I love talking to all of the artisans and my friend and I enjoyed seeing some of the "attractions", like a sheep shearing demonstration. This is one of the very unique Vermont traditions that I'm glad to have experienced during the two years I am living here. If you're interested, they also have some on-site workshops for attendees. I have not participated in one so I can't review them. They also have limited concessions available (Hot Dogs, Flatbread, and Coffee/Hot Chocolate, etc.). Overall, I had a very nice day there and is definitely one of the events that makes Vermont truly unique.

The Hanover Improvement Society helps fund the theater, as well as the Storrs Pond Recreation Area and the Campion Ice Rink. Yes, it is older and the old-style seats done recline, but if that's the best criticism of the place, it is a superb establishment. The Nugget is cozy, with a fairly good sound system in all its different cinemas. We just saw Wicked here, well attended with a good number of college students and older folk.
