Made me go several times, they said they can only talk prices after they ran my credit. 830 credit score, 6 figure job and they came up with an extremely high interest rate from their bank. I said I would bring my own bank approval and they drove up the price by $4k. After a week waiting for "the bank to release the title", they said the title was lost and couldn't sell the car. Come to find out they sold the vehicle while they were giving me the runaround. They price gouge the vehicle when they can't get you to finance through their bank, lie to you and make you waste your time. I was told 4 people couldn't afford the car and I see why. You would never send your wife to this place alone. Like an urban Fort Apache, it sits in a semi secluded alleyway surrounded by a crude chain link fence and barbed wire. The sales "office" is a very rusted out old trailer home. Our initial greeting at the place was a employee yelling at us to not park within the barbed-wire. We liked the safety of being inside the barbed-wire and there were plenty of spaces available. The on line reviews all say that they advertise at one price and, then, dramatically mark up the price upon arrival. This was the case with us. The lot advertised a car for $23,000 on line. When we arrived the Salesman said he couldn't sell it to us for that price, because it was "below market," and tried to sell it to us for $29K! We walked. So should you. They ran my credit And wanted me to pay 3k before they would show me a contract. It was going to be on-line price, plus 12k in stuff, plus shipping. My temp registration has expired...I paid Champion to take care of this because that's one of the obvious perks of doing a trade in. They told me they would take care of everything and I requested to swap my plates. Champion did a fine job with the sale and financing, but NOT the registration. I am now driving an illegal vehicle because they didn't send the paperwork in to the dmv in time. I will now be looking for reimbursement for this service and I'm just doing it myself today. What a waste of time...Champion 2 did a fine job on the sale and my new truck is very nice, but it's a totally illegal unregistered truck I'm driving at this point. Very disappointing finish to an otherwise smooth transition. Hope they fix this and I hope I don't get pulled over. Bensonhurst Brooklyn girl was lookin for a Caddy for a few months - 2 door coupe - found my dream girl at Champion over the weekend. I passed by and was greeted by a wonderful guy named Tony. He was friendly and kind and got right to work for me in showing me the car and getting down to business. Everyone at their place was so nice! Offered me a nice cold glass of water while I was waiting and within an hour I was approved, insured, and rollin out the door in my new ride. Glad to say I found my dream car and also have a place to bring her to for service. Happy I get to see my friends over at champion again when she needs her oil changes and stuff. This is by far the worst business I've ever seen ran. I've been buying and fixing cars for a long time now and this man is horrific. He sold my friend a 2002 Honda Accord with no brakes, a near dead battery, a leak in his fuel line, and more. He turned off the check engine light just to sell the car, and did a couple tweaks here and there just to sell the car. This car is nowhere near safe and nowhere near cleared for inspection. He's a false advertising liar whose main goal is to rip people off. If you want a safe reliable car don't ever come near this place. I would not reccomend purchasing a car from here. I recently bought an eclipse there. I am young and this is the first car I ever purchased. They changed the price on me calling it a dealer prep free but I dong see anything that has been prepped. First month I got a check engine light. The interior by the speedometer is messed up and apparantly they cant do a thing about it. They said they ordered a peoce for the trunk of the car. It has never came and it's about to be 2 months. Moral of the story, dont make the same mistake I did. Mike tries so hard to seem nice but when you ask him a legitimate question he doesn't know how to answer he just smiles. I called about a vehicle that was on their website & was told that it was in the shop. When I asked when they expected it to be back they couldn't answer (red flag #1). I called the next day for an update, because I was told that other people were interested in this vehicle & I didn't want to miss the opportunity to see it, but I was again told that it was still in the shop (red flag #2) but this time that it should be back on the lot the next day, YAY, right? NO!. I called the next day & was told it still wasn't back & they didn't know when it would be available (red flag #3). Today I got a notification from CarFax that the car was sold...WTF!?!? I don't know what to call this "Sales Tactic" other than sleazy. If they had another buyer who left a deposit or something, why not just tell me that so I can move on? If the other sale fell through, they could have called me back, right? Let's see I went in to purchase a 2014 BMW 320i That was advertised on Car Gurus for $10,994 When I arrived I talked with Mike aka con - artist Who told me the price advertised was the cash price not the actual price which came to about $18,961 With all the dealer fees which is a bunch of Bullshit...the cash price should be just that granted small registration fees and taxes. Stay Away...from these guys please be guided by the contents of this message. I came in with 12K for a car advertised at just about 11k and these idiots wanted me to pay more then $18K wow! Then I showed them reviews from another location at the 100 E. St. George's location in Linden NJ the one I was dealing with. The internet prices are "finance prices." They claim it says this in their descriptions but after I went and spoke to Andrew and Tommy, who was rude, I read their description and did not find anything about finance prices. Also read other reviews from people who actually bought cars and had issues with the vehicles they purchased. There is a reason this place is rated so low. Please please please, save your money and buy from another place or from an actual dealership guys. This place should not even be a last resort.
