This is a great all-you-can-eat restaurant for those who are vegetarian or want to eat out with people with dietary restrictions. The selection is delicious and incorporates many vegetables. The food is smothered in rich sauces and the servers provided rich garlicky bread. If you are new to eating Indian cuisine, the servers can describe the contents of the food for you. The real star for me was the unlimited mango lassi. This can be a restaurant you attend casually for dinner or for larger parties, there is space for all.

Fantastic first experience! Daily buffet with a nice selection of vegetarian dishes. Fixed price includes a dosa and fresh naan brought to the table. Full friendly staff that quickly refilled glasses and removed dishes. Nice interior with pictures and statues that added to the cultural experience. I love Indian food and this place did not disappoint!

Visited on a Diwali weekend. Had to book it a weekend in advance. Got the buffet it was pretty good. They had a good variety of appetizers like soup, manchurian, dhokla, samosa, spring rolls etc. Dosas and naans were served hot on table. Had one panner sabzi and one veg korma, dal, rice, biryani. They also had many desserts like gulab jamun, gajar halwa, kaju roll, chocolate fondue with strawberries, motichoor laddoo, mango lassi and more. Overall a nice buffet but they raised prices for Diwali so it was $30 + tax + service charge mandatory which seems a bit expensive. Ambiance and interior is very dated and could be much better and modern.

Oh my goodness. Chand Palace continues to take the cake as potentially the BEST North Indian food I have ever had. It is so so good and the buffet is out of this world. It's a vegetarian's dream - you simply can't ask for more. My husband and I had a fun dinner date night here on Friday and really enjoyed our food. It was the first time we had visited since the pandemic which was definitely weird for my husband who used to frequent this spot. We enjoyed a nice tomato soup, zucchini fritters, samosas, dahi vada, and aloo puri as an appetizer. The main course included veg biryani, paneer mughlai (yum!), gobi manchurian (amazing), saag chole, dhal makhani, and pani puri - all complimented with yummy garlic naan. We also enjoyed a nice mysore masala dosai with sambar. Dessert was a delicious rasmalai. Simply delicious, so flavorful! The customer service is great and I appreciated how prompt they were in refilling all the food and waiting on us. While I unfortunately didn't take a picture of my food, I did include their new pricing structure as they emerge out of the pandemic. Price went up but I don't even mind considering how good the food and service is. Gratuity is automatically included so keep that in mind. I can't wait to come back!

Note: This place is all vegetarian! No meat! Didn't know that when I came by craving something meaty, but my friend convinced me to stay and try everything out. So the Monday evening price was a bit steep- two people ended up costing us 46$ for dinner, which is way more than I expected. The options were plenty and the flavors were subtle and authentic, compared to some places where I usually eat. I was glad to see hakka noodles and other indo-chinese inspired dishes on the food bar, along with the two dosas and basket of naan which were said to be complementary, I had plenty to go with my palak, chili paneer, and various other things! The garlic naan was the best! It was a pretty tasty, savory experience and I'm glad I tried it.

I took my friends for lunch buffet at this restaurant. What an experience! The entire buffet menu was super delicious and filling! There are several perks: unlimited dosas (four types - pictured below) and naans (made to order). I would recommend starting the feast with aloo papri chaat and then slowly dig into the real goodness. Initially, the zucchini sticks tasted like mozzarella sticks but after further investigation, it was brought to my attention that it's a vegetable. Also, there's a different beverage served every time I go and today they had mint lemonade (that I forgot to photograph), which was refreshing. The entire restaurant was packed during the buffet time (11:30 am - 2 pm). IF ANYONE GOES, PLEASE HIT ME UP. I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN Y'ALL! PS: ice cream is not served during lunch hours. But the waitress offered it upon request.

Serving the people since past 17 years, I had the best vegetarian meal here in this country so far. Usually the restaurant only offers buffet. Started off with pani puri and the pani had a strong mint flavor which really made it amazing. The other stuff in appetizer like cheese pakora, samosa, batata vada, Mysore masala Dosa, spring roll were all awesome. When moving on to their entrées, had navratan korma and baingan Ka bhartha as haven't had these two in a long time. The spices added were of the right amount and this applied to each dish of theirs. The Manchurian too was amazing whereas it combined really well with the masala rice. I really wanted to try out their kofta but only the curry was left. The dessert section was mouth watering too. Jalebi was okay, but Ras malai, Gulab jamun stood out with the latter being served hot which is a rarity here. The malai sandwich was also great. The ambience of the restaurant is great with them having a Rajasthani vibe to the place. The service was decent as they only delivered the Dosa and roti to the table, rest all was self service. Overall a great level of satisfaction after dinner with the dishes being really authentic.

