Near the end of the original pickup window, I was notified they were running late and asked to move the pickup to 3:00-5:00 p.m. While frustrating, I understand delays can happen. At that point, they were essentially asking me to spend another day waiting for a service that had already been delayed twice. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this company because they were not reliable with their scheduling.

I needed local moving help and was having the hardest time finding companies that weren't charging high rates and were available in a short timeframe between Maryland and DC. I found Get It Done through Craigslist and looked them up on Yelp, requested a quote, and within a couple of hours had gotten a response and very reasonable price range. Charles was very responsive and had flexible times 2-3 days out for a local move. He communicated when his truck had an issue causing him to be about an hour late, but it was all fine in my situation since I was moving from a storage unit to a condo where I didn't have to be moved out by a certain time/day. He and his teammate moved my things over to the 26' truck with care and drove it about 30 miles into DC. They carefully parked in the loading dock, loaded the elevator and unloaded things where I wanted them. They even helped fix the legs on my sofa that came loose during cross country transit in a pod. Total time was about 3 hours with transit. Charles even gave me a veterans discount on top of his very reasonable price. Much appreciated! Some of it was waterlogged so it weighed more than it should've (which didn't even occur to me) so I offered to pay more than he'd quoted since he'd make less profit after going to the dump. He refused and stuck to his original quote. Also, I don't know how he managed to fit everything in the back of his truck, but he did, tied it down well and covered it with a tarp so nothing would fly out while driving. He was super clear about taking it to the dump, so I know this stuff won't end up on the side of the road somewhere or dumped in the woods, too many people do that so they don't have to pay the dump fees. He worked quickly and was done loading in about a half hour. At least half of that time was spent rearranging stuff in the back of his truck so it would all fit and could be tied down. I'm holding onto his number! I will definitely use him again! Totally professional, courteous, and hardworking, I have only good things to say! If you need junk removal/construction debris removal, give him a shot, I only wish I'd found him sooner!
