Most of the time stepping into the gym is the hardest part, but there are no egos here. Lots of experienced purple/brown/black belts who roll AND teach you as you go. Drilling techniques until you get them right and are comfortable. Not a one and done situation. I was able to roll with the higher belts and every single person respected where I currently was at in my BJJ journey/post a surgery. Kids side: my son is currently at another gym and after my experience and also being able to watch their kids/juniors class I will be transferring him over once we are in the area full time. You will find people here that are willing to help you start your jiujitsu journey or continue to grow and integrate new aspects into your game. You will also find that the owners and other instructors are very laid back and comfortable teaching/coaching all students, not just those who are already "good" at jiujitsu. You will not find people here who are trying to destroy you on the mats in an effort to boost their ego. You can learn at your own pace and the availability of multiple classes throughout the day/week will help you find the time and space that suits you best.
