Within weeks, the front-end started failing: the bumper mount gave way, the radiator support was installed incorrectly, and the motor mount needed alignment. The car spent roughly 21 days in their shop during the first three months. We asked for the repair invoices and parts records multiple times. They refused to provide anything in writing and kept giving verbal assurances that the car was "safe." In June, the vehicle went into reduced-power mode with a check-engine light. They did not respond. We took it to an authorized Volkswagen service center, which diagnosed a failed thermostat housing, water pump, and a torn driver-side CV boot. On July 18, 2026, BM Motor Cars formally refused to assist, claiming the 90-day warranty expired. They made no accounting for the 21 days the vehicle was already out of service for repairs. A 2025 vehicle with 600 miles and a $1,000 reconditioning fee should not require a new water pump, thermostat housing, and repeated front-end repairs. He told me to come back Monday 11/24 at 10 AM. 11/24 - Second Visit I arrived at 10 AM, but David was not there. He called me instead and told me to drive the car to a mechanic 13 minutes away. At the mechanic he sent me to: * They fixed the TPMS light * They discovered the inner tie rod was damaged, the steering rack boot was detached, and told me the vehicle was unsafe to drive in that condition * They also told me they could NOT make that repair there Because of the safety concern, I drove carefully to another mechanic who could fix the issue. I texted David to let him know the car needed to stay at that mechanic. He said he would get back to me once he reached his office. I also messaged Mike Gil asking for a supervisor's email, and I was left on read. Today: 11/26 I have not received any response from anyone. My car is still at the mechanic, and I am paying out of pocket for repairs that should have been addressed before the vehicle was sold. This used car dealer runs their business in a very strange way, shifting their inventory problems onto customers. I happened to see a 2017 Range Rover they had for sale and went to test drive it, but it turned out the vehicle needed repairs -- there was a strong humming noise from underneath that was clearly felt inside the cabin. I refused to consider it further. A few days later, one of their employees suggested that I pay out of pocket to diagnose the issue with that same 2017 Range Rover. I explained that pushing their problems onto a buyer is unacceptable and frankly ridiculous, especially since the car is advertised as being in proper working condition. Then, a few days later, the same employee called again and said they had another Range Rover, this time a 2018 model. I scheduled a test drive in advance, but when I arrived on the appointed day, an employee named Anton told me the car was supposedly in service. After waiting for some time, it became clear I would not see the vehicle at all, so I left -- having wasted about three hours of my time, as well as money on gas and tolls for the trip there and back. Never received 2nd key as promised, CEL fault for cat. converter ($1,500 - $2000 repair), left side (drivers) mirror had wood screws that fell out before delivery, right rear window will not go down. Wheel size was incorrectly listed (was actually larger). Once the CC had been received a "don't care" attitude quickly surfaced. We were serious buyers -- willing to pay their full asking price, travel 250+ miles, and had our financing lined up. But this dealership took advantage of our trust and wasted our time and money. We asked repeatedly -- eight times -- to speak with a manager, finance officer, or someone in authority. Every request was ignored. Their salesperson, Anton, convinced us to apply for dealer financing by claiming that Wells Fargo would beat our credit union's 6.29% interest rate. He later told us we were approved at 5.9% -- so we booked flights, got a certified check, arranged insurance, and prepared to drive home in our new truck. Only after it was too late to make other arrangements did Anton finally send the paperwork -- with a 7.1% interest rate. When questioned, he flat-out denied ever quoting 5.9%, despite having said so clearly. This was a classic bait-and-switch. They delayed sending us the paperwork until the last possible moment, knowing we were committed -- flights, check, insurance, time off work -- so we'd have no way to back out or arrange alternative financing. They also padded the deal with over $1,200 in fees, on top of the inflated interest rate, which they profit from directly. BUYERS BEWARE. Mike was great to work with. Communication was great UNTIL the sale was completed I went up after several calls and texts, almost 2 hours away, and he was very professional until sale was completed. Even though I was buying a car, as is, There were a few things they promised to take care of and do before delivery of the vehicle. One was fill the