I have had my lily since May, still has not bloomed. In fact even the leave growth seems stunted. I have had lilies in my pond for 15 yrs, so not new to this. They are in full sun appx 18" of water, no gravel on top to crowd rhizome, & regular fertilizing. My other two plants are growing & blooming wonderfully, not the one from Chalily. In the picture, the circled one is Chalilys plant, you can see the big difference. Very Disappointed

Wow!! We love this place on the first visit! Staff was really welcoming and helpful. Beautiful selection of fountains and pond stuff. Stop in even just to look at the cool stuff and fish.

We stopped here today and were amazed! Everything was so beautiful! I should have taken pics to share but was phoneless. I bought these cute hand held hummingbird feeders which I have filled and will place on my patio tomorrow. One day I will buy my husband some of the fish and plants that we were lusting after today.

I shop here often for my koi pond needs and wants. Joe has a pretty large fountain and pond/water garden plant selection I would definitely check out what he has to offer.

Great store for pond supplies you can't find elsewhere, including koi fish and big snails.

But I'm telling you...this place is worth it. It's huge and quite literally, they have anything and everything you could ever want for your garden. Also, unlike every other garden shop in the area, they still are stocked with flowers even after the Fourth of July. All the women who work there are incredibly friendly and helpful. They will help you pick out the flowers that grow best together, look best together, and then show you how to arrange them to make them grow to their full potential. they also have their own specialty baskets that they put together in the shop. Though they are a wee bit pricey, I can only imagine it would cost as much if you went around and picked each flower and plant you wanted individually and put it together at home. Also, they have these awesome things called the "downunder basket." Supposedly, they are the only people in St. Louis to make them and they are basically an upside down plant. It's really cool and an original gift if you are looking to bring something of this type as a hostess gift. They also have quite a collection of fountains and other yard ornaments if you are into that sort of thing as well. So...if you are as disappointed with the assortment of flowers in most of the garden shops around town, it may be worth hauling it out to Wildwood. I certainly thought so.

We chose Chesterfield Valley Nursery for the job, and it was the best decision we could've made. Colten Graves, their Landscape Designer & Irrigation Supervisor, was absolutely phenomenal. From the beginning, he treated our yard like it was his own. He was on-site daily, sometimes more than once, and communicated consistently, professionally, and with care. His knowledge is second to none, plants, trees, rock, grading, drainage, design. You name it, Colten handled it with precision. When he said the crew would arrive at a certain time, they did. And the respect the team showed for our property was outstanding. One crew member even removed his muddy boots before walking across our white patio steps. I've never seen that level of care before. Yes, the pricing is on the higher end, but the white-glove service and final result more than justified the cost. Our backyard is now a beautiful, functional space that we love. We'll be hiring Colten again next year for the front yard and recommending him to everyone we know. If you're considering anything from planting a tree to a full-scale yard transformation, do yourself a favor and call Chesterfield Valley Nursery and ask for Colten Graves. You won't be disappointed.
