My mom and I came here twice to get regular polish pedicures. After the second visit, both of us noticed that some of the polish on our toes had smeared off. We had let our nails dry for 30-45 minutes in the salon and approximately four hours afterwards by running errands in sandals. We remembered from the first time we visited this business that the SAME problem had happened before, but we thought that it was our fault for not letting the polish dry long enough (~30 mins). Noticing that the same problem happened again the second time, we called and asked to speak to the salon manager. We requested a refund for our most recent visit because, in total over 4 visits, we have paid $180 + tip for four separate pedicures which have all been a complete waste of money. We were told that no refunds are offered, including partial refunds, and that our only option was to return for more polish, which is too inconvenient for us due to drive time. Our suspicion is that this nail salon tries to pass off gel polish without the UV light as " regular polish". They told us on the phone that they have consistent problems with their regular polish never drying. Apparently, only the manager, Angie, knows how to correctly apply regular nail polish per our conversation. I do NOT recommend this nail salon. read more

*** UPDATE*** THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE!!!! EVEN WITH AN APPOINTMENT! After loving previous visits, we returned for an appointment for pedicures... we were asked "you don't want your nails done too?" And we said "no thank you!" We were scoffed at and rolled her eyes.... We picked our gel colors while we sat our feet in hot water. 30 minutes past our appointment time we were still in the chairs with no pedicures, one woman came over to my friends chair and asked her if she picked her color and began her pedicure. She then tells my friend the color she chose is too thin and won't be what she wants, and insisted she get a dark peach color which was WAYYY off from what she chose. She didn't offer to let her look at colors again & she just says "WELL DO WHITE THEN". She then proceeds to file my friends toenail completely crooked.... And paints them white.... At this point, i now sat with my feet in cold water. I eventually pulled my feet out of the water bc my friends pedicure was completed before mine even began. It is now 45 minutes past appointment time & my pedicurist finally walks over. She asked "is the water cold?" I said "yes" and she laughed and said sorry. She did not add more hot water to make it bearable for me & throughout the entire process still dipped my feet in that cold water to wash off the scrub, etc. The color I chose was the same color that my friends pedicurist told her was too thin, and I asked my pedicurist if I should be choosing another color since my friend couldn't get that color.., she looked at me crazy and painted my toes with the color we both wanted to begin with... it was in fact not too thin at all? The top of the uv light hit my toenail and made a dent in the top, and when I brought it to her attention and apologized for possibly not having my toes flat, she didn't fix it and rolled her eyes. read more

This is my cousin's preferred salon so we come here when visiting. I came in to get a gel manicure and declined to get any tips or acrylic... if I haven't seen your work with my own eyes (and repeatedly, at that) I'm not trusting you to do them. My tech's name was Vicky and I had to ask her if they sterilized their equipment when she first brought out an emery board that wasn't brand new. She cleaned her tools in front of me and I will say she did a sold job shaping my (very short) natural nails and cleaning up my cuticles. She also made sure to give me 3 coats of color and she did a solid job with painting my nails. Nothing memorable and nothing terrible. read more

