I normally get a pedicure which I enjoy and appreciate, but this time I went in for a manicure & I regret it. The nail technician was nice but my manicure is horrible. I showed up at 6PM (they closed at 7PM). She rushed because she wanted to leave. Left before my nails were dry. My polish is done poorly but it was dark so I didn't notice until I left the building. (I know, I should have looked closer.) My nails are not all the same shape...some squared, some oval - this can be fixed with a nail file. I'm really disappointed. read more

I was extremely rushed through picking my color, to sitting in the chair. I chose a regular pedicure, but she rubbed my legs for 5 minutes today. My pedicure lasted 15 minutes from start to finish. I made an appointment to get my nails done. They were on time and I got sat right away which was great. The guy doing my nails was really friendly. My only complaint is that I told him I liked the shape I already had on my nails which was oval because I hate square. He said ok and then immediately got the clippers and clipped the top round part off of my nails. I didn't know if there was a language barrier or not but I thought maybe he would file it oval after that but it ended up being more square with round edges. No point of letting him know since there was nothing for him to do to fix it but I'll keep that in mind next time. I did like the color! read more

Strange experience as my wife and I always are treated so well here. "Julie" obviously didn't care. I was waiting in the massage chair for my wife to finish her manicure and they asked me to move. I suggested they use the 5 other chairs (it's 9am on a Wednesday) that were free and didn't move. They then asked me to move again so I did.. did I mention the pedicure lasted less than 10 minutes. I thought it was supposed to be a relaxing experience? Then they charged my card and said it didn't go through and needed cash. Luckily I had some so I paid and left. Made a reservation for three people to have manicures. I assumed we'd all be next to each other, that's how it's been at other places. I was wrong and we were put as far from each other as possible. My nail technician did an excellent job and was very friendly. My friend's technician rushed thru and had her coat/purse walking out the door before my friend got up. The third technician cut my other friend's cuticles too far and drew blood. All this was mediocre, but we still wanted to go back for pedicures. Until I saw the transaction on my credit card. I asked for a spa pedicure with regular French white. I told man up front. And I told the lady that waited on me. The lady never asked me for gel. I get the same style everywhere I go. And I said I wanted a "regular spa French pedicure" a few times. At the register they tried to charge me $54 when it should be $33 at this location. They've improved since my last review. I went elsewhere for a couple of years until that neighboring salon went seriously downhill. It's easy to make an appointment here and there are plenty of nail techs available, especially during the week. There might be a bit of a wait if you just walk in. I used to love them, but stopped going there in 2019. I found a phenomenal gal that does an exceptional job at my nails! Sometimes when she's booked I used to go to Oscars for back up plan... but then I stopped. Their service just always got worse and worse...at which point I decided my home painted nails bring me more joy than dealing at crooked nails and horrible paint jobs for $45+! They also started charging a fee if you're using card without warning and with a very small sign up front. They also charge extra to get your cuticles cut. (Can we go back in time when this was all part of the price -- aka part of a manicure) The manager/owner that rides his little Segway needs to organize his salon a little better..(always chaos when checking in or out) And another thing, they used to be nice. But with each time I went there, their customer service went downhill! Majorly! I would feel like I would have to hold my breath when I went in... If I'm not liking something, don't even mention it... because they'll just get hostile over the fact that they're doing a sucky job. And to be honest, most times they wouldn't understand what I want from my nail. I'm not talking language barrier... I'm talking about even shaped nails. Then they focus on that one nail...and mess up on the rest. I've also come to a theory that the technicians have an allotted time for each service. I once reached my 40-45 min mark and technician was almost done but then was rushed to another gal. The only reason this establishment is getting more than 1 star is because of the quality of the nails I get. The services are just fine. HOWEVER the front desk men are the RUDEST people I have ever encountered. They never EVER ask how I'm doing upon arrival nor if my experience went well afterward. They only ask what i am there for, ignore me or roll their eyes (depending on the day) when I request a tech, and tell me how much I owe them at the end. I don't understand how they're the first people to see upon walking in and they assume they shouldn't have the customer service role that they are at the position for. It is always the same two guys. Today, he answered the phone in the middle of telling me how much I owed and then got annoyed and rolled his eyes after I told him twice (because he didn't hear the first time since he answered the phone) that I'd like to use Apple Pay. The young lady that did my pedicure was nice the average nail tech. I'm not from here so I went on a whelm and asked a local where I should go. I got gel on my feet and not even a week later it was peeling and had bubbles under the polish. I don't think that she let the gel cure all the way before reapplying each coat and that was the cause of it peeling so easily. I've come here very often. The last 2 times I've had to go back for them to fix my nails. Lighting in the back by the pedicure area is bad and thus difficult to pick a color. If you don't pick ahead of time then you'll get stuck with mismatched colors and some nail technician who will lie and say they're matching. Jenny, Mary, and Danny are pretty good. I came back a week later because Lee did such a poor job with my dip manicure that the polish fell off. Mai was the technician that said my colors matched when they didn't. Pricey, and I never get told what I'm paying until after the service. But my nails look good to me, both times that I've gotten them done. They're shorter this time and somehow was still charged the same price as long nails. They lasted pretty long, which wasn't bad. No lifting when they grew out. The gray ones are the new set and I don't feel like it was worth the $60 I paid. The gold (first time ever coming) was pretty nice. They always do an amazing job, i have literally never had an issue with my nails chipping, being too thick, etc. i always leave with a natural looking set! John did these, but I walk in every time and have had success with all of the nail techs there. This is acrylic with gel, but i have gotten the dip powder as well and they do a great job. I arrived at 9:15 for a pedicure, was told a 15 min wait. I was seated in a pedicure chair at 9:30 and was not touched for AN HOUR. Could not wait any longer so had to get up and leave. They will try to keep you there by seating you but the real wait is over an hour for service. I will never ever EVER be back. RE: PEDICURE If you want to leave yourself open to a fungus or some other foot problem then this is the place for you! When I went for a pedicure last week I noticed the plastic liner was already in the basin when he filled it with water for me. I wondered if it was a fresh liner or not (I like to see the tech put a new liner in). When the client in the next chair finished her pedicure the water was drained and the same man at the front desk just refilled it with the same liner! There was my answer. The purpose of the tub liner is so that each client has a fresh one so fungus or other foot ailments are not transferred to the next client. This place cuts corners and may look fancy but in reality it's just a factory. The woman, Lee, who did my pedicure did not take the instruments out of a sealed sterilization pouch and when I asked her about it she didn't know the word "sterilize" so I have my doubts. In addition the man at reception, who is also the owner, is very unfriendly especially when I told him I'm a new client. He was this way to each person who came in. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND YOU SHOULD THINK ABOUT THE DISEASES YOU MIGHT GET HERE. P.S. The pedicure wasn't good either.... I do a better one on myself! read more

Really wanted to like this place. I left my Pedicure happy and saying how I would be back, but after an hour it was pretty clear that I wouldn't be. Everyone was extremely nice, they offered refreshments and had amazing massage chairs and a relaxing environment. But they aren't clean. I noticed they lined the foot baths, but that is about it. Nothing that was used on me came out of a sterile bag like I've seen at other salons, but I still paid $25. I'm not sure if my toe is infected, but it is EXTREMELY sore and tender. When I clean it at night, pus comes out (sorry). An hour after my pedicure I noticed the pain, but figured it would be gone the next day, three days later and it is still irritating and in more pain than ever. Also, once my polish dried, I noticed how unevenly it was applied and how it was patchy. I would gladly go back and do a check in on this review if they changed their cleaning standards, but for now, I'm not planning on going back or recommending this place to anyone read more
