Obviously, you pay a bit more for a custom piece vs. heading to your local big box store, but it is worth every penny as I know this piece will last me a lifetime. It is SOLID wood - unlike the pressboard you might find elsewhere. The hardware used to put it together is also of the highest quality giving me confidence that if I need to move, it can easily be disassembled and put back together. It is extremely well-built and sturdy so I have no doubts that it will support my sewing habit. We had to cancel our wedding, with hopes of rescheduling having Claudia transfer the funds for whenever our wedding did happen. We wound up doing something small, and since we felt bad for Claudia and her small business we decided to ask Claudia to just setup all the flowers for our little backyard wedding as to not have to ask for our money back. She ghosted us, never responded to phone calls, texts or emails. We had our wedding without the flowers and now we're out $1500. After disputing with our bank, Claudia submitted our contract stating that we agreed to her no refund policy. That was that. She stole our money and took advantage of us because she knew she can walk away with the money. Very sleazy. I strongly recommend finding someone more moral and honest than Claudia. Shame on her for making our situation much worse than it already has been due to the circumstances.

Our kitchen designer was helpful and courteous, and we ended up with a cool design with a good amount of high-end features (all plywood, 42 inch upper, two lazy susans, big base cabinet drawers, etc.) for our budget. The experience was much more pleasant than our quotes at Lowes/Home Depot, and we got a very reasonable quote. We ordered and paid on August 4th. Cabinets were actually delivered on September 12th. The 5+ week lead time was longer than we anticipated but workable and more of an issue with Waypoint. I was very concerned about potential quality issues based on reading online forums. There were some relatively minor paint problems that we can probably touch up (the promised touch up kit was not included in our sink base, unfortunately). We discovered two bigger problems: a cracked wall cabinet door and a missing gap in the design with no filler pieces to address. The 3.5 inch gap should have been addressed in the kitchen design and measuring process, but, alas, it was not. These two issues have delayed the completion of our project, inconveniencing my family and our install contractor. I reported the problem on 9/14, and we still have not received the corrected pieces as of 9/22. Tracking indicates possible delivery on 9/23. Waypoint claims to have "Rapid Resolution", but 9 days is far from rapid when you are in the middle of a renovation project. I was told the parts shipped on 9/16, but tracking indicates that shipment did not occur until 9/21. I hate to give a negative review, because the people I have worked with at Round Rock Cabinets have been friendly and helpful. That said, I don't feel very good about this situation. After a pretty good start to our project, the communication and resolution of our issues has not inspired much confidence.
