremy's who get the job down QUICK and for an affordable price is comforting.
