As far as malls go it's ok. With the recent construction parking is a nightmare. There's a pretty wide selection of stores. In general though I find the layout of the mall to be stuffy and it could use a little more natural light / windows. read more

Not quite as beautiful and ritzy looking as Yorkdale Mall but its not bad. The layout is a bit confusing. I don't think the mall is designed in typical mall fashion. There seem to be a lot of different branches so its hard to find places using the map - at least it was for me. The location of the mall is great though - it is conveniently located by a Walmart, Home Depot, Costco, Ikea, Mandarin Buffet, Canadian Tire, Chapters, Best Buy, Old Navy, etc, etc... read more

The original hook of Sherway Gardens was that there were small gardens along the walkways of the mall; they've toned that idea down in favour of cramming in more retail kiosks and comfy chairs to help compete with the satellite "power centres" full of big box stores that have cropped up around the mall in recent years. Still, Sherway remains one of the more pleasant malls around, and if you want to get a better feeling for it, visit the second-floor cafeteria, which is under a huge, sunlit tent with hanging plants, and which overlooks some of the stores below. Be careful parking here on busy weekends. There are a number of non-spots that people like to park in around the Sherway lot, and a whole lot of tickets get written up by parking enforcement as a result. read more

I like it because it's a simple layout (figure 8), great shops, does not feel dirty, and still has the cozy feel of a mall without being too commercialized. It's a great place to take parents shopping and not be bombarded with a ton of people. The shop selection is in every range, luxury (Holts, Coach) middle (Artizia, Victoria Secret) and other (Garage, Dynamite etc). I also like that the food court is tucked away upstairs as to not have to walk through the middle of it. Also with ample parking and efficient layout, nothing is ever too far away. read more

This is an average mall with a few higher end stores. Here are a few good and bad points to note.... 1. The mall has some high end stores. However, prepare to be a 60 year old woman in Burberry and Versace before you get service at Le Creuset or Williams Sonoma. The Holt Renfrew store here lacks the ambience to go with its prices. The Bay needs a new look, but does have piles of clothes. 2. The mall has adequate parking outside. The entrances are easily accessible to all patrons. 3. Unless your idea of clean is the area immediately around a Tim Horton's or McDonald's, the mall is not that clean. Outside, the entrances and parking lots are littered with cigarette butts, fast food cups and other debris. The sidewalks are covered in gum scuds. Even in winter, this stuff should be picked up if they want a classy image. Inside there are lots of fountains filled with coins. A couple of these fountains are not running and are covered with a layer of film that looks years in the making. A close look at the floor and you will see dirty mop water in use everywhere. 4. The food court is a bright, airy space. It has a great variety of dining options. 5. The mall does have a respectable variety of shopping options for most budgets. In conclusion, parts of the mall are tired, service is hit-or-miss, and the place could be much cleaner inside and out. read more

As far as malls go, this is a pretty good one. It's super clean, not at all dumpy or under any kind of construction unlike most malls in the GTA. They have all the basic shops; The Gap, Lululemon, etc. that you would find anywhere else, but they also have really nice plants and trees inside the building. Yes. Hmm...this is a hard mall to judge. Previously, parking was impossible to find but with the new expansions and multi-layered parkades, it is fairly easy to find parking. What I like about the new expansion: a) Lots more parking b) The new fancier stores (though I can't afford most of them) c) Lots more seating so you can sit and relax while your significant other/mom/sister/etc. shops. What I don't like: a) There are two small courts at different sides of the mall. One is older and another one is newer. I would prefer if they were grouped together. Maybe it's still in transition, but the new food court seemed to have all the stalls occupied. b) This levels/layers of the mall make things very confusing. For example, The Bay has 3 floors, but you can only gain access to the mall through the first and second floor. Another example is H&M where there is an entrance/exit to the 3rd floor but also goes to the 2nd floor. It's cool, but confusing. c) I don't like the layout of the mall. It's too many corridors and quite easy to get lost. Verdict: It's a good shopping destination, but I feel like you could spend hours in here and get very upset. lol. PS..I hate malls. read more

