From 28th St. facing south-ish. Bike entrance is the door in-between the white facade pillars.

I have a passion for good coffee and bicycling, so the arrival of this new business in the neighborhood is a pleasant surprise. Locals have been watching this excellent building being renovated for quite some time and happy to see it's first occupant setup shop. First visit in was great! A nicely balanced cold brew made with their own cold brew Bean blend. Slightly acidic at the top but without the sweet / Berry finish that is starting to become popular amongst coffee houses. A shout out to the staff for their friendliness and the great information that they shared. The bike desk was not open at the time, but I would not be surprised to find similar personalities manning the shop. I will look forward to seeing what that part of the business is about in a future visit. Things to know: * There is no lot parking available for this business. Street parking only, unless you have ridden your bike in. In that case there are several bike racks out in front of the building, and a "bike lot" (with its own bike entrance) if you'd prefer. * The people entrance is a bit tight for bikes. The bike entrance is highly recommended. * They have a loyalty program if you are a collector of points. * Located just south of Ingersoll Avenue, the shop is a great stop if you are shopping The Shops.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the DSM area! They have a maple cinnamon latte that I get with light sweetness and it is amazing! I keep coming back for it. Really nice employees and a great coffee shop to work from.

Love the coffee and interior ambiance. The espresso is great! I enjoy the seasonal flavors as well. Plenty of tables to sit and work. However, the parking situation is AWFUL. Only 4 spots directly out front (street parking) and then everyone else parks along the main road which is a bit of a hike away. Would not recommend for a meeting or a "quick stop." The awkward parking issue keeps me from coming there. Which is sad because the espresso is wonderful.

Raspberry & White Chocolate - yum!

Scones are second to none. Warm from the oven if you time it right. People are super nice. Feature a breakfast sandwich of the month to change up choices.

Always dine in. Their baristas know their stuff!

Flat white - well done!! Very good choice in DSM. Some solid food and snack items- but hey, I'm here for the espresso drinks!

This place is barely busy whenever I go, making it enjoyable to sip a cup of coffee. They do a nice latte art too when ordering certain drinks and the people taking your order seem cheerful and quick working as well. I enjoy the natural lighting that this place has. Other than coffee, they also offer scones and draft beer if interested. I am looking forward to my stop.

Onyx is one of the best roasters in the country and it's a real commitment for a shop to build around them. The iced drinks come sealed in clear cans, machine-lidded at the bar. It's a genuinely different presentation, it doesn't sweat through, and it holds up if you're walking around with it. I had the cold brew and the matcha -- both clean and not over-sweetened. The space is sharp: marble counter, black cabinetry, warm wood, good light in the morning. Staff were friendly and happy to talk through the menu without being precious about it. Menu runs deep -- signature lattes, four matcha options, their oat milk cold brew latte by the bottle. Easy recommend.

I don't really know. All I do know, is that all four visits were exceptional. They use Onyx Coffee (my favorite) Don't be scared off by the crowds. The line was long and moved quickly. The barista quickly recognized me and remembered my name after my first visit. And the coffee blew my mind. Over our visits we had an espresso, a drip, a Spanish latte, a New Orleans, a Cheerio and the specialty mocha. Loved them all. The space is gorgeous. Bright, clean with lots of big windows for natural light. Minimalist-the coffee speaks for itself. Either go in and form your own opinion or miss out on some of the best coffee and service you'll have.

We saw there were a few table so we decided to try it with the intention to be quick. Boy am I glad we did! Started with the sunrise juice, a carrot juice blend and the homemade strawberry lemonade both were so fresh and delicious. We tried the brown sugar and cinnamon pop tart and that was heaven in my mouth. So much flavor and goodness. I ordered the limoncello French toast and it is a slice of fresh baked lemon bread made into French toast. The flavors were rich and the texture was fluffy. A must try while it's in season. Others got the turkey and avocado Benedict and the pancakes with eggs and bacon. All cooked to perfection. Our server Jess was so nice and we did tip her well for being so last minute, but to our credit we were out of there at 6 mins after closing while everyone was still working to close up. I try to not show up late but this one was so worth it!!

Service is usually stellar and the location is fairly convenient with lots of parking (in the back too!) My only complaint is that my friend I go to the restaurant with who is in a wheelchair due to mobility issues has to park in back and roll all the way around the building. Its fine on a nice day, but sucks if its extra warm or super cold. I know this isnt the fault of the restaurant, but the building owners . The ambiqnce is fine, if its busy it get a little louder than I'd like. Maybe some strategically placed sound dampening tiles? I get the industrial look, but with the concrete floors, its a bit of an echo chandler when itw busy.
