Please run from the school and don't ever look back. I have two disabilities and they would refuse to give me disability accommodations not only but I got into a disagreement with internship coordinator for the masters and social program and her goal was to crucify me so she made up two lies and had me kicked out of the school permanently if you have any disability or have an illness or have a loved one that dies or anything bad happens to you do not look for sympathy at the school they do not care. They only care about the bottom line which is their money. They will care nothing about you. read more

There is no wait list for a reason honey, please do not consider this school. I will be Graduating in September and I regret my decision to go to this school. I am also in 100k of debt and struggling to work with their schedule as they could not deliver nights and weekends as promised. They have Huge administrative issues and unobtainable guidelines, people are failing out of the program within their last year. There are other programs in the valley such as ASU and GCU I have heard good things about Carrington as well. This program is unable to deliver what is promised, once you start clinicals your credits are non transferable here and you will be locked in. What a cruel understatement to say that nursing school & nursing students have a love-hate relationship. These students are under constant stress, enduring countless nights of no shut eye, and the pressure to do well enough to pass is brutal. I never came across a student who didn't develop overthinking- we all believe we failed far too often. Antidepressants now consume my medicine cabinet and the amount of anxiety felt is just about killing me. What a sad but hard truth- we all entered this field with the same goal in mind: to help others, to be that nurse. Yet nursing school makes it impossible to practice self care, self love & you can be certain you will lose yourself! We all enter having the same goal: become a nurse to help others. Although many of our classmates will change their degree, fail a course and fall behind in the program or just flunk out. we continue to push on through. Nursing school is a fucking joke. I would not reccomend Chamberlain to anyone. I have been failed in classes because I questioned a professors grading according to the rubric given and she failed me by one point. They didn't follow Chapter IV when I was pregnant. They forced me to drop my classes because I refused to attended my clinical two days post partum and even after a Dr. note saying it was unsafe I was still forced to drop the class. That was only one clinical day of 4 I would have missed the others I could attended. I have had my financial aid withheld three seperate times and my private loans for housing went to my tuition because they were withholding my government loans because they demanded I amend my taxes because they didn't like how I filed when the IRS didn't have an issue. I had to hire my own tax professional to verify they were correct and it took Chamberlain 12 weeks and a progressive escalation all the way to the head of Finance in Chicago for the school to cave and admit they were wrong and then they had to back pay me. Meanwhile waiting for my private loan fining in those twelve weeks I had to take out two credit cards to pay my bills because Chamberlain makes it near impossible to work while going to school especially if you have kids. I had a family member pass away during one session and I was denied the ability to attended the funeral because I had clinical that day and they refused me a make up clinical. They recently had a professor fail every student in my class and it has been two weeks that they dropped us all when we had passing grades and we have all lost access to our class and now have to redo our clinical sign up sheets. The facility is nice but the bullshit stress they cause unnecessarily and drag out just to admit they are wrong when you finally break and threaten them with a lawyer is ridiculous. $100k to be overly stressed out and at your breaking point every 8 weeks because they find a way to have something go wrong every time. I am 2 classes away from being done but still highly considering following up with a title IV attorney to see what my options are at this was very recent and caused my graduation to be pushed back 4 months and I had to retake a class I was almost completed with a second time and pay them a second time for because it was dropped after the second week. This is no exaggeration, I have seen Chamberlain push students into so much stress I have personally had classmates be forced to drop their classes because they were admitted to a psych facility for anxiety and depression that they didn't have prior to college. I have also in 4 years of being there have yet to hear a student say "I love Chamberlain" and that is no joke. It is highly frequent to hear "fuck Chamberlain" "This school is bullshit" "I hate it here" or "Chamberlain is why I have mental health issues" I have been apart of 4 different cohorts and these statements have been made or heard in each of them. It's not a small group that feels this way it's a majority. And it doesn't help their credits aren't transferable to most other schools so they trap you once you are fed up you have nowhere to go. read more

My sister and I graduated from here. Horrible place. Horrible experience. They are kicking girls out in the last semesters to falsely inflate their nclex pass rates - meanwhile they owe nearly full tuition, most over $100k. They will charge a minimum of $30,000 over what they quote you - and that is without having to retake classes. They returned my financial aid by mistake twice and I had to figure out how to pay out of pocket. My critical care classes did not have professors - they would force us to write 6 page papers in place of class time. Exhausting. Such bullying and abuse here. Stay away. read more

Out of all the nursing programs in the valley, this one will gladly let you enroll in the program but once you're in it's a trap. The pre req professors are amazing like the anatomy department but once you get to the nursing classes the professors are by far the worst educators you'll experience in the chamberlain program. Very unorganized unprofessional, non approachable. Take your time and money elsewhere. read more

I have had such a bad experience so far! They do not care about the students at all! I've been in college since 2019 and this is the worst school I have attended I am too deep to quit or transfer so I am going to see it through. Just recently I had a balance on the account I reached out to see If I could set up a payment plan I haven't missed a payment in the past so I did not see the problem with it. They will lock your account and not allow you to sign up for classes until the balance is paid it was about 1500 dollars which I could pay if spread out within three months. The emails I received back from the financial advisor showed no empathy for my situation I am a full time nursing student living off my savings all she was worried about was the balance even after explaining to her my situation. "If The hold will not be removed until you take care of your July balance? Have you looked into a private loan? How do you plan to take care of the balance prior to November session starting (your payment plan?" this was her response to me. How money hungry are these people. I am not one to complain but I am fuming how little empathy and care they show to you. Do you research and look for better schools. Do not make the same mistake that I made. read more

