Tyler promptly came out to assess the damage and even though they have lots of work scheduled, Tyler and his crew were willing to fit my repair job in on a day after completing a larger job. I'm sure the crew was tired and hot that late afternoon but, everyone was friendly and polite. They worked hard and did a beautiful repair that blended in perfectly. Tyler showed genuine concern about keeping our costs low and we are very pleased with the great value and workmanship. After a prompt initial visit and estimate, Steve, Hannah and their team weathered multiple revisions, delays, and changes in direction from yours truly over next few months. All of this plus a bunch of custom detail requests on a comparatively small fence job. No grumpiness from them. In fact, Steve handled all this so serenely I thought maybe some of it wasn't registering. Nope: the team perfectly executed every detail I asked for, in nary a day. I kindly agreed, not wanting him to take on a job he couldn't do. Then he called me back and said yes he could do the job he once had doubts about. We agreed on a price and he got to work. In the middle of the job, after he had cut massive holes from my shop wall to install the windows, he called me outside to inform me that he could no longer do the work for the price that he agreed upon. Basically blackmailing me unless I paid him more to finish. I was completely shocked, and having never delt with someone so incompetent and shady. He ended up finishing the work but with terrible quality and detail. Nails and screws stabbing through from both sides of the wall, the worst caulking you've ever seen, he dismantled my electrical and left it stranded everywhere, just a piss poor job all the way around. He showed no remorse for the terrible job stating he wasn't going to make any money from it. I told him that's the contractors responsibility to bid the job properly and if not that's on him. He threw a fit like a child. Never wanted to show me receipts for supplies. I don't think he has very much experience. My guess is his dad does the same kind of work and he thought he would go out and replicate it on his own. He wasn't able to. And hopefully this review will keep something like this from happening to you. After he guaranteed there would be no leaks, the first rain I had leaks everywhere. 0/10 work. It was a 2 day job that I paid 2k in cash for. Never hire this clown. And if you don't believe a word of this review, just look at the pictures from the job.

A second pressure-treated fence post has rotted in my Ergeon fence. Pressure-treated lumber should…read morelast 10 to 15 years, if not longer. As with the first rotted post, which Ergeon replaced while the fence was still under warranty last year, the concrete footing appears not to have been properly sloped to shed water. This post is located in an area that gets wet only when it rains, yet it has still rotted. The problem appears to be a defect in the original installation, exactly like the post approximately eight feet away that Ergeon replaced under warranty. Ergeon's subcontractors may work quickly, but my fence suggests that speed does not translate into quality workmanship. When I contacted Ergeon, I was told the post was outside the warranty period. When I expressed my disappointment that Ergeon would not take responsibility for what appears to be an installation defect, I was then told that Ergeon no longer replaces individual posts and instead replaces entire fence panels. Perhaps that policy is intended to discourage customers from pursuing relatively minor repairs. It certainly seems like a convenient way to turn a defective post into a much larger repair at the customer's expense. I politely declined to pay for an unnecessary full-panel replacement. A few weeks later, I received a message from Juan asking whether I was available between 1 pm and 3 pm on August 5 for an Ergeon representative to address the post. I replied that I was surprised to hear from him after previously being told that Ergeon would replace only the entire panel. I confirmed that I was available and asked for additional information about the work. No response. I followed up again this morning. Still no response. One o'clock came and went. Then three o'clock. No representative arrived, and no one contacted me. Ergeon appears to rely on a seemingly endless supply of new customers rather than supporting the customers it already has. That's a remarkably shortsighted business model. Most residential properties have at least three fenced sides. A customer who hires Ergeon to install one section of fencing could easily return for the remaining sections, provided the company delivers quality work and stands behind it. There's also the matter of referrals. After my fence was installed, a handful of neighbors asked for Ergeon's contact information. I've since told my neighbors that, Ergeon may not be the best choice for a fence installation - based on my experience. I hope this review gives you a healthy warning about Ergeon. It may not affect Ergeon's bottom line, but prospective customers deserve to know how the company handles apparent installation defects, warranty concerns, and scheduled service visits that simply don't happen.

I called Yolo Garage to replace a Viking board that I thought was defective on my driveway gate…read more Fernando did the replacement, but this did not successfully address the issue I was experiencing. He suspected the problem with the motor and not the board and offered to either troubleshoot the new board installation with the manufacturer or install a new motor. I went down a different path and opted to install a completely new system rather than repair the old one. Fernando was happy to accommodate any request that I had and did not want to push me in any particular direction. He was thoughtful and professional, and the quality of his work was superb. He even went out of his way to address issues from the previous installation. We will definitely be using Yolo Garage Door and Fernando for all of our gate and garage door needs-- I highly recommend them!

Our garage door needed to be repaired. We were only able to close it half way. Plus, it was…read moreraining, so we needed to have it repaired a.s.a.p. I called up Yolo Garage, and spoke with Fernando the owner. I told him what was the issue. He immediately, booked an appointment to have a repair person come to our house that same day, to take a look at the garage door, to determine what could be the problem. That afternoon, Javier came over to examine what caused the garage door to stop functioning. In a matter of minutes, he informed me what was the problem, and what needed to be done to fix it, and the total cost to do the repair. I agreed to have him repair it. He quoted me a fair price. Javier said he had all the parts to fix it in about an hour. I was relieved to hear this. After about an hour, the repair had been completed. He explained what the repair entailed, and what he did to repair it. Javier did a fantastic job! The garage door is working perfectly again. I'll definitely, be calling Fernando again, when it's time to perform the one year maintenance, and any other problem that may occur with our garage door. I'm planning in the near future, of replacing ou existing door with a new automatic garage door, that's operated by a Genie. I'll be calling Yolo Garage to have that done.