I love coming to Sherway Gardens. I have 2 kids that I take with me and I never have to worry about where to take them to dine, bathroom breaks, stores, room to play. I've noticed too that the centre space has become a congregation of parents with kids having energy to spare. The children all congregate there and meet new friends to play with, giving parents some time to catch their breath. The stores are good name brands, never cheap-looking, but what I love is the crowd, never boisterous and always calm and polite. There are several comfy chairs scattered throughout the mall. Its location is also close to Toys R Us and Walmart. My only complaint is parking. There doesn't seem to be enough spaces! I do highly recommend this shopping centre and I always go back! read more

This mall is shaped like a big figure-8. It has clearly marked exits and clear sign-age for getting you back to your car. Clocks are not very prevalent so you know the mall designers where only half-asleep during "mall-design-101". The selection of stores ranges from upper-mid to high-tier mall type stores. There are leather seats at all the "landing" areas of the mall. (Think boyfriend/husband retreat) where you can take a load off while your significant-other goes back to that store to try on yet another 2,000,000 pairs of shoes. I was delighted to find both bountiful parking and the absence of vacuous teens, but there was a strangely large number of prams, strollers and babies. I noticed the strangely large female demographic of most of the people shopping in this mall. Most were the mommies pushing around those strollers, but there was also a large number of trophy-wife and aspiring arm-candy type women here. Mind you my perspective is rather skewed. I'm a starving artist with a clothing budget of about $12 per decade, so my work schedule permitted my visit during the week during office hours. That being said, I don't think I would ever set foot in a mall again during the week-end! I found what I wanted. Exits were plentiful. Recently checked out the new expansions. Very reminiscent of Yorkdale mall. Expensive stores, good options since we don't have them near our home. 2 stars are for the clientele. Everyone's got this pretentious look and attitude... Something was really off setting about this. Not sure if it's the neighbourhood... Everyone we encountered was just... Snobby and self absorbed. This review is specifically about the Santa experience. I get that there is a sign up online. I get that others have paid for a spot to take a picture with Santa, and I did not. However, it does not excuse the fact to be courteous and treat people like they exist even though they did not pay $15 for a time to take a picture with Santa. We get there, go up to counter where three people are just talking to one another, no one else there. So I wait a bit for them to finish their conversation until I feel I've waited enough to be served by a "helper". Only to be told, let me serve someone behind you first who has a ticket. Meanwhile, there are like three " helpers", and they help one at a time? So fine, they take the ticket of person behind me. And then they back to their conversation as if I'm not there. There is no one behind me. Then I interrupt then to ask, let's talk about the process. They go on to explain people started signing up and paying $15 since November and we're sold out. Fine, go through the whole explanation. All I want to know is, what is your process or is there a process for those who decide or do not pay. Is there a process? Finally she explains they take anyone else at the end of the session if time permits. Then towards the end of the time slot, still ignored. We go and ask about it and we have to hear through how pictures are taking longer than hoped and they will not have time to take anyone extra. That's fine. Then they go on and say they have to go over the allocated time and they aren't being paid for it. Sherway, pay your Santa and elves, they can only do so much to get the pictures going. So this is a great mall, plenty of parking. Bright and wide lanes to walk. Great shops and plenty of parking. And because of this they get two stars. Otherwise, if it was just a place for kids and taking pictures, it would suck. read more

It's getting increasingly hard to find parking on weekends but this mall is my favorite near the Mississauga area, especially when it comes to shopping for presents. The mall boasts a sprawling array of top brands, and a Pickle Barrel (if you've read my reviews, you know this is one of my go-to chains). And, I'd have to say, Sherway is beautifully architectured! Stores worth mentioning, among others: Apple Store: This one's offers the best service in the area. Forget Square One, come to this one instead. Jewelry stores: Pandora, Swarovski, People's (nicer stuff at this location, I find), and more Pottery Barn! Lego Store! Williams Sonoma! and more: Sephora, Holts, The Bay, The Body Shop, The Face Shop (now, new), American Apparel and even a Forever 21. read more

