I WOULD GIVE A 0 STAR IF I COULD BUT I had a 4l60e transmission "rebuilt" by them and installed it and it didn't work, pulled it back out and took it up there to have them make it right, they said they "fixed" the pump and I picked it up put it back in the truck shocker it still didn't work, so I had another transmission shop: (Nicholls Performance Transmissions) go through it and they told me that they NEVER replaced anything, it has a broken drum, the bands are messed up and the pump is shot yet again, so I will definitely be going through Nicholls, I would DEFINITELY NEVER RECOMMEND CERTIFIX THEIR SHOP IS TERRIBLE AND UNORGANIZED AND THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER ANYWAY THAN CAN read more

I bought a remanufactured CVT transmission online from Street Smart transmission for a 2015 Honda Civic. Certifix is one of their recommended installers. Street Smart has a 3 year unlimited mileage transferable warranty on their remanufactured transmission. SHADY, LYING AND UNTRUSTWORTHY company! A TRUE STATEMENT!!!I I had a transmission rebuild done after two months of taking it back several times for shifting issues on a new Rebuilt transmission, it was still shifting hard and they told me to drive it that it needed to be broke in. The issue never went away and after several attempts for them to look at it in the shop they told me that my warranty was expired. They refused to honor the warranty and their work. And will be taken to the BBB. Also was going to pay with my card and was going to charge me a huge fee that wasn't told up front and would charge me less by using cash. Do not go there. read more

When I called Carlos he told me that it would be $2200 and he stuck to that price, having not looked at the car himself. He called me multiple times keeping me up to date on the progress. WICKED, SHADY, and DECEITFUL company! Those are facts! I purchased a remanufactured engine from them (if it's really remanufactured) and barely put 10k miles on it before I started to have major engine problems. I have antifreeze in one spark plug. I took it back to certiRIPOFF and they said that my radiator is leaking and that's why I have antifreeze in one spark plug! Really! The spark plugs are covered by a coil pack, there is no way a leak in my radiator can do that! But there is no radiator leaks under my vehicle, there is no radiator fluid anywhere else! Like I said before WICKED plain and simple! They refused to honor the warranty that was paid for! I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT ANYONE AND EVERYONE AVOID THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE SORRY! If s company screws over one customer then they have done it many times before and they will continue to do so no question! So called "ReManufactured" transmission went out in just a couple months. They told me I would have to pay to have transmission removed and disassmbled to determin if the parts they replaced were what caused transmission to go out. IF they deemed it was one of their parts they would cover it under the 1yr warranty. I am a little smart than the average bear, and I know that once the vehicle is there and transmission is in pieces they would then tell me that it was not their fault and I would have to pay the to put it back together. Took the vehicle elsewhere.... the transmission was not a reman as they said it was just and old junkyard transmission. DON'T TRUST THEM!! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! My vehicle was to be completed on May 20th, 2011, and they still have not completed it. They do not call to update, they are trying to avoid me but yet they have my vehicle and I have paid half of the money already for a deposit. I told them that my vehicle would not start and that I needed them to fix it, they told me I needed a new engine. I said that was fine and paid half the deposit for my engine to be replaced with a 6 month warranty, the next week they called to say that they replaced my engine but it was bad so now they are waiting for another engine, I said fine. 1 week later after no contact from them, they stated that something was wrong with the new one also. After another week they told me to come get it and it was fixed. I drove the car a block away and it was running the exact same way as when I gave it to them (like CRAP), so I turned around and took it back where I told them it was unacceptable, so they said they would fix it. Its now July 4 2011 and they still haven't called back, they keep sending my calls to voicemail. The last time I talked to them was one week ago when they said it isn't my engine it is my transmission now (So why would you replace my engine if that isn't what was broken?). So after all this I have figured out that they have no idea how to fix vehicles at this shop, WARNING- DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. They talk like they know what they are doing but when it comes time to perform they are clueless, I wish I never let them touch my vehicle. read more
