Terrible store that we will never visit again. They double charged us for items when we were not…read morelooking. When we confronted them via phone, they refused to ever pick up. In addition, we always try to arrive at opening time, but there is never an employee there. They leave the doors locked and do not open until 30-45 minutes after their published opening time. I've seen the employees pull up, go shopping next door, and smoke a cigarettes on the porch while a parking lot of customers waits for him to open the front door. This all happened after their 10am posted opening time and we left the parking lot around 10:20 after getting tired of watching him smoke.

Ordered online for pickup. Called me to advise an item I had ordered was not in stock [only…read morementioning 1 item]. The item I ordered included both a bottle of bourdon and 2 premium glasses. They offered the same bottle but no glasses (obviously a less expense item) for the same price I already prepaid with my credit card. I countered with an item that was also on my ordert that was slightly more expensive. They said no. I canceled my order and created a new order (as was discussed with a store representative]. As I was picking up my order at the store, I asked if they would get it ready shortly after I placed my revised order online. After roughly 10 minutes I called the store as there online portal was still showing the store has yet to recieve my order. They informed me they had recieved my revised order shortly after it was placed. At this tiem I was informed that another item was not in stiock - this item was on the original order. I was not informed on the first call and only when I called to check the status of my revised order was I informed another item was not in stock. Had to cancel this order as well. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOT WANTING TO DO WHATS BEST FOR THE CUSTOMER. OKAY FOR ME TO PURCHASE SOMETHING OF LESSER VALUE FOR THE SAME PRICE, BUT THEY WERE UNWILLING TO TO DO THE SAME.

I'm from Seattle where the liquor was sold in state store until this week so we don't really have liquor stores like this one yet. But I've been all over this country and I can say that this liquor store is better than most. They have a ridiculous supply and selection. You can literally hide in rows of liquor stacked to the ceiling (almost). The prices are great compared to Washington so that's great. I have no problem with the register guy. They're open until midnight most nights. What's not to love?

If you're in Golden and looking for proximity, this place is fine. This is more of a novelty…read moredistinction than the average person looking to go to an open liquor store late at night, but they don't have a lot of moscato options (definately lacking on the d'asti range). But, if you're looking for a place that provides you the staples are reasonable prices, this is a good place to go. It's open later than its nearest neighbors.
