Our recent experience with Jennie Miller and Market Edge Realty was honestly very disappointing…read more My wife and I were seriously considering one of their rental properties and had a few basic concerns -- broken light fixtures, a non-functioning thermostat (which meant we couldn't test the A/C), and an outdated A/C unit that used R-22 refrigerant and was from 1997 (28 years old). Instead of providing helpful answers or taking our concerns seriously, Jennie was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly rude over the phone. She immediately mentioned they had received over 400 texts that day -- seemingly to justify being short with us -- and repeatedly cut me off mid-sentence. When I brought up the high energy costs of running such an old, inefficient A/C system, she brushed it off as "normal," and followed up with, "We've had a lot of traffic for this property, so we're not too worried about getting it rented," which made it clear she had no interest in listening or working with us. The entire interaction left us feeling disrespected and disregarded. We were ready to sign the lease, but her attitude was the reason we ultimately walked away. If you're looking to rent from people who are responsive, respectful, and honest -- you may want to look elsewhere.

I panicked with the 'problems' found on the inspection and helped as things got fixed. All done. I've been settled for a bit now and meant to write this. I viewed the property, loved it, and applied. I was told the listing would be removed which it wasn't. I didn't see this as a big deal since I hadn't signed a lease yet. Fast forward to a week later, I have been completely ghosted. I have constantly had to hound the realtors for responses and updates. I was told yesterday I would be sent a lease to sign, but once again I didn't receive it. I reached out to the woman I was working with as well as her partner today, and still no response. This has been such a disappointing experience, bringing me nearly to tears as I wrote this review. I lost out on other properties waiting and waiting for responses from this company and believing their promises. For this reason, I would caution any prospective renters before applying to any properties managed by Basin.

One of our biggest challenges we faced was the responsibility to sell the family home. We live in Northern Arizona, and our parents home was in the West Valley ( Westbrook Village) Jen Johansen was recommended by our neighbor who knew Jen.
