If it's for you (or your child) check out Texas Wesleyan if smaller CAN be better - smaller campus, smaller classes, more tightly reigned focus (after all who really needs a degree in 20 different Chinese dialects?!), and a staff that knows your child's name. This isn't A&M; this isn't TCU. This is like Cheers in a sense - everyone will now your child's name and will do everything they can to make sure they succeed. This is the right fit for my bright, communication-focused, self-directed child; it wasn't about whether he was a big fish in a small pond, or a small fish in a huge pond. This is about finding the right-size pond where he can thrive. I believe with my whole heart that TX Wes is that place. There's a Rosedale Renaissance going on; I can't wait to watch this place and its community get better and better!

The professors are are almost ALL liberal thinkers and Marxist. Critical Race Theory is pushed in almost every class. 1619 is not condemned as fiction and questioning professors blatant biases is mocked. Some classes are even proudly anti American. It turned out to be a really enjoyable experience. The orchestra sounded great, and it looked like TCU students acted out parts of the story alongside the music, which added a nice visual element. The show was about an hour long, making it perfect for kids--it kept my daughter engaged the whole time. Overall, it had a great atmosphere and was a fun, family-friendly event. I'd definitely consider going to something like this again.

My complaint is that when conversing with the student advisor I was told what classes were needed to receive the degree and I completed them. However, when the actual degree was submitted they told me that no matter what arts degree you strive for you will be awarded the AA first which cancels out the specific degree AA Business. Of course I took more classes than was necessary and costing a great deal more. Be careful attending TCCD you could end up spending a great deal more money and not receive what worked for.

Formerly Radio Shack headquarters (all you millennials who dont know, RS was like Best Buy), the whole building was split between Tarrant has now been aquired by TCC. Back then when RS was still in business they use to share the building, certain sections were RS employees and the rest TCC students/staff. The layout is a bit odd because its on a hill so there are parts where you take an elevator up and then walk down the hall and take the elevator down because not everything is connected. There is a lot of space everywhere you go and you can find cozy little corners to study or take a nap all over the place. If that's not your thing panther island is right outside with plenty of walking trails and during the summer they have paddle boats available for rent. Lots of sculptures and water fountains which look every more beautiful in the summer with the flowers blooming and the Texas heat. I play pokemon go and notice many stops and gyms to keep me entertained. I love this location because there is so much to do between classes, take a walk outside and you are at the trinity river or at a fancy restaurant downtown. This campus in my opinion has the best views of all the campuses, the best cafeteria by a landslide and the best parking situation. Students attending TR need a parking sticker to park here but it is free! All you have to do is go to the police kiosk and show them a copy of your schedule, fill out a sheet and your set to go. Because this parking garage is in downtown they are always strict on parking so FYI. I know a lot of the professors that teach at TCC also teach at other local universities so they are equality professors. You pay a fraction of the price here compared to big name schools. Financial aid is available on top of the already low cost of tuition here. TCC has many clubs and organizations students can join so please take advantage of them.

Keeping in mind most of the offices are manned by students, I try to keep my cool when dealing with them. However, this one "employee" really got under my skin. Blatantly contradricting something I knew for a fact I read on the school's website, she would not let the issue go. Thankfully someone else stepped in to help after noticing I was about to totally lose it. In the end, I wrapped up all I needed to accomplish on campus and headed on my way. I graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in 2014 from this same campus. A lot has changed since then, but I'm looking forward to taking a few courses for grins and giggles. It was previously a private school when it was associated with Texas Wesleyan University, but has gone public when acquired by Texas A&M University. The school is one of the newest law schools in Texas. The staff here is very nice. I come here all the time because my gf graduated here and she often takes me back there, down memory lane. I just did a guided tour of the place (with her) a month or two ago, and I'm a little jealous that she went here. And you're a little jealous that I went anywhere with her, right.

The Student center has a large bathroom and they even provide Toilet Seat cleaner! They also have alot of events for Students to be apart of. I checked out their Vending Machine and most of their items are $4.50 and up. The Soda Machine was not full and the drinks were turned backwards? They have a tiny Microwave to heat up your food if needed, It's always clean on Campus. There's plenty of Parking Spaces. It was not crowded at all. The Bookstore was closed before 5 pm. I thought that was inconvenient. I would definitely recommend TCC South Campus. It has a lot to offer.

Good Morning after…read morebeing let go from my previous employer after 8 years, I was left wondering what next - and while the world was in the middle of a global pandemic it was a difficult decision to make while locked up in the house Reassessing , I made the choice to learn a new career. the programs at Peloton College offered choice in careers that will give me an edge to maintaining employment and at any part of the country should I need to in any situation . Medical Billing and Coding was my choice , and I was determined to attain to the best of my ability the course program and achieve a new successful career not only was it a challenge to go back to school but to also overcome the fear after not being in school since high school graduation 1989. and at being an older adult I was second guessing my own abilities. from administrators to the faculty, I never had a second thought about the quality of training and empathy I was getting from Peloton College and also the fact that the curriculum was based in a classroom , and having to attend the classes 90% in a online format due to the pandemic made it more challenging to complete, but my instructor gave me the curriculum in a matter that I could understood and surpass my expectation of what I could achieve myself. Ms. Diana Bowie not only made it understandable but also made the complexity of Medical Billing And Coding easy to grasp and learn. Peloton College's determination to provide students the tools to succeed in new careers is fully demonstrated.
