I have been coming here for my routine service ever since. I have been coming to Holiday Auto Care for a few years now and am really comfortable with the level of service and prices! I am the perfect candidate for any car-related business that wants to rip off a customer; I admittedly do not know much about cars, and it shows. I am guilty of the "call dad to ask if something sounds reasonable or if I am being ripped off, then call the shop back to approve or push back" pattern whenever I get a quote for any form of service. That being said, at Holiday Auto Care, I have never felt ripped off or like my lack of knowledge is being taken advantage of. Paul and his team are always upfront with pricing and are honest in explaining which services are more urgent versus which can wait until the next service appointment. I also really appreciate the emphasis they place on overall vehicle safety. I feel confident in the mechanics here and get a sense of peace of mind since so many of the services come with warranties. Holiday Auto Care also offers a AAA discount on labor, typically has some coupons/specials on their website, and sends out promotions via post cards and emails. The discounts can make a significant difference when applied toward expensive services. The shop is no longer as convenient for me as it was when I first started coming here, but I will continue to come back for the service and fairness!

Going forward, this place will absolutely get my business…read more I drive a pretty heavily modified 2nd gen Tacoma and was recently carrying and pulling a heavy load up the southern grade of Kenosha Pass (during leaf-peeping season. Yes, I'm an idiot). The entire grade was literally stop and go due to the traffic. At each "launch" from stopped, my truck would "shudder". I worried that the combination of over-gross weight and grade might had damaged my torque converter or transmission, each of which are beyond my ability to fix myself. On taking it here (first time), they checked the tranny-fluid and found no debris and that the fluid itself was still clear (not "burnt". They diagnosed the actual issue as a bad hangar bearing and a bad u-joint. I had been fearing the worst (big money'), but......no. Needless to say, I was relieved! At the end of it all, I was (am) incredibly happy with "Cody" at the front desk. He really knew the ins and outs of these trucks (and no doubt the other vehicles they service). I myself am pretty technically savvy about my truck and he spoke to me at that level, never once speaking down or trying to "get one over" on me; just an honest and good guy! I can't recommend this shop highly enough!

I can just text and schedule service. Second, they have loaner cars. They aren't fancy loaners like from a car dealership, but they are clean and they work. Thirdly, they don't talk down to women. I cannot tell you how many places talk down to me, acting like I am too stupid to know anything at all about my car. They are honest and give you a genuine opinion about the repairs they are recommending. You won't feel forced to get repairs you cannot afford, and that may not be 100% necessary. If you have recommended maintenance they will tell you it is recommended, and not make you feel badly if you don't have an extra $500 to drop on something that isn't broken. They are also a small business that remembers their regular customers and treats them well, which is why we keep coming back. Lastly, they are affordable. I have shopped around for many of the larger services that I have needed done, such as timing belt replacement, and Auto Service House has the best price every time. Highly recommend.
