Stopped in to catch some of the NFL playoff games. With the windows painted over with black, from the outside they looked like they were closed with the lights off. Going through the double set of door opens up to a lively well lit bar/restaurant. Found a spot at the bar and was quickly introduced to the two friendly bartenders. The server took our order and had drinks on the table promptly. Chipotle Chicken Salad was the special ofnthe day. It was absolutely delicious. The floors were clean. The restaurant gives off clean vibes. The location is the corner of a strip mall. There is plenty of parking...you might have to walk further than you like but you can count on good food. Despite being ravenously hungry, I could only manage half of it before the overwhelming greasiness and unpleasant flavor forced me to stop. The secretary meat itself seemed of poor quality, and the overall construction of the burger was sloppy. The final nail in the coffin was the accompanying blue cheese and celery. Proper food safety protocols dictate that cold items should be served cold, and this was a glaring failure, especially in a takeout order where temperature control is crucial. The celery was not chilled, and the blue cheese was served warm, a significant temperature control violation. This lack of attention to basic food safety standards is deeply concerning and raises serious questions about the restaurant's overall hygiene practices, particularly concerning how they handle takeout items. While I can't comment on the dine-in environment of Chandler's Burger Bistro, the takeout experience was an utter failure. The stark contrast between the positive online reviews and my own experience is baffling. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning to Chandler's Burger Bistro, especially for takeout. This experience was not only unpleasant but also concerning from a food safety standpoint. Our food and our server was good, but after being there for about an hour and a half a different older woman who was not our server came over to our table and started clearing our stuff while we were there which was fine but then she kept kind of eyeballing us every time she walked past us then finally she came up to us and asked us when we planned on leaving because she wanted to seat someone else. came here with some friends to watch the Bengals game and I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice the service was and how quick it was. there was nothing absolutely wild about my experience it was a pretty normal bar and Grill / Burger joint that had really good wings and they were not unreasonably priced! Food was good! Service was good! The waitress we had was very nice! However, I was visiting my best friend who I never see since moving to California so we were catching up. When we first came in at 4pm the restaurant was not busy at all and there were no 2 tops available so we sat at a table for 6 people. At 5:30pm an older woman with brown hair took our empty plates out of the way and I noticed she kept staring at our table after that. At 6pm she came over and asked us how much longer we were going to be there for because she had a table coming in. She just kept standing there and my friend and I felt obligated to leave so we left. She did not offer another table for us to move to or tell us we could move to the bar. I understand she wanted the six top because it was probably her section but as someone who has previously worked in the service industry as a waitress for over five years, I know that asking a table how much longer they will be without offering a table for them to move to is frowned upon. It's hard to tell what's going on here from the outside because of the dark mirrors and it's back in a strip shopping center but it's really nice inside. Plenty of TVs and seems like a fun place to watch a sporting event. The wait staff was friendly and very quick with drinks, food delivery, and check ins. We ordered one of their signature burgers and a spicy chicken wrap. Both came with side of what looked like fresh cut fries. The fries were nice and crispy and well seasoned. I had the wrap and it was a delicious mix of toppings with good chicken (some places use rubbery chicken lol) and a spicy buffalo sauce to blend it all together. Driving back to Cinci from Indianapolis, I got hungry around lunchtime and sought a good burger place. Enter the Chandler's Burger Bistro in Harrison, Ohio. Stopped in and wasn't sure what to think of the site itself, but the staff was nice and prompt with service. I opted to get their double burger with fries and was pleasantly surprised by a truly gigantic burger that was fresh and very tasty. The fries were good, although maybe a third of the order was a smite overcooked and the 'meat' of the potato had lost its appeal. Doing large batch frying as required at a restaurant like this, such things happen from time to time. The great burger outweighed some overdone fries in my opinion by far. Chandler's has been a nice addition to the restaurant offerings in Harrison, OH. It's so popular, in fact, that you may have to wait for a table. Once seated, however, service is usually quite fast. Chandler's is mainly a burger joint, but they also offer a big selection of appetizers, some salads, and other sandwiches options such as a BLT. I highly recommend the onion rings! They are delicious and just the right size to share. The burgers are good but sometimes I find that the toppings are a little too heavy. Next time, I think I'll try a plain burger or maybe one of the other non-burger selections. It would be nice if there were more choices for a side besides fries or chips, though for $1.99 extra you can substitute for a salad. Chandler's also offers a full bar and TVs, so if you're just wanting to have a drink and relax, this is the place for you. read more

Love the menu, because there are two vegetarian patty options, and they'll sub any burger for a veg patty, huge win because a lot of places don't even offer a veggie patty. Server was really nice and efficient, given it appeared like everywhere else they were short staffed. Food took a long time to come out which is why I gave it 4 stars not five, I guess the kitchen is struggling with staffing too, again like everywhere else. Food was just as good as I remember it, so worth the wait! Really good prices too, one of the few places that hasn't really jacked up prices. Was there on a Friday with a total party of 4. Luckily no wait for a table. We ordered the queso dip as an appetizer. The dip was good, but there were hardly any chips with it! I ordered a bleu cheeseburger. It arrived with about 5 small crumbles of bleu cheese, so little that I could barely taste the bleu cheese. It was served on a smushed bun and with a very small side of fries. I was disappointed in the serving size, and was hungry afterwards. Chandler's is your typical sports bar with bar food, burgers, and a few additional food items if deep fried appetizers or burgers aren't what you're looking for. This particular location always has a GREAT beer selection, which I appreciate, and the beers are ice cold. The crowd at Chandler's is hit or miss - either EXTREMELY busy with a super long wait for a table, or, very few people in there and you can be sat immediately. Service is always great, never any issues there! My favorite appetizer would be the macaroni gouda bites - so so so good (deep fried & breaded mac n' cheese). There are so many burger options so you're bound to find one that you like (and they are all named after Cincinnati things - very clever!). My boyfriend tried the cheeseburger / grilled cheese meal (a burger between two grilled cheeses); he said it was just alright and would probably go back to a standard burger next time. First time there was last night. Wait was about 20 minutes which is not bad for a Friday night. We got seated and server greeted us right away. She was friendly and fast. We ordered an app, the loaded fries. They were delicious. Crisp waffle fries piled high with cheese and bacon pieces. For entrees I got wings and the hubby got a burger, the Nati Melt. Wings were crispy and smothered with sauce. I chose garlic Parmesan. Hubby's burger was amazing; juicy burger topped with American cheese and bacon with two grilled cheese sandwiches for the bun. Portions are decent sized - neither of us could finish our food. Needless to say we will defiantly be back. I added the photos I didn't take. Waitress had an attitude from the beginning even after we said hi and happy st patricks day, and we were not felt welcomed at all. Food runner slammed our food on the table. Salad was missing an ingredient that is listed on the menu. Saurkraut balls under fried and cool in the middle. Waitress never checked refills or checked if everything was OK, or drop off the bill and then rudely came to the bar to grab the ticket from the bartender who was ringing me out. I refused to let her do it and continued cashing out. Bartender then tells me my card was declined and I dig another one out. Bartender returns and tells me "oh it was our machine acting up again".
