I was also super impressed and excited that Compost Cats was there assisting with composting and recycling. It makes me so happy to know the waste from the event was handled responsibly. Which actually leads me to the only things I didn't enjoy about the event: there was SO MUCH waste. The amount of plastic utensils and plates and such given out was crazy for such small amounts of food. There should definitely be regulations on paper or compostable plates, and compostable utensils. My only other complaint is that the event was literally STUFFED with people. The space was very large but there were too many people crammed in, and of course, a lot of the people were not disposing of their own trash and made the event feel messy to me. It was hard to maneuver with a plate and a drink to find a spot to enjoy it. All in all, I would definitely attend this event again. I really enjoyed sampling food and beverages from places that I don't normally go to eat or haven't tried before, and I also loved being able to vote for my favorite bite and bev.!

I literally can say I ate at 10 restaurants in one night. By sampling their food and drinks I can literally decide where I want to eat and what restaurants I want to visit! Abuelas had the best taco! Juicy, moist birria made with goat meat!!! Authentic goat meat!!!! The ceviche from chef chic was really good!!!! The tamarindo margarita from Cielos was spicy sweet tangy and chilled!!! The people there were friendly and having a good time. The music was great and the employees were awesome!!!

Unfortunately, it felt no different than a standard splatter paint session. Prior to booking, Rebekah assured me that if I purchased the date night package for $109, we would get an Anniversary sign and special touches. When we arrived, there wasn't a sign or even a verbal acknowledgment, and several elements of the package were either missing or not executed as expected. After reaching out, the business acknowledged that aspects of the anniversary experience were not carried out as intended. I also provided a screenshot from the website referencing champagne, despite later being told that champagne has never been offered at this location. The most disappointing part was the resolution. Despite acknowledging the shortcomings, the only compensation offered was a 20% discount on a future visit, which requires spending more money with the business. We paid extra and chose pinspiration to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary based off of the conversation I had with Rebekah prior to booking and the website description of services included in the package. If I could give less than a 1 star, I would. The lack of customer service and effort to remedy their mistakes and misleading us to purchase a more expensive package makes this experience even worse. I do not recommend Pinspiration.

They have their own parking lot, though the sign was hard to spot initially (I had to loop back to get in). I think the admission fee was around $15 per person. The space is divided into several rooms. One is devoted more to fantasy / sci-fi themes. The rest is mostly segmented into a series of rooms with dollhouses and architectural models. Most of these are highly detailed. You may find something based on a place you've been - there was a Chinese structure from Shanghai that we'd coincidentally seen a long time ago, for example. There are also some figure models (historical figures) in one area. My impression was that many of the pieces were donated to the museum after the original owner / collector passed away, and their heirs wanted to do something useful with the items. The museum is a great solution to cases where you suddenly have a refrigerator-sized dollhouse that you are not personally that attached to, and don't want to store it in your own house forever. There was also a special exhibit (which I assume changes regularly) which, at the time, featured miniatures and models made by Ray Harryhausen. There is a gift shop at the entrance which you can browse without paying admission. This is worth checking out once at least, if you find the description remotely interesting. It was certainly unique.

You can really appreciate the artistry and care that goes into each miniature display. The museum itself is beautiful, and the staff provides wonderful customer service, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Be sure to keep an eye out for their special events as well
