Finding the right building can be a bit confusing, but they are labeled so that made it easier. The rooms were heated nicely, which was very pleasant given it is so cold out! The massage itself was fabulous. The tables were plush with warm blankets. They started the massage with hot steam and a sugar scrub, which is rare for massages and we definitely appreciated the additional skincare. They then went into a long stroke massage with oil and put a lot of attention to tense areas. Another great part of the massage was the use of hot stones and towels - very relaxing! A feature that I find very unique about Royal Zen's massages is their music choice. The first time my sister and I went it was classic R&B and this time it was smooth jazz. Shanice and Sheniel are experienced enough to massage to the beat of the music, which made the experience very memorable! Overall, Royal Zen is a fantastic place to get a massage! I was really pleased with the service, and the space was very clean and comfortable. My pedicure was so thorough, which was fantastic because I hadn't had one in awhile. The owner here is the nicest man and always is able to accommodate what it is you want. I always get acrylic nails with gel polish (which these days is hard to find a nice nail salon that still offers this). I always come in with different nail designs from Pinterest and he is always able to do whatever it is I want. Sometimes I cant make up my mind of what I want and then gives me a couple of popular colors and styles to try. The salon is very clean and is up to standard with covid practices. The prices are affordable. My nails stay on for 5 weeks without one nail falling off (and I clean a lot). The owner is a pleasure to talk with while your nails are getting done as well. Angel nail is definitely a hard to find gem in Rochester!