tank up. Two was repair the brakes. Three was attempt to recharge the AC. They did not do anything with the brakes the brakes are identical as when I test drove the vehicle and they knew there was a problem. The vehicle was supposed to have a full tank of gas it arrived with under a quarter of a tank so cost over $100 to fill up. When i texted the sales rep he texted back "my fault, i was supposed to tell you couldn't for transport" But they knew they were transporting when the agreed THREE times. The AC, they claimed they tried to recharge it. LIES. i recharged it myself and it works. Imagine if they just did what they promised. The delivery guy was wonderful and dealing with them in the beginning was good. They're on hold music should make people question the company. It has wrong information on their address, their showroom, and their inventory and their service Bays. Found a Silverado online for $17,700. Called the dealer and a lady answered to tell me it was on the lot but when I showed up (40+ minute drive) it was not there and with a price change of $18,900 in 12 hours but toly said the $17,700 price would be the right one since I found it at that and showed proof. Came back when the vehicle did show up and there is excessive damage on the body especially the front bumper having a cut deep enough to need body work as well as other damage around the mirrors/sides and a hanging front lip under the bumper. Anton tells me he has to talk to the boss now about the price... which then cannot be changed from $18,900. They would not even allow me to test drive the vehicle without running all info. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I had so many problems, here's a list . 1. I purchased a car recently, about 24-36 hours after I got home I had 2 flat tires, I called BM motorcars and let them know I would be taking my car in to get my tires replaced. Because I have 4WD I had to replace all 4 tires, I got a decent price of $750 to replace everything. I was told a manager would reach out to me about compensating me for the issue since I had just purchased the car 2 DAYS BEFORE... Well this never happened. 2. My permanent license plate and registration still has not arrived, despite my temp license plate and registration now being 10 DAYS EXPIRED. I've called multiple times about this and been given multiple false dates of when I will receive these documents. 3. I am currently sitting in a garage waiting on AAA because both my battery and ignition lights turned on a few days ago and I haven't been able to take my car in yet because of my work schedule. This is 5 WEEKS after I purchased this vehicle. I will have to take my car back into a shop to get it looked at and quoted for repairs once again. 4. These are smaller issues but still very frustrating. My alignment was very messed up, and windshield wipers were smudging my windshield. So I also had to pay for both of those to be repaired. My volume button in the car is also cracked and I have a 4 from the 4x4 decal in the back missing (these last 2 would not bother me had so many other things not been messed up with this vehicle) I have had nothing but headaches since purchasing this vehicle, and am attempting to save other people from having to deal with the same stress I'm currently undergoing. While the manager has now been responding to me and kind over the phone. He has told me that the owner/his boss, is unable to help me in any way. This covered servicing and cleaning the car, which felt a bit steep, but Tony offered a small $500 financing deal, which helped. Negotiations with Tony and his manager were a back-and-forth process. Despite my efforts, the manager refused to lower the price by $500, justifying it by mentioning overheads and their support for a local high school (which seemed irrelevant). Overall, I felt neutral about the final price--neither thrilled nor upset, which, in car buying, is probably a win. We agreed on the price under the condition of a full tank of gas, two keys, and the scratches being buffed out. [- One Star] Communication: After finalizing the deal and signing the paperwork, I spent days trying to get in touch with Tony to sort out my finances, insurance, and documentation. One of the other salespeople eventually buffed the car, but Tony failed to follow through on what he promised during the sale. To add insult to injury, the manager sent someone to inform me that it's "not their policy" to provide a full tank of gas, despite having used that as leverage to close the deal. The whole process felt like false advertising, and after waiting over two hours, I left without the full tank of gas or a proper resolution. In the end, the company failed to uphold basic promises, and it felt like I was misled into signing the deal. The lack of accountability from the management was frustrating, and the poor communication made an already stressful process even worse. While I understand that dealerships may have