I LOVE a good brunch place. This is a good brunch place. I ordered their biscuits and gravy and their pop'd hearts. I like their idea of making things from scratch. The biscuits and gravy was very yum with a good amount of spice. The eggs and potatoes were nothing out of the ordinary. The pop'd hearts were a very sweet pastry that I shared with my sister. Our server was so so kind. Would love to come back and try more.

Walked in and the place was packed. Was told it would be an hour wait, but I do not think we were even waiting 10 minutes before we were sat down. This restaurant is in the old Crescent Chevrolet building as someone who spent a lot of time here as a kid it was really cool to see what changes have been made. The menu is a lot. Trying to understand how to read the gluten free/vegan menu was slightly disconcerting as well. Also if you cannot eat oats as someone needing to be gluten free do NOT order the gluten free bread. As someone who is also allergic to oats like about 50% of the gluten free community this greatly disappointed me because it majorly cut down on what I could eat off the menu. The sunrise juice was made mostly with carrots. I could barely taste the pineapple or apple. I could not taste the ginger at all. My mom ordered the salsa Verde pork & egg which I will be ordering next time. That was so flavorful and delicious. The gluten free friendly short stack comes with 3 pancakes. And tasted a bit of flour but were very tasty. And I ordered gimme the meats omelet without gravy, cheese, or English muffin. The roasted rosemary potatoes were a little overcooked as well.

Food is great, haven't had any complaints with their menu so far! Service is also pretty fast and friendly. Always-always check in on the app. Weekend brunch is always busy but the app saves a lot of the hassle when trying to get in. I love that they alternate some specials with what's in season however their main menu stays the same. One of my favorite items on their main menu is definitely the west coast omelette!

Wow! I love this sweet spot! Before our road trip back to Chicago, we stopped for an early breakfast. It was so much better than we could have imagined. Located in a small business complex. We walked in to a bright and cheerful room that was so lovely. Kindness messages were all around. Our server was so pleasant and sweet. She was patient and helpful. The menu is so diverse and interesting. I wanted something sweet so I chose the croissant French toast. My friend enjoyed a savory Mexican dish. The were both delicious. The orange juice was fresh squeezed, the latte was tasty and my simple black coffee was rich and balanced perfectly. I wish I lived in Des Moines so I could become a regular at this wonderful restaurant that serves fresh food with kindness.

When we arrived we were told it would be a 25 min wait which was ok for a weekend but after only 2 minutes we were texted that our table was ready. The waitress was great quick at getting our order and even apologized that my juice was taking a few extra minutes which I appreciated. She brought our coffee cake pretty quick and it was amazing. With a nice sauce, it was even served warm so delicious. My eggs Benedict was great with turkey and avocado. My husband got the all meat omelet and loved it as well. The ambiance was a little loud but cozy at the same time. And the bathrooms were very nice with cute country decor. We loved it, and prices were pretty reasonable we will be back for sure.

Great food, bright clean setting. My pork and chili verde had just a little heat but not too much. The rosemary potatoes were diced and tender. Girlfriend had the veggie scramble with a massive buttered English muffin and rosemary potatoes. Filling and very tasty. Really pleasant place. We sat at the bar and the service was a little slow but still a great meal.

I love the local menu. The atmosphere was really nice and they have outdoor seating. Also love that they have a waitlist feature online. My service has always been good.

Such a cozy place to go on a rainy day with family for breakfast! They have plenty of parking, both in front and in the back of the building. Highly recommend to join the Yelp waitlist prior to arriving! On the weekends, the wait can average around 25-45 minutes. The food was great. The tomato soup was soo good! I also got the lemon curd pancakes, which were very lemony, but they didn't provide a side of lemon syrup, which was a bummer. I will say that it was pretty loud. It was difficult to hear what the waitress was saying, as well as our own conversations. Overall, I would definitely visit again!

Yummy breakfast experience, great service, zero complaints! I had the Eggs Benedict. Servings are very generous. Establishment is clean. If I was a local this would be a go-to. My two companions ordered off the 55 plus menu which had quite a few options as well. Only noticeable difference was smaller size and price.

    Chilaquiles

Visited the Des Moines location since it was close to our hotel, but definitely a chain restaurant feel. Had the chilaquiles with the carnitas and the Gimme the Meats scramble as well as a cold brew to drink. Their coffee was delicious, but I also need a little cream in mine! The carnitas were seasoned very well. Really enjoyed the salsa verde and queso fresco in the chilaquiles. Omelet had a very hearty portion of all the meats! Both portions were huge!

Highly recommend this place! Was in town visiting family and was recommended to come here! It truly was so good and I would come back when I'm in town next! It was a little busy but the staff didn't make it feel crazy, they slowed down and answered all questions. It's a cute place with fun decoration, also good spots for larger groups. The food was very good! Everyone loved what they got! I got their tomato soup and probably one of the best I have had!

    Do you take reservations?

They have a join waitlist option on their website. We joined it from home and it was a 35 min wait. We had a 20 min drive and checked in when we got there. We only had to wait 15 more mins.

If I were to go here again, I would probably try a different menu item. The waffle was good, but nothing special. As for the smoothie, it was good. It was pretty strong on the coconut, but good. In terms of food, this place has been a bit of a hit or miss for me. The first time we stopped by, we had smoothies, and they were delicious, creamy, and not too artificially sweet, yummy but still felt healthy at the same time. The second time, we tried their coffee and waffles. The latte was good, and I liked their seasonal flavor options. Unfortunately, the gingerbread waffle we tried was practically inedible, wayyyy too spiced, to the point it tasted medicinal. The pomegranate seeds on top, which looked pretty at first, were actually soft and mushy, clearly not fresh. That said, I'm still willing to come back for another smoothie, because those were really good.