Love the shops, mall is clean. Love the food options. Great place to shop or even just window shop and people watch. Great restaurants and parking is easy and not usually a problem for me. My go to mall for gifts or browsing. The Keg is my favorite restaurant there. Not sure I feel compelled by their ads that I've started seeing around, especially at the Subway Stations. But nevertheless, it is a great mall and a great place to buy gifts - for yourself or others. Since Erin Mills Town Center was redone, it's ok but I still prefer Sherway. People there are generally nice although I have encountered a few crazed shoppers, especially around the holidays. Still great as a go to mall. I recommend it. read more

I love Sherway. Parking is sometimes (lately) horrendous and I often have to park across the street but I suppose the exercise is good for me. Transit to here isn't ideal though, you can't bus from Brampton (to the best of my knowledge) without heading to Union/Toronto first.. I really like the Lulu in this store, it has a wide selection. I like the Aritzia, Sporting life, Godiva, food court, etc here. It has a lot of stores I like and I noticed there is now a Starbucks attached to the mall (you enter through the outside). I also like looking at things I can't afford at Holt Renfrew. I like this mall a little bit more than Yorkdale (I really like Yorkdale too though) because I find it less congested. read more

Sherway has definitely seen improvements over the years. After lagging behind nearby Square One for a few years, Sherway is definitely starting to shape up. It boasts a selection of high end and luxury shops, as well as more mid-end chains. (From Forever21 all the way to pricey designer brands at Holt's and Sak's.) I'd say about 90% of the stores are women's clothing stores. The newly renovated food court wing is definitely one of the highlights - super high ceilings and overhead windows create a bright and uplifting space. Great selection of food chains as well. H&M and Sporting Life have escalators that take you up to the second floor if you're coming from the southern side. Overall, Sherway is clean and presentable - there are many customer service booths throughout the mall, as well as a service where you can text them for directions. read more

CF Sherway Gardens - Shopping Centers Near Me - Etobicoke, Ontario

For those of you who are under the false impression that Yorkdale mall -- home of the cell phone charm and screaming child -- is the best of its kind in Toronto, then it its time to face facts and a lot of fun. Sherway Gardens is - though it is technically not in Toronto -- the best mall in the city (or GTA that is). It is clean, spacious, well designed, and not that loud. And it offers up all the stores that may entice you to Buffalo (Nike, Abercrombie etc.) -- the armpit of America (excluding of course Victoria's Secret and Target). Sherway Gardens is of course in Etobicoke, so it's like going out of town without actually having to venture into Bush territory. Tip: Boys if your girls want to go shopping take them there, there's lots of leather seating in the hallways. read more

The last time I went to this mall was when Canada Goose had just come out and my friend and I went here because this was the only mall at the time (that we knew of) that had a Sporting Life in it. My has it been a minute! When I came back after x amount of years I was blown away - the upgrades, selection of stores and the food court looks way better than it ever did before and it made me want to come back. Personally my favourite mall. Everything is on the same floor- easy to get to. Store stock is also pretty good. You can park around the entire mall so if you need to quickly run in you can most likely park right outside the store you need to go to. read more

I will commute to this mall, it's that good. Quieter than the local popular malls near me - Fairview, Markville, Promenade, Yorkdale (shoot me), etc but has all the higher end stores we ladies love. My favourite mall in Ontario! I love this mall. I have shopped and worked in this mall in the past. The food court is the best I've seen. The selection is awesome (McDonald's, Tim Hortons, Arby's, Subway, Hero Burger, Cultures etc). The mall staff at the information booth are always very pleasant. With the new construction, the parking is horrendous so I haven't gone as much as I would have liked. I wish they would bring a music\entertainment store in the mall. I really miss HMV and Starstruck Entertainment. Now, if I want a DVD or CD, I have to go across the street to Walmart or Best Buy. read more

