There was a piece of furniture that I was interested in but did not have a way to take it home at the time. As I got home and thought about it, I decided to call the next day for dimensions and an assurance that they would be open before driving over an hour to look at the piece again. I tried two different numbers on the website and both were out of service. I actually called the restaurant who said they would give the person there my number to call me back because I had questions about a $250 piece of furniture. I never received a call. Hence I have not been back. Businesses need to have workable phone numbers or at least a way to contact them by email.

There are two floors of antiques, but the second floor is mainly vintage clothing. On the first floor are primitive antiques, vintage kitchen items, a lot of knickknacks and other assorted treasures. There are also some primitives outside. Yesterday, the clerks were a little preoccupied adjusting merchandise. The shop was cool even though it was 95 outside. We carried our little dog inside because of the heat. The aisles are tight in some parts of the store and there are a lot of nooks and crannies filled with antiques. Many of the booths were offering up to 50% off sales. There is plenty of parking out front. I'm guessing the building is not fully ADA accessible due to stairs and tight corners.

But over in the corner are stairs that lead to the main shop which is larger than anticipated and pretty full without looking crowded. The booths are well-maintained and tidy. The offerings at Princeton Antique Mall is impressive, with something for everyone. The owners are super nice, really helpful, and will work with you on price. Because my wife and I are sellers, I'd ask that anyone shopping for antiques please keep in mind the fact no one will sell you something that is, for example, reasonably priced at $100.00 retail for $10.00; thus if you don't know the market on an item don't be angry if a dealer doesn't give their merchandise away. But the prices at Princeton Antique Mall are fair and the quality is excellent. Plus, they won't misrepresent items to a buyer. I highly recommend this antique mall.

Just don't expect to find anything. And I certainly would NOT drive out of my way to come here. This is one of those places where you can't see the trees for the forest, if you will. If you love digging in places like that, then bring leather gloves (he has them for sale at $1.50/pair) and be up to date on your tetanus shot. Even still, almost all of it is junk. I've been here several times and have yet to see one thing I'm interested in enough to even pick up, let alone buy. His prices are a bit high on the junk too. I give it 2 stars because the owner is a sweet older man who loves to chat with you and does his best to help you find stuff if you are willing to dig a little.
