I think Lakebound Pizza is one of the only places in the area to find Philadelphia water ice, which they keep in a little freezer in the store. You'll find at least half a dozen flavors. I chose mango. It was icy cold and yummy, and the perfect frozen treat for a hot day. Like I mentioned, I also checked out the game room that they have here. It's a relatively new development, but they have a few arcade games, a basketball shoot game, and a selfie station. It's a neat little place in Buckeye Lake to hang out, play some games, get some pizza and Philly water ice, and enjoy your stay. What's even more surprising is that Lakebound Pizza has a huge gift shop on site. It's connected to the game area. So if you're looking for some lake-life goodies to take home, this is a place to find that.

I got a small pepperoni pizza, 6 garlic parm wings, and a gyro (they did not understand when I pronounced it the Greek way- insisted on the, er, Ohio way.) All for $18, so they still have the cheap part down. And the sauce still tastes weird. Sour, with a little sweetness. Not awful, don't get me wrong. But strange, to me. The pizza as a whole was fine, for a cheap pizza. Decent crust and cheese, plenty of pepperoni, cooked up well. Taken as a whole, good not great, and better than I remember theirs being. The wings were big, and the seasoning is more in the breading, so they aren't saucy. They were mushy, though, and it was only a 10-minute drive home. Good enough, nothing special. And again, cheap. The gyro was also cheap, and the fillings were a bit sparse. Not a lot of meat. Not much sauce- though it was thin and leaked out, so maybe it was there to start with. Again, okay, not amazing. I don't mean to complain. For less than $20 this was a lot of food. Filling, tasty enough, and cheap. If you're feeding a crowd, or kids, it is just fine. No dine-in, they do have a drive-through. That corner can get a little crazy at peak traffic hours, so be careful. I went at 1pm and it was fine. To end on an up note: cheap, and better than I remember!

After hearing Stadz mentioned by multiple people, I finally stopped in for a carryout order. Order: Large pepperoni, sausage, and banana pepper pizza. After one pizza, I understood why. The pepperoni had those crispy curled edges, the sausage added plenty of flavor, and the banana peppers brought just enough tang to keep the pizza from feeling too heavy. They used just enough to complement the toppings without making the slices messy. What really impressed me was the restraint. Nothing was overdone.
