I understood that once they got into the machine it might be too expensive to repair and there were no guarantees. It seems that they had done some more research and realized that given how far off the track the bar was, this was something they were not comfortable fixing and needed to go to an Epson-certified tech as it would require going into the motherboard of the machine. Although I realized that this might not work out from the get-go, from what I can tell, they did not even look inside. I am frustrated I paid $99.00 when they knew the machine, had a photo of the issue, and only did research after I brought it in.