Upon arrival I was told to go to chair number nine for a pedicure.... I noticed there was a little water with stuff floating around in there and I asked her (I'm not sure her name but she was a young girl with glasses very thin girl with an attitude ) Is anyone going to wash out the tub? She replied we put plastic in the tub. I said that does not matter. The tub should be washed out. I don't want to put my foot in the tub which things floating around in it and if the plastic should get a hole in it now everything that's in that water is going to be on me so I asked was there any other tubs that she can use and she said they're all the same.... so I refused the service and walked out. There's no way that anyone should be putting their foot in the tub with things floating around from the previous person. I will preface this with the fact that I never get my nails done. I've done this exactly 3 times in my life, but everyone needs to feel pampered once in awhile. I got their mid-priced pedicure. Overall I think they did a good job. For my finger nails I liked that they weren't overly pushy to get me to do something that would cost significantly more. I hate the feel of long nails and I appreciated how great my nails look short. The reason why I took away a star is that I'm not 100% positive that tools are being properly sanitized. I have been here multiple times since they opened but stopped going regularly a couple of years ago when they increased their prices and the quality of the pedicure went down. I went again last week with a friend, waited 45 min for them to start my pedicure and then got the worst pedicure of my life. The technician was in a hurry bc they were busy and massaged my feet and legs for less than a minute. I purchased the modern pedicure but she barely touched my calluses even when I requested she do more. I should've looked closer before I left the salon, but had limited time by this point. When I got home, I found bubbles in the polish, 2 of my toenails were cut lower in the middle with sharp long points on the side, my feet were dry and cracked with calluses, and my big toenail was crooked. I called the salon and spoke to the owner who told me to come back in and they would "fix it" I returned on my next day off and the owner immediately had an attitude with me. When I showed her my feet, she was yelling and demanded that I point out the nail tech that did my pedicure. By then, the entire salon was silent and staring at me. She refused to fix my calluses but agreed to repaint my nails. When the tech got to me, she seemed angry and was rough. She did not fully remove the darker nail polish I had picked for the previous pedicure before applying the light pink color so my nails now look dirty in the edges. One of my nails is even sharper now, and the color she applied has bubbles again. This salon is beautiful, feels clean and Vicki (who I have seen there several times before) is amazing. Unfortunately their customer service and quality of work of some of their nail techs is horrendous. I never received an apology and instead found myself apologizing to them for complaining. I spent $40 +$8 tip for a service I was not provided. Instead I was publicly humiliated and will never return. I strongly advise you to choose a different salon. The worst experience ever. I will never go back. Sophia was the nail tech that I had. She was rude. She rushed through my set. Kept insisting I get medium nails when I told her what I wanted. She wouldn't let me wash my after soaking off my original set. She probably spent 5 mins putting the acrylic powder on and another 5 mins filing and shaping. She was rude when moving my hand the way she needed it to go. This place is the worst. The owner was rushing her staff because they were busy and they wanted to charge me $95.00. I have been going here for awhile now and I always enjoy the service and the outcome. With saying that, my last trip was absolutely disappointing. I went yesterday and prior to that a week before. I picked a color last week and when they did it, i wasn't too sure if it was really the color i picked but i figured it might be a little different on the actual nail. (dip powder) Not even a week after four nails on my left hand started to lift. I had a young girl that looked a little newer maybe so I figured she was still learning. Remembering what color I had last time I showed them and she dipped my four nails on my one hand and finished them up. She even pointed out that it wasn't the same color.. but proceeded to let me get up to leave. I pointed it out at the desk when I asked if they were charging me and the lady proceeded to try and convince me it was the same color and that "it will change after I wash my hands more.." When I first visited I wanted to give this place 5 stars but recent visits have changed my mind. I always make an appointment to have my nails done but for the last few appointments I've made, I had to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated. I understand these places are busy but if you don't honor appointment times, don't offer appointments then. Today I went in for an SNS dip. I called before to see if there was any availability in the early afternoon, and if not what was available on Saturday. They told me to come in around 2 PM. I arrive at 2 PM and only a few customers are present getting pedicures. I ask if it's possible there is time for me to get a pedicure and if not, not a problem. They said yes there would be time. About 10 minutes later, I was seated at a pedicure chair. I turned on the massage function of the chair which by default lasts 15 minutes. I waited for 2 rounds on the massage chair and no one came to do my pedicure or start my manicure. By 2:45 I finally told them I wanted to just have my polish taken off and leave. I did not need to come at 2, I could've come later in the day or even Saturday but was told to come at 2 for an appointment. For walkins and expecting to wait a bit, this place is great. If you're used to making appointments and having those appointments honored, go elsewhere. This place does not respect your time in that regard. This salon takes nails salon in a new direction. They definitely steer themselves away from your traditional nail salon. The interior is beautiful, very clean and bright with crystal chandeliers and lighted ceilings. The staff are very friendly. Sally, the owner makes everyone feel welcomed and as if we're a part of her family. Hospitality is definitely their game. My tech she always make sure I'm comfortable and always ask if everything is ok during my pedicure. One of my favorite things about the salon is you don't see the big eye-sore wall of polish. Once you come in it's a little confusing at first but they explain to you that they have a color pallet to choose. I loved that!!! I recently took my mother to the nail salon for a mother's day manicure and pedicure. When going inside, I noticed the beautiful decor and interior, but the pleasant suprises didn't stop there. The team was not only attentive, but they were very delicate with my mom and her needs. She has certain mobility issues, so the technician ensured my mom was comfortable and relaxed. During her pedicure, the technician was very detailed with every portion of her food, then her manicure was just as technical, she did an excellent job. I went to get my nails done there on September 20, 2019 and got a severe infection that has cost me almost my entire pinky nail and has spread to my ring finger and I am STILL in severe pain from it. I have been to the doctor and tried many different things to help and I can't find anything to make the infection stop. I believe their utensils gave me a staff infection from being unclean. I am 100% positive this nail salon is where the infection came from. I've taken pictures as the infections has spread to document it. Do not go here. I have been wanting to find a new nail salon since I moved here not too long ago. I have done research and have searched the 'net high and low and I came across C'est La Vie. This location is super close to where I live. I walked in and was greeted immediately by the manager at the front desk. The atmosphere was clean, modern, and calming. The manager sat me right away in the pedicure seat and my service started within 5 minutes. As I was sitting in my seat, I observed how sweet and professional the manager was and appreciated her kindness to everyone who walked in her door. The pricing for the services were not bad. $35 for an upgraded pedicure, and $40 for a full set of dip nails. I did want tips, but the gentleman who did my nails suggested that I do the dip until I can grow my own nails since this makes them stronger. Less damaging to the nail essentially. I obliged, but wish I had better shape to my short-ish nails. The do have a lot of color options as well. I will definitely be returning! read more

I ended up trying it again today by bringing my bonus daughter for her birthday and I am reminded yet again why I do not give them my business. I left the salon and automatically noticed that it already looked as if my nails had grown out. Along with this, the tips they put on my nails were supposed to be square, but looked like fans. The second I got gel to see if they did a better job with a gel manicure. My nails looked rigid and were still transparent. I could probably do the same if not better with my own gel kit at home. Two days after the manicure they were peeling off (note that I didn't do much with my hands that could've damaged my nails). In conclusion, don't spend your money here. WORST MANICURE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN! If you are looking for a new nail salon, try another place instead! First, we had to book an appointment online and then when we wanted to change our appt. we were unable to do so. I called and left an appt. early in the day and received no call back so we just kept our later appts and went in as scheduled. When we walked in and told them we had appointments for regular manicures, they REPEATEDLY tried to talk us into gel manicures or dip powder. (This was done by probably 4 different people informing us that our regular manicures would not last and it would take 25 minutes for them to dry) At one point they even had someone come over and show me their clumpy nail polish and that's why they can't do the regular polish. I was just wanting a pale pink/nude color done. Nothing hard or complicated! They finally agreed to do our regular manicures but left my nails uneven, spent maybe 1 minute massaging our hands and were completely done with our manicures in about 10 minutes! Then we found out that they charge $20 for just a plain manicure! The whole experience was not relaxing, not professional and overpriced. read more
