A friend told us to call Champion immediately after having water damage in our kitchen. So glad we did. Jockien came shortly after, thoroughly inspected the damage, and gave us a detailed explanation of what is involved in a water claim. Not only that, but when our insurance adjuster tried to dismiss the claim a week later, Jockien showed the data and readings he collected that proved this was a type of damage we should be covered for. Talk about having Sherlock Holmes and Ben Matlock on your team. Calvin and the rest of the crew were super professional and left everything clean after the demolition. After that, Aaron and Reuben stayed on top of monitoring the humidity levels. Peter came to run bacterial testing just like in a CSI episode to make sure our kitchen was ready for rebuilding. They have a super friendly team that made us feel they 100% had our backs at all times. Not only did they take care of everything, but they went above and beyond, helped us get the claim approved, AND the insurance company paid for their services. No wonder everybody recommends them. DO NOT USE CHAMPION!!!!! Unprofessional CROOKS. I was referred to Jolen. He is an absolute jewel. I have never met a better, more diplomatic customer oriented person. I got stuck with Champion. If one employee could save the rating I would not be writing this review. One of the employees threatened me in my own home. I had to walk backwards then side step out of my front door to get away from him. I walked to my car in the driveway and when he went out the door into the garage, I ran back through the front door, into my house and locked the doors. I called Champion's office that night. But I did not speak to the owner Chris until 2 days later and he shared that I was his biggest ($) job at the time. I had water damage and my electrical panels were shorted out. Champion bought in their electrician who stood in ankle high water in waders in the dark with a hat with a light on it, trying to manually dry out the circuit breakers. No dryer on the panels until the third day. The circuit breakers kept tripping. Too wet to be used. Champion finally bought out their generator but still insisted on using the electricity at my home. I owe greystone $861. Champion charged my insurance company for every day the generator sat in my driveway but they refused to fuel the generator. I recounted at least three days that they just did not refuel the generator. The fans, heaters, dehys and purifiers are all 'rented' by the day. The attached pic shows units with the cord wrapped up, not in use, but technically on my property so they charged my insurance company. Champion direct billed my insurance but they did not let me see the invoice before hand. $122,000. When I asked if they were going to adjust the bill for the days the generator was not fueled and for the equipment that was not actually in use or on my property. I paid enough to purchase a generator for what they charged. They called their electrician out on a Sunday then the following Saturday. Not during the week. I actually spoke to the electrician on Friday and we agreed he would come out on the following Monday after the house dried out more over the weekend. The employee who threatened me had called the electrician. He told him I was not home so they were calling the shots. So I arrive at my home Saturday afternoon and guess who is there? I feel they purposely padded the bill. I spoke to Dayna Stone about the bill and she stated, "the insurance company did not have an issue with it". That is a quote. But how could they? The insurance company was not on site. I had to tell them or they would not have known. I feel some of the employees took advantage of the fact that I was grieving and they assume homeowners don't know anything and they can just do whatever in your home. Several items were broken. One of the employees grabbed my daughter's Urn from the dining room table and was not properly supporting it. I thought he was going to drop it so I grabbed it from him. There are black spots on two walls and in one of the bathrooms. When I asked if they performed an air quality test I was told none was required. I caught one employee in my bedroom on three occasions. My room was not impacted and I had been moving precious items into that room for safe keeping while the team worked. My water was off and the male employees kept using the bathroom. I think it was a free for all after the first employee went. My HOA provided a key for them to use the facilities at the pool house just steps from my property. I actually went to the office to talk to them about the invoice and to express my discontent. I met the Account Manager. I think she was trying to bond with me thinking that being nice would make me not address my concerns. But she asked me what kind of work did I do. I shared that I am an engineer. This bigot said I must be a pioneer. She said pioneer. I explained that I AM A BLACK FEMALE ENGINEER WITH FRIENDS WHO ARE ALSO BLACK, SOME OF THEM FEMALE, ALSO ENGINEERS AND ALSO VERY EDUCATED. I further explained that I know a 2 Star General and several Colonels who are also black and a few Doctors and CEOs who are also black and some of them also female. I was so incensed I had to walk out. Worse experience of my life. Please don't use Champion. read more

Our water heater cracked overnight and leaked its entire contents all over the basement. Champion responded immediately and Jockien was at the house within 30 minutes. He helped us understand the insurance process, did a thorough assessment and quickly called in the cleanup team. Calvin and Mike arrived quickly with all the equipment they needed and began working immediately. They were all kind, friendly, respectful and efficient! We are so grateful for them! We had a major disaster in our home and were at a complete loss on what to do. Champion came to our rescue!! In a time of anxiety and stress due to a horrible pipe leak in our home, they came out quickly, answered all of our questions and even offered to be on call throughout the process since it was new to us. It didn't stop there! They continued to answer our questions, took the time to explain everything in detail about their process and approach as well as give us the confidence to know our home would be in good shape after. I don't recommend them. They refinished our hardwood floors and painted, after some water damage. At the same time, they were to clean some Oriental rugs. The piano was not placed properly and when they came and moved it, they scratched the floor they had just refinished. When they brought the carpets back, only one person came, despite the promise that they would put everything back in its proper place and putting the rugs back required moving a lot of furniture. I did not appreciate the man from Champion walking into my bedroom, where I was on the phone, to interrupt me. Their customer service is terrible and their work less than satisfactory. read more

I contracted with this company after a major water leak resulting in over 30 thousand dollars in damage. I was met with flowery speech and promise's and substandard workmanship. They used undocumented labor and unskilled labor resulting in further damage that forced a second claim and then a denial of responsibility. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They are AWFUL!!! read more
