An unexpected surprise were the vegetarian samosas, which are large Indian dumplings that are mostly appetizers, but are quite addicting once you've tried it. We happened upon Lilly's by looking for 'good restaurants in the Jenkintown area' on Yelp. Ironically, we'd walked by it dozens of times without noticing it, as there are other stores and restaurants in the area. It had several good reviews and since my partner had NEVER had Indian food before (I know it's hard to believe), I felt this was a must try! I knew exactly what we were going to order - the same two dishes I've been having for decades in New York, DC and other Indian restaurants I'd been to....Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Rogan Josh. It complimented the chicken dish perfectly. Both the lamb and the chicken were high quality meats that enabled these dishes to shine! Not to forget the delicious Naan - I took several scoops of both chicken and lamb and put them between a folded piece of Naan! Lilly's is a gem in Jenkintown - I'm glad we found this great Indian restaurant!
