Dr. Ho is the opposite of that. From the first consult, his approach was conservative and thoughtful. No pressure, ever. He doesn't chase individual spots -- he looks at the whole face: structure, balance, how light and shadow actually work on you. It's more architecture than cosmetics, and as a guy who wanted "better," not "different," that mattered. What sold me was the long-term plan. We didn't try to fix everything in one visit. We worked in phases, letting each step settle before deciding if the next step was even needed. More than once, Dr. Ho told me to leave an area alone because it already looked good. Think about that -- a provider talking himself out of revenue. That's when you know every recommendation is about the outcome, not the invoice. The results: significant, and completely natural. Friends and colleagues tell me I look rested. Refreshed. Not one person has asked if I had anything done. That's the whole game -- you should just look like the best version of yourself, like you finally started sleeping and drinking water. It even netted me a new headshot & profile pic! When I go to med spas, the first thing I look at is the staff, and if they all look overdone, it is a red flag for me. The staff is friendly. After meeting Dr.A, my husband and I liked him. He is like talking to an old friend and is very personable. I could tell he is a cerebral thinker. He didn't overpromise and explained possible outcomes with my unique case. I appreciate the honesty. He was very informative and took his time with me. On the day of surgery, I felt comfortable, and again, his staff is so friendly. The anesthesiologist was so kind, and she even put nutrients in my PIC line. I woke up and felt very alert and had minimal discomfort. My recovery time was short, and I believe the nutrients helped. When I saw my after photo, in surgery, before the swelling kicked in, I couldn't believe it was my body. Dr A is a Michelangelo, A renaissance man! I am so impressed by his skill and artistic eye. I am looking forward to seeing the results as I heal. I am using infrared light to aid in discomfort, swelling, and inflammation, along with supplements and a high-protein chicken bone broth soup, so my discomfort level is minimal. She is as friendly and lovely over the phone as she is in person. What a wonderful first impression to Cosmetic Surgery Associates of Texas! I met with Dr. Natan Yaker and immediately felt at ease with him and knew he was the surgeon for me! We discussed my goals and set about making a plan for surgery. The entire staff is so helpful and kind. Nurse Edna is especially kind and skillful at removing stitches, as is Yeimi. I met with Carrie, the patient coordinator and she was so accommodating. Raquel, the office manager and Vanessa at the front desk round out the incredible staff. The consultation and pre-op appointments were professional and I was excited when my surgery date arrived. Surgery was completed and went as expected. Post-op visits were great and I was very pleased with the results and wondered what took me so long to do this. So no I wouldn't dare get surgery done here and would rather go elsewhere. Other than the lying about the consult fee my biggest issue is below. On March 15 and again on March 21, I made requests for my medical records. My interaction with Jennifer Castro regarding this matter was unsatisfactory. Transcarent, a company utilized by my employer, sought access to my medical records, prompting Jennifer to inquire whether I had granted permission for them to receive the records. Despite confirming my consent, Jennifer expressed her belief that it was unethical for Transcarent to make such requests, citing negative reviews of the company. Despite my insistence, Jennifer refused to release the records to Transcarent, insisting that they could only be sent to me. She requested a signed letter matching the signature on file before releasing them. After waiting for days without receiving the records, I followed up with Jennifer, only to discover that she had sent them to the wrong email address, displaying incompetence on her part. Additionally, her unprofessionalism, including criticism of my choice of surgeon and the quality of her company's services, was unwarranted. Despite her tenure, Jennifer's rude behavior warrants attention and resolution.
