The attention to detail was top notch and they really seemed to take a lot of care and effort to make sure I was comfortable and that my feet and hands were looking their best. I evaluate everything and the pedicure bowls are clean around the bases and behind them as well - most salons miss this. The manicure stations are very clean too. I can't stand it when there are nail clippings and shavings and gel dust left on a station from a prior customer and that does not happen here. I'm very comfortable with the sanitization of their tools (so important) and I love that they are always ready for me at my appointment time. Other nail salons should take note! This is a husband and wife owned and run business - no other employees, so you know who you are getting and you know you're going to get a high quality manicure and pedicure. They do a great job and he blows me away by free-handing the French and American tips so they look natural. I've been 5 times and they have earned my business as a regular customer going forward. I wish I had discovered them sooner!

However, I've received this exact same service and design at other surrounding nail salons and I've never been charged more than $70. Idol Nails just charged me $90 for this gel manicure! The nail tech explained to me that doing a French manicure is like doing two regular manicures because it requires a base coat then a second coat for the French tip. They will never see me again!

I called ahead to check to see if they could get my daughters and I in on a Saturday. They said "sure! Come on in!" When we got here the owner recognized us from my call and was so sweet and welcoming. My girls just wanted gel manicures, but I wanted a pedicure. They have several to choose from, and I went with the hydrate and moisture pedi. She sold me on it when she said it came with hot stone massage. After picking my color I sat in one of their amazing massage chairs. Loved all the settings. But of course the best was the amazing leg massage with the hot stones! Get it! The salon is very clean and relaxing. Charming decor. Overall cozy feel. (I can't stand loud noisy nail salons) The technician who did my pedicure was excellent. She was very detailed and made sure I was enjoying and relaxing. The location is easy to get into. Plenty of parking.

Because when I explained the problem…read moreI'd been having with the kind of acrylic nail that another salon used, instead of switching to the old-school acrylic, Lila recommended polygel nails. It's made a huge improvement in the health and appearance of my nails. I can wear sheer polish now. My nails don't get nasty discolorations. And Lila never files my living nail like many techs do. (Have you ever had a nail removed and seen all those half circle divets in your nail bed? It's killing your nails!) My nails aren't fake and chunky looking either. I frequently get compliments even though I don't do anything fancy--just simple polish. The salon is near St. Joseph Hospital in old St. Charles and has its own parking lot. So convenient. Its cozy environment is nice--a boutique spot, not 10 techs super busy and trying to fit in walk-ins. They have a scheduling app called Vagaro that I use for appointments. The only drawback you may have is paying a deposit for your appointment. But if you're the kind of person who keeps your appointments, then it will be worth it. In my experience (3 months so far) they've been on time and easy to work with. They just got in some gorgeous new fall colors and I tried a muted pink. But they have rich greens, blues, and browns, too. Maybe I'll go a little bolder next time--a deep blue-- or maybe I'll go back to a sheer. Who knows?
