The tables were OK but the carnival games were a whole other story. These are the times when I wished I could give zero stars or even negative stars. Don't be fooled by the general high rating! I spoke with the representative and he made me think that nothing would have gotten wrong. I was assured by his professional customer service but on the day of the event, everything went awry. The delivery men wouldn't bring our items to the 5th floor, speaking of an elevator fee that we didn't pay. Not once was that fee mentioned and the items came so gut wrentchingly nasty that me being a popcorn lover I don't even want to know whether or not people clean their machines. We had to clean the machines ourselves. At first the box of materials were not left with the rest of the items. When I did find it, I discovered that the box was just a ripped up cardboard box that had the popcorn oil all over it. Hey party rental thanks for not even providing us a full fledged box, you're too cheap to even give us a new cardboard box for our machine supplies. I kept calling the guy too because the two machines had the worst instructions ever. It might as well have said "put oil, put kernels". Where are the oil to kernel ratios? Good thing I'm more familiar with the cotton candy machine, but one of the heating knobs were actually missing. I almost set our event venue on fire with that dang popcorn machine, with smoke everywhere. Perhaps you guys should clean your machine before using it, so you don't kill yourself or others. The cotton candy machine had all this already burnt sugar on it and the bowl section was covered in dirt. After a while of calling the rep, I would say that he shut off his phone because it went to voicemail. Sorry to bother you, but if you guys did your job right the first time I wouldn't have had to reach you. For some reason also they didn't even pick up their machines next day, why would any event venue be okay with you picking up after 4 days later? Dear Brooklyn party rental, I cannot believe you guys call yourself a company. Thanks for letting me know first hand to NEVER rent from you again. Also, you're welcome that we finally cleaned your dirty as heck machines.

To address this matter even further as far as damages and the venue being left with extensive cleaning, and soiled drapes ( I'm assuming wet drapery, where alcohol is involved) pretty common in your line of business I would assume ) and vomit in the bathroom. How is it the fault of mine or my associates that were assisting in removal, how ? You cannot blame or excuse your behavior of the few on the many. We were guests at this event and then bystanders while waiting for the equipment to be broken down and beverages packed and escorted out within the hour time frame to clean. My issue is regarding your professionalism and being disrespected. ** Luckily I will not post the video I took of you yelling several profanities, lies, and also stating leave, don't bother to clean just get " F " out repeatedly while having your several security guards try to calm you down almost an hour before the time everyone was supposed to leave. Maybe that's why no one else stayed back to clean to your standards after everything was removed. I will not post it, but simply mention it because we're both adults and I'm sure you're aware of your behavior and the goal is not to embarrass but enlighten you. I'm not unfair in the sense that you were frustrated for the reasons you are claiming, however your anger was misplaced and directed towards the WRONG INDIVIDUALS. You don't criminalize a bystander for something they did not do. As a grown man you should know better than to scream at women that way even if that wasn't your initial intentions. Myself and those you behaved that way with were not responsible for everything you're clearly upset about. If you're talking about safety precautions, and the usual banter most businesses use to salvage their reputation, doesn't apply to what my complaint is. It is your behavior is what made most of the females in attendance feel unsafe, uncomfortable and disrespected. And as far as how long you've been in business for, I live a few blocks away literally, you're not well known in a positive light. Refer to the other reviews with similar experiences in a different context. I am sorry you feel that way, but as someone in attendance I'm entitled to share my experience whether it's positive or negative. Hopefully you can take your behavior into consideration and account for your future clients, and I do actually wish you well. I can understand when someone is frustrated but that doesn't excuse accountability for your actions.

The only hiccup was the AC- although it was working, the air didn't cool us off much... however, this was a dance workshop which generated a lot of body heat in the middle of a July 2023 heatwave. I MUST be honest , my part was easy , made a phone call , paid for the rentals which was priced reasonable and the tables , chairs , tents , and floor mats were delivered, set up in short notice and the crew were very neat and quick with setup and with pickup the next day . I don't agree with a few pics showing ragged chairs , the tables and chairs were new and solid looking from our experience. Birthday party was fun , my niece was happy , the guest were happy , my cuz was happy and most important, I didn't have to lift a finger as atlas party rentals did it all. 4.5 stars on my yelp meter and would recommend 100 percent .
