[[HIGHLIGHT]]After a detailed and explicit conversation with the owner about not cleaning the filters on the road (due to HOA rules and the mess it leaves behind for me and my neighbors), they completely disregarded my request and did it anyway.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was not only disrespectful but also a clear violation of our community guidelines--something I made very clear upfront. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On top of that, my spa was clogged for over a month, which I had to constantly bring to their attention.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The clog caused a severe calcium buildup that destroyed the look of my tile. Instead of taking accountability, the owner brushed it off with, "Calcium builds up over time," and said I would need to pay another companymore to remove it. That's not just poor service--it's negligent. I've lived in my home for 7 years and never had buildup like this. My previous pool service would catch early signs and make recommendations before it got out of hand. Big George's took no such proactive care. Now I'm left with a spa that's downright ugly and embarrassing, and frankly, I feel taken advantage of. What was supposed to be regular pool maintenance turned into a costly headache. Zach, Billy, Darren are great; the owner, Adam, is pool-knowledgeable but poor business growth planning brings on new customers at expense of losing old. We were told that his techs were trained and reliable. Due to the customer comments on this web site, we hired this company. 4. Our tech did show up on every one of his assigned days in a nice looking company vehicle. 5. In the SIXTEEN weeks that this company serviced our pool, the chlorine level was ALWAYS under recommended industry levels at or near ZERO and the PH level was always near 8.0 or ABOVE. 6. Four of the 16 weeks we had visable ALGAE. 7. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The promised weekly software report did not report the same items from week to week and did not replicate what we were shown during our interview with the owner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 8. Our pool tech was NOT able to effectively program our Pentair variable speed pump until the FOURTH attempt when the owner had to assist. I've used Big George's Pool Company now for approximately 4-5 months. Darren does a great job maintaining my pool. My ring camera alerted me of movement around my pool. I noticed one of my lounge chairs had been blown into the edge of my pool. Later that day when Darren arrived , he pulled my chair back and from the pool. We tried to maintain our pool initially, but quickly realized we "didn't have time" for it. We decided to hire a company and I am so glad that we chose Big George's! We live in Henderson and the golf course near us was shut down. It was not being maintained and once the wind blew, it picked up all the treated dirt and, in a day, or two our pool was green! Adam arrived and was able to get our water turned around in no time! A few of our neighbors had the same issue and their pool person told them the only option was to drain the pool and start over. Adam went over and saved them from doing that! We have referred a few people to them and have had no issues! They are always there when they say they will be and they are great at communicating!