We're still looking around for our go-to Indian restaurant in the area as our kids love saag/palak paneer and we used to go at least once a month where we moved from. But we finally made it! We came here on a Monday that also fell on a holiday so they had a steady amount of customers. We were the only non-Indian customers, which appears to be normal. They're located in a small strip along with 2 or 3 other businesses. Shared parking is behind the building so most people entered through the back door. It was about half full when we got there so I can see it filling up fast during crowded times. Walk through because no one is at the back but there is a small clothing rack to hang coats; the counter is at the front by the front door. We made ourselves known and were promptly seated. They serve vegetarian food and many are Swaminarayan-friendly (allium-free, which appears to be their default mode), certain can be made Jain as well! They do use alliums but overall, they seem to be able to make most of the dishes without alliums. We ordered the following, Swaminarayan-style and mild because one of my kids can do but mild food: DAHI PURI: I usually get pani puri but decided to try it out since it's been a while since I had this. It came out first as the appetizer, was a thing of beauty, and there are A LOT of flavors in there. The sweet-leaning yogurt, sev with its textural differences, the freshness of the cilantro, the spiced potatoes, the tart pomegranate seeds... My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. PALAK PANEER: This was ordered for my kids. Green gravy with tender paneer. They liked it! The curry got a little too spicy but it didn't hit them until later. My kid with the food allergies ate all the paneer when the gravy grew too spicy for him. MALAI KOFTA: This is different from the malai kofta I've had before but not in a bad way. I definitely think they use cashew "cream" in this. It's lightly sweet in a way that reminds me of cashews. The kofta are soft and I'm pretty sure are paneer based. This is probably the most mild curry we ordered, both in terms of spice and spices. This was my pick because I usually can't order malai kofta at Indian restaurants so I was pleased I could hear. MATAR METHI MALAI: I love how Indian curries are so straightforward when it comes to names. I'm not sure what to expect with this but my husband didn't know what to get so I nudged him towards this. He wanted MATAR PANEER but it's not on the menu. This is essentially fenugreek pea curry in a milky gravy. It has very interesting spices and flavor. A little more bland than the others, yet not at the same time. Must be that fenugreek! For some odd reason, it reminded me of coconut chutney I've had before. We also got ROTI for one of my kids who prefers bread over rice. All curries come with white basmati. For drinks, we got MANGO LASSI, SPRITE, and CHAAS (buttermilk). The buttermilk was different! Much more spiced than I expected. I also swear at one point I tasted a raw onion bit but it only happened once so who knows if it was mistaken blended in or it was all in my head. I do remember it was STRONG though. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at the sheer amount of choices we had. Our bill totaled to around $90 (curries are around $20, Dahi puri was $12) and we brought home some leftovers. They seem to be family run and are fairly nice and helpful. We would likely go back again to try more things, but the palak paneer isn't completely up our kids' alley to become their favorite. If you have food allergies, let them know. My youngest has multiple food allergies including to nuts and wheat. Most of their curries contains nuts EXCEPT for the palak paneer and their bhindi (okra) dish. Luckily for my kid. Despite how nuts are a common ingredient in the kitchen, my kid was completely fine during and after eating. Note: their menu says they charge gratuity for parties of 4 people or more. My husband says he didn't see it on the bill when it was time to pay. Not sure if that statement is now outdated or it only counts if there are 4+ ADULTS.

Sure I have eaten at many Indian restaurants but you have to go to one that only specializes in dosas. Shoutout to my Yelper, Johanna B., she said it is one of her most favorite things to eat. I did a search on Yelp and it lead me to Brundhavan, formally known as Indian House of Dosas. Looking at the menu, I have to admit that I was completely clueless. I had to look up quite a few of the descriptions for the different fillings. We opted to get the Masala with potatoes, onions, and carrots. The presentation had me so intrigued. Dosas are made of rice. Just eat with your hands and dip away. My favorite was the coconut one. It was so delicious. With every bite I kept saying, OMG, I LOVEEEE IT!!! YUM!!! We also ordered the Medu Vada, a savory South Indian fried doughnut made with black lentils served with chutney and sambhar. Crispy exterior and soft inside. Probably the healthiest doughnut I have ever eaten. Get it!! Please order their Masala or Irani Chai. I wanted 3 cups of it. Lol. Service was a 10/10. Super friendly and helpful. I'll start with the good: the benne dosai (which has gone viral across Bombay and now Delhi) is well done, with a nice thick, fluffy texture. I also enjoyed the filter coffee and badam milk, which I love hot but almost always find offered only cold. The Indo-Chinese items such as the paneer manchurian (dry) were also not bad. That being said, I was very disappointed with the thatte idli, which ironically was what I was most excited to order. They offer with a variety of different podi toppings, but the one we ordered had a strange aftertaste. I'm not sure if it was from the ghee or the podi, but we didn't finish the order. The chutneys and sambar are also really nothing special.
