If you're from OUT OF STATE, I would NOT recommend coming here. My boyfriend and I were visiting Ohio to see friends and family, as I previously lived here and had heard great things about this place. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. When we showed our IDs, my boyfriend was denied service because his North Carolina state ID was vertical and the bartender claimed "something didn't look right." It was a valid, real ID, and we are both over the age of 21. We asked him to scan it and he said "I'm not scanning that" I understand that establishments may have guidelines or may not be familiar with out-of-state IDs. However, the way the situation was handled was completely unnecessary. Not only were we refused service, but the manager was extremely rude about it. There was no willingness to consider that the ID might be legitimate or to handle the situation respectfully. If they were unsure, this could have been handled much more professionally by simply explaining that they weren't familiar with the ID and therefore couldn't serve alcohol due to their policies. A polite explanation and apology for the inconvenience would have gone a long way. Instead, we were made to feel dismissed and disrespected. (In the middle of a snow storm btw) So us and the rest of our group had to leave. The way "young" adults are treated I guess... This has never happened as we do travel a lot. Please review your guidelines again or update them and educate yourselves on out of state ids. Very disappointing experience, especially for a place that came highly recommended. read more

I'm from out of town so we came here after being inundated with too any crowds and noise elsewhere on Halloween weekend. It was not super packed (yet) so we grabbed a seat by the bar. We ordered drinks which were pretty decent. Since we were hungry, we also ordered food. My partner and I love to order fried pickles at restaurants we venture to and they had them so we ordered it as a starter. We loved it! It was lighter on the batter side, which we like and crispy too. It was served with ranch dressing. Lastly, we both ordered burgers. He had a plain burger with bacon and a side of fries and I had a frisco burger with tater tots. This was hands down the BEST frisco burger I've ever had in my entire life! Hubby & I went here for Cincy Burger Week. We decided to sit on the patio because it was pretty loud inside & the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. A server came out within a few minutes & took our drink order. I ordered the Poutine burger which was the Cincy Burger $7 special. Hubby got the single cheeseburger with one side ($10) - he chose onion rings. Our food came out in a timely manner but the server neglected to supply napkins or condiments. We went inside to get what we needed. Our burgers were average - not bad but not on my top 10 list either. We enjoyed petting the two Labradoodles on the patio while waiting for our food. I don't leave reviews often, but I'd give negative stars if I could. Sat with my friends from home for the holidays. 15 minutes before we got service. It's wasn't busy, but it was an issue. When someone finally came, everyone with an out of state ID was denied service. They even said someone's was fake, and attempted to break their ID (we're 26, and all in grad programs, who need to get ID's in our new states for in-state tuition). TLDR: long wait to get service, then refused service bc they don't know out of state ID's and they were disrespectful about it. Also, most of my group was various types of brown, (biracial, Indian), and wasn't sure if there was a component of that as well. We left and went to Liberty Inn down the road. read more

Great little "hole in the wall" type place. The food is always really good and you you've got a pretty good choice of items for a sports bar. The Reuben egg rolls and buffalo chicken fries are probably my favorite apps. The burgers are good and the wings are great, plenty of sauce options too! Decent beer selection, always a few good craft beers to go along with your normal choices. Alcohol selection is better than expected (especially Bourbon). A few people were there having drinks when we arrived and a few came in for dinner after we got there....all to say they weren't slammed. We got drinks and our order taken quickly but then a very long wait for sandwiches. When I saw a few folks that came in after getting food, I asked about our order and was told that there is only one cook. Weirdly our food came out right after I asked and the food wasn't very hot. Peanut butter on your burger is awesome. We made a special stop in here during burger week because they offered the peanut butter bacon burger. Checked this place out as the first stop for Burger Week. I like that they're offering their burger special as takeout so they get a star for that. The burger itself was good and traveled well so the other 2 stars come from that. The knock down comes from service because I went in for a takeout order and while I asked them to put the order in 20 min after I called if possible, they didn't put it in until I arrived. I ordered takeout because I wanted to get in and out. Especially when I got in and there wasn't a person wearing a mask in sight. I know it's a bar/restaurant, but not what I've seen in other similar establishments. Once they put my order in, they didn't ask if I wanted anything while I waited (what bar doesn't try to sell you a drink?) so I just hung out for about 15 min. I've been to quite a few bars and pubs over the years. In my neighborhood and around the world. The Draft is by far one of the worst. It's not that it's dirty or disgusting, in fact, in that regards its not so bad. It just sucks in every other possible way. This is not based on one visit. This is based on several visits, at different times, on different days. First off, drinks. Yes they have beer, wine and other drinks. In that department they're fine. Prices, not bad. Unfortunately that's where the good part of my review stops. The food, not great. I've tried a few things here and there and I've never been impressed. Very substandard garbage. The service, also not great. Now, I've had better luck going up to the bar. I have noticed that there's a few guys who work behind the bar that are pretty good and attentive. Solid bar tenders. In fact, the table service is so bad, I've had to go to the bar more often when I'm sitting at a table or booth because we can't get a server to come back to our table. Not only have some of the servers proved themselves to be less than worthless, there is no regard for their lack of service when it is pointed out or brought to their attention. Some of the worst I've seen. If you go there earlier in the day or around dinner time, maybe just before dinner time, you will find families and kids. Not a bad atmosphere. They're eating crap food, but at least they're not assholes. But after that, the red carpet is rolled out for the douchebags and its nothing but trouble. I've had some pretty interesting experiences with some of the dirt bags that come into this bar. Would I go back? Let's just say that I'm pretty sure the last time I was there will remain to be the last time. I have no interest in going back. We have a handful of choices in our area for local bars. Many of them are so much better than this place. I honestly have a hard time finding why this place stays in business. There is no draw to it. I can go down the street to Putter's, with no problem. Sometimes the service might be a little lacking there, but it's typically because they're always busy. Plus, they actually have good food. I went here on the way home recently to try it for myself. I had heard mixed reviews when it opened so I wanted to wait until the kinks were worked out. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. We were a large group of kids and adults and we made the last few minutes of happy hour. The staff was very friendly and the happy hour specials are fantastic and abundant. Since it was Thursday, the daily special was liquor pitchers for five bucks. The draft beer selection is very good and the menu is your typical bar food. I chose the burger and it was tasty and grilled nicely. They brought it out with all the fixings and fries for a great process too. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars was the fact that the server was not attentive as he could have been. Separate from her, I had tried this place on weekends and only during the day. My experience is that the food is at best mediocre. Yes, average. It cannot compete with the other local Sports bar restaurants with a similar business model, not for food quality. Cold soup and cold chili are the norm, cold as in barely warm, even when sent back more than once. There are no male bartenders there so my observation is that there is a pattern of the same female employees looking unkempt and unacceptable for going to work. We stopped in on a random Tuesday night and we love their loaded tots but decided to get the tacos that were on special. Well let me tell you, they were delicious! We have lived in the area for a long tine and have been coming to the Draft for years. There have been ups and downs. They have decent food under the new ownership. Though more often than not they don't have table service which is terrible for a place that is a bar and promotes their new menu and food / chef partnership. Most times you have to go the bar and order your food after about 7pm. Tonight was terrible. The food was good once we got to order. However the one waitress seemed more preoccupied with having shots (at least three lemon drops) with a table in the middle of the room. Before we could order. May be r t he last time I go back.