Sherway Gardens is a long-time fan favourite of mine. I grew up in Toronto and my parents were from the Lakeshore (Mimico and Alderwood respectively) so I've always had a soft spot for this part of town--a thoroughly working class old-Canadian type part of town. Sherway Gardens is a little piece of glam amidst the post-industrial dreariness that characterizes some parts of southern Etobicoke. Sherway wasn't always this way, I remember a downward trend in the late 1990s after Eaton's left and frumpy Sears took over. Things were bleak. It seems that Sherway has experienced a real renaissance in the last half-decade. This place has it all! A small (but sufficient) Holt Renfrew, a well-stocked Bay, a better-than average Sears, Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, an excellent outpost of Lululemon (with some of the best sales associates I've encountered in the GTA for a Lulu), funky kitchen shops (Le Creuset being a new addition) and Williams-Sonoma, a gigantic Victoria's Secret for all you angel-worshippers, Kiehl's, Sephora, Scotch and Soda, Coach, Michael Kors, LEGO, a comparably massive GAP/GAP Kids, Sporting Life (the best athletics shop in town), and a foot court that makes all other mall food courts look like absolute rubbish (save, perhaps, for the new Urban Eatery at the Eaton Centre but still, that's underground). The food court is situated under a tent-like structure with tall palms trees and birds flying around (hopefully nowhere near the food ;)). The food court has all the staples: a McDonalds, Timmy Ho's, Pizza Nova, Cultures, Hero Burger (my fav!), a Korean joint, Taco Bell, Subway, Thai Express, etc. etc. This mall attracts the 'upper-crust' which is a decidedly good thing. You never feel like you're gonna be swarmed, or walking to your car in the parking lot is risky business. The teen quotient is definitely lower than Eaton Centre, Yorkdale, STC which is FABULOUS. Those tweens make me gag. read more

Oh Sherway, my you have changed! What was once my high school hangout has turned into an almost unrecognizable higher-end shopping mecca, anchored by Hudson's Bay, the new Saks 5th Ave, Holt Renfrew, and Nordstrom opening in fall 2017! There are still plenty of all the "regular" stores mixed in to satisfy all tastes, as well as a new food court with tons of choices. There is lots of room to walk around, comfy couches to lounge, ample parking, and clean bathrooms! For the nursing mamas out there, there are "Mother's Rooms" by the bathrooms in the food court and mall administration with multiple private and comfortable feeding stations, change stations with their own sinks, a microwave, and a family bathroom. The nicest mall breastfeeding area I've ever seen! TTC bus service is available, but not the easiest place to get to compared to other malls. I'll keep on returning to this place when I'm in town - definitely worth the trip out to Etobicoke! read more

We came here twice during our trip and while the layout is a little confusing the mall has a lot of good stores. The food court had everything you could possibly need. The first time we came was on a weekday, around lunchtime and it was pretty slow. The second time was a very crowded Sunday afternoon and I could tell just how popular it was just by how long it took me to find parking. I still managed to find what I needed both trips. read more

Wow what a nice high end mall ..All your fave stuff available here ..very high end store you can imagine and more to come in the next year or so with the high end Nordstroms from the states and a Saks fifth Avenue ! It's tedious to get here by bus, but I come here just to hang out with friends. I usually only buy things at forever21 or dynamite. As everything else is kinda the "unknown high end brand". Food court isn't bad as many say. Lots of options from Korean food to hero burger. The layout is so annoying because everything is just so far and confusing. Only come here if you're willing to walk around for hours. But overall, a must go for the bored toronto shopper that's fed up with eaton and Yorkdale. read more

This restaurant has been for many years our lunch place for my get together with girlfriends. I have been there twice this month and I found that the food it's not as good as it used to be! Waitress was rude and too busy to get us order of fries that never arrived! And the second time last week food was cold and waiter took for ever. I've been going to this mall for decades, but now that they seem to be winding up construction and cleaning up the chaos, its looking great.
