The original price was $1599 when we purchased it and 6 months later we saw it for $2200. They didn't want to sell us the couch and kept pushing it out so they didn't have to sell it to us at a lower cost. We got sick of waiting and went to Ashley Furniture and they guaranteed us within the same week. Thanks Ashley's!

Not everything we bought was in stock, so our order was split into two separate deliveries. Not a problem, as it was at no additional cost to us. Half was supposed to come on 3/15, the other half 3/29. On 3/15, I began preparing for the anticipated delivery by disassembling and removing the furniture that was going to be replaced. Figuring I should at least get an estimated time of arrival, I placed a call. "We have no delivery scheduled for today," I was told, as I directly referenced the receipt from our order. They also showed nothing scheduled for the 3/29 date. My wife placed an additional call and managed to get part of our delivery moved to the afternoon of 3/21. In the EARLY MORNING of 3/21, my dog woke me barking excessively at the delivery truck outside. As this was several hours before they were expected, I had to hurriedly clear out the areas that weren't quite prepared. The delivery people were friendly and helpful, but when I pointed out the piece of furniture we had paid $10 on our order to have hauled away, they said they had no notes about hauling anything away (we actually paid $20 for two pieces to be removed, but the other piece is for the second delivery). They wouldn't take it while at our house, but one of them said he would get a message to their evening truck and it would be picked up that night. They never showed up, never called to say they couldn't make it, never fulfilled the obligation to remove the furniture that we paid to have removed. So at the very least we should be refunded that $10. Our second delivery, the one due for 3/29, is now pushed back to sometime in mid-April. We were never contacted about this change, we had to find out by calling ourselves. So while the sales experience was pleasant, and the furniture we've gotten so far is quality stuff, I cannot give a very high rating because WG&R will only deliver/haul away at their convenience, regardless of what you've paid or what you've been told or what has been printed on your order. It's not likely that we will return. We have bought furniture elsewhere and had better experiences with regards to punctuality/delivery fulfillment, but WG&R lured us in with that great sale. While it was indeed a great deal, we would happily pay non-sale prices for better service and honesty. Heck, if they had simply reached out to us about the date change instead of waiting for us to call several times, this review likely would have been two paragraphs shorter and two stars higher. UPDATE: After receiving a refund on the haul-away fees, plus getting the second delivery date moved up, I am giving an extra star on my rating. This entire ordeal could have been prevented simply with better communication on WG&R's part. 1) Don't allow salespeople to give delivery dates that will not be honored. 2) If a delivery date needs to be pushed back, LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW. We were never contacted about the changes in our deliveries, and didn't find out until WE called the day we were expecting delivery. Even a voicemail would have sufficed, but we got nothing. 3) Communicate with delivery drivers about what they will need to haul away. The no-show from our first delivery was pretty annoying, and ultimately I got rid of the couch on my own. At least for the second delivery there was better communication and they had room in the truck.

Contacted them two days later asking for an exchange for better unit, however was told they have a strict 24 hour return policy not 48. So if I had contacted them on Wednesday they would of taken back for 30% restocking charge, however on Thursday, no go. Now I understand there are rules, but it just seems odd to lose a customer for life over something so trivial as one additional day. Was really hoping I would get used to the chair, however my back would have nothing to do with it. Very sad how little there customer means to them. If you don't like what you purchased, be sure to request a return right away not wait and see if its just because it is stiff not broken in. Rules are rules I guess, oh well will never purchase from them again.

I contacted the store expecting a price adjustment, and at first, they said they would refund the difference. However, they later called back saying they couldn't price match because my purchase included a "free" Solo Stove promotion for spending over $2000. This doesn't make sense--how is it truly a free promotion if they charge more for the furniture in-store than what's available on their own website? It feels misleading. Essentially, the Solo Stove wasn't free--it was bundled into a higher in-store price. Very frustrating and feels like a bait-and-switch. I expected better transparency and customer service from Ashley.
