I don't enjoy writing a bad review but after more than a month of dealing with things related to the poor experience others should know what they're getting in to. The pool needed the water changed as it had been about 3-4 yrs since it had been drained. We let the pool go and it had gotten murky. I'm not going to pretend like it was an easy job. We were out of town while the work was being done so I didn't meet anyone in person only via text and picture updates. Halfway through the pictures looked good from where it had come from but I was on vacation and I didn't wanna nitpick until the final result was seen in person. When I got home I immediately sent photos and asked questions about a bunch of different areas that were clearly missed during the process. I was assured those were just "wet spots" where the plaster was porous and holding water. I'm not naive but I wanted to give the experts the benefit of the doubt. I was told to fill the pool and once the plasters wet it'll go away... it did not. I contacted them again and they came in person I expressed my concerns about the quality. He touched up the edges but as for the rest of the dark patching throughout the pool the answer I got was that it was a lot of work and some things are going to get missed and that it was far better then when they began. While the latter is true to a degree the former is an excuse for your workers doing a half hearted job. I chose not to argue with him. The cost of the job was never an issue. In fact I told him the price was less than I anticipated. I would have rather paid for more time/labor/supplies for it to look excellent than for the result I got. Half the pool plaster is perfectly back to white and then the other half has tons of patches from areas that were missed with the power washer. The spa was also done poorly. Part of the initial project plan was to also fix the lighting as the GFI switch kept tripping. We initially thought the lights needed replacing but didn't. When inspecting them the tech removed the lights which also removed the silicone backing and was not replaced. When I was told to fill, the spa water permeated through light fixture filling the space between the spa walls and leaking. When I called to tell him he said he couldn't help me passed me off to another company. Maybe it was his tone or how rushed he was but It felt like he didn't want to be bothered by me so that coupled with all the pointing out of things missed. I chose to part ways after that. To get it fixed it was $350 for leak detection which is when it was known that the leak came from the damaged silicone in the conduit line and another $120 for the repair. I was foolish and paid for intial work after he reassured me the dark spots would go away. I should have withheld the $1150 for the total work done until they made everything right. Lesson learned. Had they offered to drain the pool completely, touch up ALL the missed areas, and refund me for the wasted water this could have easily been a 5 star experience. read more

Owner/Operator, David Goldberg was the only pool professional who bothered to actually come to my house to provide a bid to clean my algae riddled pool. He was very honest and thorough in his assessment of what he needed to do to bring my pool back to a sparkling swim-ready pool. He gave me a bid to acid wash my pool and clean the filter. He did not hassle me to sign a maintenance contract. The staff who came to complete the job were friendly, courteous and professional. While they were cleaning, it started raining torrentially. But they just put on rain gear and continued. BTW. They found my sewer drain without a problem! I have already scheduled them to return in September to clean the filter again. David also has given me calls to ensure that the pump is operating correctly. He also gave me info on maintaining the pool to ensure the algae doesn't return. They make expert tailored recommendations and prioritize your pool looking (and functioning) great! We got multiple estimates on maintaining our pool and Las Vegas Pool Bros wasn't the cheapest or most expensive but definitely the best value. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me which is really important to me because there is ALWAYS something that can be improved with a pool. Another thing that is great about them- we moved and still needed the pool maintained and continued to get the same great service. David came out midwinter to look at my pool and was very knowledgeable. We agreed on a price for a weekly service to begin in the spring. Shortly after he called to say the agreed price was to low so we agreed to bi-monthly for the same amount. In the spring I texted him to begin the next week as I was taking the cover off the pool over that weekend. We replied that he was no longer taking new customers in my area of town.
