Bought a new 2025 trail blazer july 2024. Taking it in for service again dec. 2nd 2025 for the 3rd time for the same problem. The computer screen goes blank, does this several times and when it stays on it disconnects my apple play and will not reconnect my phone. They keep telling me it just needs an update, bull crap. In may i got halfway back from Florida and the rest of the way back home had no idea how fast i was going because nothing on computer screens worked, everything was blank. After speaking/visiting with multiple GM dealerships, I visited Champion Chevy here in my (new) hometown of McMinnville. Wow, what a difference in the atmosphere, the way I was treated, and the service I received compared to other dealerships. My consultant, Ernie, was knowledgeable, laid back, and overall just great to work with. He took time to understand my needs, concerns, answer questions, etc. Another dealership kept pushing me toward an Encore GX but I just did not like the style. Ernie kept saying, "you need to find a vehicle you love, not what someone else thinks you might like." After some back and forth (hey, it is part of purchasing a car) we got everything settled with the price of the vehicle, the payment, terms, interest rate, etc. I also want to mention, they were fair on my trade. After this, it was time for a trip to the finance office. I usually hate this part more than the sales part, but Bill made it easy. He took time to explain everything, but was also respectful of my time and it did not take very long to get everything signed and taken care of. He did offer some "up sales" (again, it is part of purchasing a car) but did not pressure me into anything I did not want. After the sale was made, Ernie helped me get my items out of my trade. The sale was done, and he could have moved on to the next customer, but he made sure I was taken care of until the very end. I was even able to meet the owners of the dealership. Would not trust this place for nothing!!! Took my truck in for a recall and it took way longer then it should have and also had money stolen from my truck!! Yes the fact that I left cash in my truck was absolutely my own fault but it was in a locked compartment so that means that someone had to actually go snooping to find it!!! When we called the dealership to let them know, the woman was extremely rude and said their mechanics would never do something like that... clearly we can't prove it because it was cash but we still wanted them to know that they have a thief working for them!
