I hired Rob from certified pool service (it's a one man small company) to clean my pool, and initially, things went well. However, I soon noticed the pool wasn't being cleaned properly. Despite my feedback, the owner, Rob, insisted the issues were due to the pool itself, not his service. After replacing pumps unnecessarily and finding no improvement, it became clear the problem was the service. Rob even went on vacation for a month without notifying me, leaving my pool in a terrible state. This has been an incredibly disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this service to anyone. If you're considering supporting this business, please be aware of the numerous negative reviews it has received. I gave them a chance during a busy season, hoping for the best, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Great service for a few years so far. Very responsive to any issues that have come up and the pool looks great all year round.

Blamed our pool system for the pool looking like poo , saying it didn't work well, and they wouldn't be able to maintain it coming only once a week. Terrible communication between them and with us on issues until everything just added up, and our pool walls were getting greener. I had to reach out to them about all the issues, and not until that point did they bring up issues they noticed months prior, but never communicated with us. They make all these promises through ads. I called and it sounded like a teenage boy going through puberty answered the phone pissed off his dad was making him work this summer. I saw their ad and would have gladly hired them on full time for full pool maintenance. Unfortunately I was told that they don't have time for pools like mine so decided to refuse any help. My family runs some of the most successful construction companies in town and if that's the way they handle potential full time full maintenance clients. They won't get far. Eric and Rob are extremely unprofessional. The pictures speak for themselves. Clearly in the past few month no scrubbing has been done and now the summer is around the corner I have a dirty pool. Their solution was to blame me for not cleaning it and said that I need to drain and complete an acid wash at my cost. Ridiculous. This is a two year old pool. They serviced my pool for a month, they had access to my timer, could have set it to run the time they needed it to. They stopped servicing my pool because they expected the pool to run practically all day long. I feel like the shortness of their needs doesn't set up for a successful relationship building with the paying client. I don't like it when people act better than others. They seemed good. But in the end very unhelpful. I'm upset they quit my account because of not setting my timer up for the pool. (From them: Unfortunately we can not maintain a pool if the system is not running for at least 8 hours a day. We appreciate the business but can not service the pool moving forward.) messed up! I had a pool 'guy' for many years and a couple of years ago wrote a stellar review for him and a year later he did a 360 and disappeared. I was left high and dry and had to find someone quick -I was on vacation for 2 weeks and my guy basically disappeared. I found Rob and Eric here on Yelp and decided to give them a try. My pool had nasty green algae thanks to the under-performing previous pool guy and they quickly got that fixed. They show up every week and actually spend time to ensure the pool is clean and the chemicals are balanced. A nice perk is that they have an app that sends an email each week after they are done that tells you what your chemical levels are, what they did to the pool as well as a picture of your pool. Also in that email if there are any problems or anything needs to be done they let you know so there is no guess work. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their pool kept clean and well-balanced. read more

My pool was green and I was using one of the bigger pool service companies in the city. I realized the issue with these bigger pool companies is that the employees spend 10-20 min max at your pool and they don't pay attention to the details. Probably, because your 1 of 100s of pool they have to take care of. So I decided to switch companies I found certified pool service through a door hanger flyer they left on my door. I gave them a call and they said they could come out the next day. They arrived on time and tested the pool water chemistry they explained to us my CYA was high which was causing the chlorine that the other pool company was using to not work properly. They said most pool companies don't test the CYA every visit so they don't notice it getting high until the pool starts turning green. Robert and Eric explained to me how they were going to fix it they charged me a reasonable initial cleaning fee. They came back 3 times that week to make sure the pool was perfect. My pool pool has not turned green since and I'm really happy I switched services. My favorite part about their service is that they show up every week when they are supposed to and I get an email with all the details from their visits , I highly recommend Robert and Eric if your unhappy with your current pool company. read more
