That solution was found here- a delicious bowl of steaming hot homemade cauliflower and cheese soup. And I paired that with an incredible grilled cheese. The soup was thick and creamy, with plenty of cauliflower in a rich, thick soup. It was the best I have ever had and if it was an all you could eat deal - I would still be there eating! I felt like I was sitting in a warm country kitchen. The place was decorated tastefully and warmly for the season. I will have to come back and check out their other soups. I loved the whole experience here and think I will come here often!! And the service was as warm and friendly as the atmosphere! Hats off to this comfort food jewel!

So after a quick Yelp search of lunch near me, the first hit was Olde Towne Cafe and Inn which had five stars. I decided to check it out. I have to say I drove right past it! I was expecting for something a bit more store-fronty this really looks like a house and I missed their signage. I turned around on Rail Street... got distracted at Porters but within five minutes was back on track to Olde Towne. They have a small parking lot which had a space, so I eagerly parked and popped i side. It is super cute. Very farm house-ish. Definitely a old house converted i to a bed and breakfast with most of the downstairs rooms dining. The kitchen can be seen from the room I sat in. It looked very clean and organized. I browsed the menu and decided on pancakes. They are served with bacon or sausage.... Im not a huge meat eater so I chose bacon and crumbled up on the pancake.... Ended up pushing it off the pancake and not eating it. Not their fault. Bacon is fine but Im just liking bacon less and less. Today was a no bacon day. Lol. However the pancakes! Wowzers. Huge. Fluffy. i got two that were each almost as big as the oblong platter they were served on. I couldnt finish all of it. They were delicious. I see why people give this place a good rating. The staff was welcoming and make you feel at home. Its just a good old fashioned breakfast/lunch spot. Not bougie at all... which to me is a plus "not" to be bougie. Sometimes you just need a place that feels like home. This is that place.

It's packed but do not get impatient, they have this down to a science and you are usually called within 20-30 minutes or less. It depends on the line. The food is tasty, very delicious. The pies... yum o'lala. Clean, everyone is kind. Oh and the Amish families eat there, so you know it has to be good. Our guest ate from the Buffett, we eat from the menu.

There's a buffet or menu items to choose from. We got the buffet. Full salad bar with fresh ingredients, local cheese. Cold salads like macaroni and broccoli. The croutons were good, crunchy but not break your teeth and they had a variety of breads they used. Fresh bacon pieces. The hot foods bar had: -fried chicken (VERY good, highly recommend) -cabbage casserole (little too cheesy for me) -corn (very very sweet, interesting) -noodles (YUM!!!) -dressing (what they call stuffing, it was good) -bbq ribs (fall of the bone but I thought the sauce could be better, have more flavor) -green beans (basic, would be better with seasoning/butter) -mashed potatoes and gravy (yum!) We had good service and overall the buffet was a better deal than ordering something off the menu, especially if you wanted to try a couple different things. It was a good way to get a wide variety of items. Lemonade was very fresh

Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan -- so many people hyped this place up that we had to check it out…read more It's buffet style with all-you-can-eat salad bar, soups, hot dishes, and pies. Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).

They also have a catering menu next to their regular menu! I also added regular fries and the spicy fries. They gave me a beeper #16 that will buzz when my food is ready. I took a seat in front of the register. Then things went south. The food was taking soooo long. I kept staring at the cooks, salivating, checking the time, checking my beeper, patience sure is a virtue! A few people got their food and let me tell you, it looked amazing! About 20 mns. Later...a gentleman asked me for my ticket number. He waved me up front and said my food had been ready for 10 mns. I guess the beeper was not working. No apologies given...customers service not on point. Well, that needs to be fixed: beeper and service. I went home and devoured my burger with my family. It was so good even cold. The burger had a very thin black burnt patty sticking out of the large bun. It was One of the best burgers around next to Five guys. I air-fried my soggy fries. Not too bad. They both tasted good. I liked the oil they were fried in! I found 2 $10 off coupon in the bag,not sure if they snuck it in after they forgot about me or everyone gets them; but it put a bandaid on my wound. I would like to return and try their chicken next time. I will probably order ahead, lesson learned. It would be a perfect 5 stars if I didn't wait soooo long and the staff was nicer.