If you're a Military Veteran, the spouse of a Veteran, or even a VA Nurse, Chamberlain College has an amazing Military Dept. All of the counselors are Vets too and they understand the jargon/lingo. There's a Military Tuition Rate also that you'll qualify for if you meet the criteria. Tuition for the Online RN-BSN goes down almost 30%. Is it expensive, sure....it's not the cheapest school on the block. However, it IS a single purpose Nursing school, so all the teachers and the Dean are Nursing professionals. I recently graduated with honors from this school and I must say I honestly feel I received a GREAT education! I never really had any issues with the school or the staff. They have always been extremely helpful when I went to them with questions or concerns. The clinicals were the best and I truly learned more than I could ever have imagined! I was smart however, and chose to complete my pre-reqs and co-reqs at Estrella Mountain Community College in order to save money. In the end, my BSN only cost me around $50k. If you choose to do the full 3 years there, it will cost nearly $80k or more. Either way, the program is excellent and priceless! read more

I am currently attending Chamberlain and I have so say this is a fantastic learning environment. We nursing students are a stressed out bunch, and for good reason..nursing school is intense! But all the staff here at Chamberlain are so encouraging and supportive. Many of the professors are students themselves working on their NP degree. If I ever need any extra help I go into the CAS and professor Thurlow is always willing help. All the lab professors are really amazing as well. Since Chamberlain is only a nursing school I feel like our program gets a ton of attention and the staff are always asking for feedback on how to improve the program. My favorite part is the clinical rotation every session, which we get to pick ourselves. No other school in the valley to my knowledge does that at the moment. Go Dacey! read more

I recently graduated from Chamberlain in Phoenix, also with honors (like one of the filtered reviews... check those out), and would not recommend the school to a stranger, much less someone I care about. I also wonder why all of the negative reviews are filtered out. First of all, scheduling is a mess. The administration is not helpful and they don't care when they create a problem. I once signed up for a class before other students and didn't get in when they did. Chamberlain's fault but they refuse to fix problems that they create. They hold their students to such high standards and make no exceptions to anything, but their professors have emergencies all the time and are allowed to move their deadlines around. They chase their best professors away for standing up for students. Also, they just went from 3 graduations a year to 2, which means that all of the students who were told for a couple of years that hey would graduate on a ceratin date do not get to. My graduation got downgraded to something I wish I would have skipped (that's how bad it was... Chamberlain's idea of a compromise) and they now want studnets who finish in February to graduate in June, and students who finish in October to graduate in January. Once again, administration makes up a bunch of excuses as to why and refuses to fix the problems that they create. Lastly, half of your courses are through DeVry, which is a joke. You pay so much money to take courses that you often don't learn anything from. So if you don't mind spending almost $90,000 (and tuition goes up A LOT every year) to be frustrated for 3 years, DON'T CONSIDER THIS SCHOOL! read more

I don't recommend this school. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly until you get in and are vested. Credits only transfer to other regionally accredited schools and costs thousands of dollars each, so once you take a few you're vested. SOOO many people fail out. Even the best of students have to worry about passing after studying every minute of every day. Nursing school is already tough but this accelerated program takes it to a whole new level. read more

I am updating this review after being in the program for another few months. I still won't call it a great program but it is getting better. Now that we are in the meat of the material and actually learning, it has improved. Scheduling is still stressful every 8 weeks as some people are able to self register and some are not. This is the first block where I was able to self register without contacting my academic adviser concerning some problem. All-in-all I would give it 2 1/2 stars but that isn't a choice. read more

Went to speak to an advisor was greeted by someone who initially explained he was in a rush. We came to the conclusion that most of my credits from Maricopa weren't transferable due to them requiring different Maricopa classes that apply to the ASU concurrent program but do not transfer to Chamberlin. Once I stated I was uninterested in taking double the amount of math classes since my 141 didn't transfer, meaning I would take another math class, he rudely told me I'm going to find the same problem if I were to go to ASU then corrected himself apologizing for being rude. Over all it was an uncomfortable experience the man seemed bothered I was a walk in with questions about admissions as opposed to an appointment. Non welcoming, rude. Personally I am aware Chamberlin has a good reputation for the program being a blank slate student but in my experience it seems difficult to transfer from a Maricopa college to their program. read more

I enrolled in the class on September 2,2014 because the person over the phone told me I still had available time to register and take the math placement test. She never enrolled me for the test so I called back on September 3,2014 and she told me I was misinformed and I no longer have time to take the test. So I dropped out of the courses I was currently enrolled in and the lady over the phone told me I might be charge $150 for the student service fee. After A month I logged into my account and saw I was charged $406. I called student financing and they explained all different fees I was getting charged for. I informed them that if I was told this from the beginning I would not have dropped the course. He referred me to someone "Higher up" that explained to me that I will still be getting charged $406 and the person who spoke to me on the phone the first time was a new person and not aware of what she was doing, and that is the policy regardless of their mistakes I still have to pay $406. read more