certain policies, it's unethical to promise things during a sale and then backtrack after the contract is signed. TL;DR: Fair price on the car, but poor communication and unfulfilled promises soured the experience. Overzealous and disorganized sales tactics, with the manager failing to resolve key issues. At signing, I was hit with a $3,000 "accessory charge" in addition to the asking price that was never disclosed until signing. Ultimately, i was invested in this car and negotiated the price down and ended up buying it. This dealer is as stereotypical as it comes, a bunch of shady liars with no principle whatsoever. It's truly a shame that places like this exist and refuse to conduct business in an ethical and transparent manner. Their practices are truly predatory. For example, in addition to the unsolicited charge, I was told 2 keys came with the vehicle. The vehicle was shipped with only one key and then the manager Jon hung up the phone on me when I called to confront the situation. All I wanted was for them to do the right thing and rightfully give me the second key or reimburse me for the price as that's what I was told before signing. Not only this, but my salesman told me the dealership TOOK AWAY HIS COMMISSION from the deal because of the misrepresentation pertaining to the 2 keys. Yes, they just took away the commission even though there was no monetary adjustment made for the missing key. That is theft. Additionally, they do not check their cars either. I sent the car for a pre purchase inspection and somehow both the local Audi dealership and BM missed a massive coolant leak in the car. I was unable to drive the car for a week after it arrived as a result and the leak was clear as day (see pictures). Overall, these guys are unethical, shady, and know no principle. After being told that a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country was no longer available, Extania referred me to a much more expensive 2016 Honda Odyssey on their website listed for $13,900, $2k over KBB value and offered the "Very Good" KBB value of $12,000 before looking. Then I received an email from Brandon McClain who told me that they can't accept offers online but if I came in they would definitely be able to make it happen. I went in today to take a look and test drive and told them that due to the deep scratches, dents in the hood and fender and loose bumper I would offer the "Good" KBB value for $11,500. Roman then drafted a sales offer at the original online price of $13,900 PLUS an additional $1975 in "accessories" that Roman described as a way for them to compensate for their "super low" prices. Buyer Beware! I purchased my vehicle online and it has been an awful experience. These people are dishonest and unprofessional. Extania was the salesperson and she was dishonest about damage/discoloration to several parts of very light oyster colored seats. After calling several times, it still took over 2 months to receive my paperwork for new plates. I had to pay for a 2nd set of 45 day tags. Finally, I was totally misled about the coverage provided under an extended warranty and Jon the finance person has refused to process my written request to cancel. I am currently filing a complaint with the NJ State Attorney's office regarding the warranty issue. I purchased a Chevy Volt at the end of May. Val was my salesperson and he was pretty nice, and so was Randy (finance supervisor?). We negotiated a pretty good deal with the car and trade in. I only had one issue and that was I knew the car had been in some sort of front end incident. Even though they were unaware until I pointed out said damage, it wasn't a deal breaker. I was promised by Randy that the things I pointed out would be addressed. Fast forward a month. I drop the car off on July 1st to have the bodywork done. I literally leave for Alaska, and was gone for 3 weeks. When I got back, I called to pick up the car, and was told they weren't authorized to do the work. In short, they did nothing. I went to pick up the car and found it on a public street where it looked to basically had been for the entire time at their shop. I was PISSED. As I was collecting my keys, Randy saw me and wanted to know what was going on. I explained and he took ownership of the situation. It was explained that they had let go of a few people in their service department (because of theft) and in turn, they retaliated by deleting ALL of their service records for their customers. Petty, but since I too am petty, I understood and wasn't too mad. Randy turned me over to another person (Paul) who was pretty nice and seemed like he was helping out. Fast forward a week and I came in to check on the status of parts that they were ordering. Paul mysteriously is no longer with the company and no one knows anything about my car in service. I was pretty angry. I was then turned over to Jeremy. I'm not exactly sure of his title, but he took over. He quickly set up a rental, followed