I appreciate his excellence and diligence at a time where it is almost impossible to find good customer service and experiences.

When it was time for my order, I asked if they could please change their gloves because that is simply not sanitary. At the very least, gloves should be changed when moving from handling money and other surfaces to touching food. Food safety is important, and this is exactly how germs are transferred. This was my only issue with the food court, but it's a significant one.

The samples alone can turn a quick grocery run into a full-on tasting tour if you play your cards right. The gas station is also a huge win--worth the membership alone some days. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the crowds. Weekends feel like the Super Bowl of bulk shopping, and navigating the aisles can require a little patience and strategic cart driving. That said, the checkout lines usually move faster than you'd expect. All in all, Costco remains one of the few places where spending way more than you planned still somehow feels like a victory.

My hubby and I decided to obtain a Costco membership because we wanted to go to the Business Center in Stafford, TX. On Saturday, we ventured out to the location on 290 in Cypress, TX. The parking lot was extremely packed but I managed to find a spot. We went in and were directed to the membership desk. It was a madhouse in there. My first response to the customer service person(name tag was covered up) was can I use the membership card at the business center. She said yes along with all the first-time pleasantries. I let her know that we would like to get a membership and this was our first time at Costco. So she proceeds to inform us of the membership benefits then immediately goes into upgrading the membership card to business status. We were patient with her because she was indeed doing her job. We declined and I verbalized that we were just interested in the $65 Star membership. She continues to tell me that it pays for itself and we would receive money certificates and so on and so forth. Again, we decline with a smile. Then another sales clerk came and whispered to the lady we were talking to. Then she assertively asked me if she could talk to me about the upgrade to the business card and the credit card. I assertively told her to speak to my spouse. He declines. She turns to me again and I say thank you but I am only going to spend the money on the Star card. She rolled her eyes and turned her head away from us. We finally got through the transaction took the pics for the card. After all of that, we truly were drained and did not even shop the warehouse. We went to the cafe got a couple hotdog combos and left. I hope that we are pleased when we engage in the shopping experience. So long for now and thanks for lending an ear.

She mixed up some of the models (like which ones had which features), and didn't tell us about important details for our furniture set (like that it is not full leather). We were unhappy with the furniture once delivered -- sometimes you don't realize things are a bad fit until you see it in the space. For such a costly purchase, you should be satisfied. I reached out within 24 hours to see if there was anything we could do. TFH bounced me between the sales person, their customer service dept, and a store manager. They all maintained "final sale" -- no exchange/credit, restocking fees, or anything else. I get it. I was asking for an exception. However, there are many other local stores that allow grace periods to make sure that you are happy with your (expensive) investment. At TFH, it seems like satisfaction doesn't matter once they've finished the sale. If you read the fine print on your receipt, you will see strict policies around cancellations, rescheduling, etc, that make it clear they are not on your side. We wanted to seek out a local, family-owned business. Instead of getting personalized consideration and problem-solving, we got pushback about policies and profit margins. This is not a mom-and-pop shop, but a large multi-site operation. If you care about flexible, customer-oriented care, look elsewhere; there is no shortage in Houston. I hate leaving reviews like this, but I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. I'll update this review if/when I interact with them again regarding warranties, etc.

The salesperson assured me I could exchange the 54 for the bigger size if I wanted to. She acted as if this was no big deal, but it was an entire misrepresentation. I thought I may want the 60 inch, and I called. The salesperson completely changed her position on whether I could make the exchange since the item had already been delivered. This is not what she had said before, and it was the first time she mentioned anything about being unable to exchange after delivery. She didn't deny this nor did the manager. Further, the manager did not take any responsibility for her misrepresentation. He simply stated how he doesn't know what goes on on his own sales floor. We discussed the return/exchange policy, which he interpreted and tailored to his liking. To be clear, it is not the policy I have an issue with, it is being lied to and deceived about whether I could exchange the table. Not once did anyone ever deny what I was told. I ended up being happy with my table, but the misrepresentation of the salesperson and her manager's lack of responsibility are both very concerning. It is dishonesty and a lack of accountability. I rarely have conflicts in business and ask for managers even less. This was a rare exception. Don't shop here.

We went on a Saturday and she said they could deliver as early as Monday, which is unheard of at these times. We said we would look at other places and come back. We later decided we trusted her and liked her style as well as the fact that they can deliver so quickly. They delivered just as promised. They were just a little late but Zoe called early in the day to inform us of this which was greatly appreciated. Great delivery and nice gentleman. We are very pleased with our purchase and furniture. Don't go anywhere else!

About a month ago I had ordered an Ashley brand desk online. They delivered it in the manufacturer…read morebox. There were no dents or cuts in the box. Upon unpacking and putting it together I noticed there was a 1" long dent on the desk top edge. I called Cypress and they immediately delivered a new one out and picked up the damaged one. It was painless. I dealt with Zoe there. Upon her follow up phone call to make sure everything was ok. I told her everything was good. Better than good. I was impressed with their service regarding a $370 desk that I ordered an Ashley matching King size sleigh bed frame from them. A $1250 purchase. Zoe said it would be delivered within 2 weeks as they had to wait on it from Ashley. Which was the normal time frame from other companies. Promptly they delivered, set it up on the second floor and hauled the packing and boxes away. I have nothing but good to recommend Cypress Furniture.