up with me almost daily, and made sure ALL my concerns were addressed. He even had my car detailed (car looked brand new when I picked it up). When I returned the rental, there was no fuss about being reimbursed. I was issued a check on the spot. I was apologized to and basically treated with 5 star service. This started good, got kinda ugly in the middle, but it ended very well. I have to thank Jeremy, and Randy for actually keeping their word. There is a bit more to add to this. Even though BM Motor Cars promised they would fix the hood, (and they eventually did along with a bunch of other things) they weren't obligated to fix "the other things". It wasn't until after I drove away and had the car for a few days that I noticed the other issues I later brought up and they agreed to address. Legally, I signed a "we owe" and technically, they didn't owe me anything more than just the hood repair. Now, morally, thats another story. However, if they would have said no from the jump, I would have been "ok" with it because I missed those things before purchasing the car. The ~$2k of dealer coverage is laughable. One car ran out of gas during a test drive, another's engine was dead. 600 for docs? On the steep side. I get they need to make money and they use under market postings to lure people to Rahway, but customers are going to be frustrated when the fees build up. Is it any better anywhere else? This place was disorganized and duplicitous - someone named Anton answered and proceeded to schedule an appointment to look at a BMW 3 Wagon then, after having 5 different people contact me via email, text and phone, called me while I drive through New Jersey traffic, 5 minutes before the appointment to say there was no wagon and it was 'on loan' to another dealership. It sounded like a total scam, he thought I was coming all the way from DC because of my area code, and that I would still come even though I had driven 4 hours. Thankfully I could just turn around but what a bush league sleazy place. DON'T GO THERE!!! read more

Great experience. I dealt with Manan who was my sales consultant and he was marvelous. He took me on 2 test drives with cars I wanted to compare. I'm a very picky person and he took his time with me to make sure I got the car I not only loved, but was very comfortable with. Jon is the finance manager at BM and he was one of the nicest people I've ever came across, he broke down the pricing to the t, and also got me extended warranty on my car to make sure I was good for the time that I financed my new beautiful blue Cadillac ATS! read more

I never write reviews but this place really f'd me over, to be quite honest my experience with you guys was not good at all, there were holes in the convertible roof of the car, the battery was dead but the hood wouldn't pop because it was broken, I asked pretty explicitly on the phone to have all of the information before making the hour drive to see it. If I could give them a zero I would. My sister purchased a vehicle from them and had to get it fixed because there were rodent feces under the hood of the car. The manager is so nasty and rude, save your money and go to a reputable car dealership, do not go to a place that scams and deceives their customers. read more

Shady shady shady. Saw the car on TrueCar with price of $16,369 plus $599 in fees; this was sent as 'certificate' from BM/Truecar. Show up and tried to get me to sign order of $17,250, plus $599 in fees and $1,895 for 'accessories'. I asked what the accessories were and he said "we sell under book value, that is for our time in cleaning up and checking it out". Shady shady shady I showed him the doc he honored the original quote and cut the $1,895 to $800. I knew i should have walked away, but it was still cheaper than the other car I was looking at another dealer. I told him I was financing thru my own bank, next thing he told me was I was approved from their finance company - he told me they get paid by finance company. the rates were a little off and it saved me a trip so I let it slide. But when it came for contract, they tried to slide completely different terms. It was corrected, but I'm sure it was not an honest mistake. Then when it is all said and done with, he hands me the key, it was a single key with no remote. He gave some horse crap story of they are in the back and he will send the remotes the next day. Of course he never returned my call. I went to the Subaru dealer and spent $500 on keys/remotes. Who the heck sells a car with a single key?? The amazing thing is that I told him I am looking for 2 other lesser cars for my kids that just got their license... and he still screwed me. Listen it was my decision ultimately, and the cost was just under or even with a car with more miles, but I just wish I wasn't in such a rush. I would have rather overpaid for a trustworthy dealer than save a grand with theses shady dudes. shady shady shady Stay away! read more
