My mom and I both had several questions and concerns, but I did not feel that they were addressed with much compassion or explanation. I was especially concerned about the bone marrow procedure because of my mom's age and how fragile her bones are, but the procedure and what we could expect were not really explained to us in a way that helped ease my concerns. My mom also mentioned that she had recently started experiencing pain throughout her body. Instead of asking more questions about this new symptom, Dr. Latif initially said that she was already on pain medication and that it wouldn't make a difference. I had to explain that this was a new issue and that my mom wanted to know what she could safely take for the pain. He initially suggested Motrin. However, when my mom was hospitalized, another physician had advised me not to let her take Motrin for an extended period because of concerns about bleeding and her low hemoglobin. After I brought this up, Dr. Latif then advised her to try Tylenol first and Motrin if that did not help. What bothered me most was that I did not feel there was enough follow-up when my mom described what she was experiencing. I wanted her concerns to be listened to, questions to be asked, and guidance to be given--especially considering her age and medical situation. Instead, I left feeling as though our concerns had not really been heard. I was also disappointed that the office did not have all of my mom's lab results available before our appointment and asked us whether she had completed the labs. We travel a significant distance for these appointments. I feel the office should verify that the necessary results have been received before the patient arrives, particularly when those results are important to the visit. Had we not been able to provide the information, we could have made the long trip unnecessarily. Overall, I am very unhappy with my experience with both the office and physician. We came to the appointment looking for medical guidance, explanations, and reassurance. Unfortunately, I left feeling that my mom's concerns were not fully listened to or addressed.

Dr Agarwal has been my oncologist since June of 2020 and still see her for routine visits till now…read more She doesn't talk much care but doesn't speak much so I highly suggest before seeing her to have your questions written down just to feel better when you leave her clinic. Very clean clinic and experienced Doctor. Always one step ahead in referrals which is good because we do forget our appointments so it's good to know she cares. I highly recommend her

She took zero stock of what I related…read moreto her as a high risk diabetic with need of continuity of care from a podiatrist who had treated me since an amputation and subsequent pervasive problems. She not only did not honor the request (after me clearing with insurance that the provider was in network which is why they assigned me to Agarwal) she assigns me to a provider in Huntington Beach from her very local office in Pomona after explaining both the request for continuity of care, and the need for a local provider. She bumbled my medication. Her office subsequently ignored several calls and a follow up visit was not available for me for three months. All with knowledge that I was a high risk diabetic with ongoing bilateral ulcers. At that follow up appointment she tells me she is retiring as a doctor and she would not fulfill any referrals for podiatry, or any other request. She is a calculated liar, as I called their office and asked when her last day as a doctor was to send her a card, the receptionist stated "she only retired from medi-cal patients" She is callus and unethical in her approach to a profession with care and compassion as core principles. Terrible doctor, would never recommend a cancer patient go see this doctor who could care less for another human being. In my experience and opinion that is.

So far the experience has been fairly decent. The office is very clean, spacious and organized. The PAC made a mistake of not writing orders that I could reschedule an appointment sooner than my follow-up of 3 months, therefore when I requested one at the front they denied it, twice. Couple weeks later, I ended up calling 911 due to shortness of breath, weakness, persistent daily fatigue, and needing about half gallon of blood drawn from my body every 4-6 months to lower my UNSAFE high red blood cell count -Hematocrit, Red Blood Cell, Hemoglobin. To prevent blood clots, heart attack, stroke, or long term blood cancer (Leukemia), etc... Fortunately, my insurance only bills about $4000 for the ER. If it was $800K USD, Medicare could go broke by 2030, then no more Medicare for anyone. =)

I'm 78 and have dealt with a lot of Drs over my years, but I have NEVER faced a bully before. This man truly has a god complex. He has recently started practicing in San Luis, but in researching him, I see that he has practiced in many locations over the years . Average rating 2. I met with him twice. He was rude and dismissive and actually started yelling at me "it's not my job" when I asked if he had any suggestions on what to do next. Under no circumstances should your physician yell at you. In conclusion, if you have a choice, choose another DR.

I had a bad experience this morning that gave me a bad taste in my mouth concerning this business…read more(Advance Oncology Center) in West Covina, Ca. As we arrived to take my 91 yr old mother to her appointment, having 16 daily total appointments, apparently one of the male workers explained that we have been late everyday for the past week since we started taking my mother and they been accommodating us, which is untrue and unfounded. They have not been accommodating us, in fact we are the ones waiting to be called when arriving early. I explained we haven't been late as the appointment was at 10:45am and not 10:00am as he stated. The worker stated he wouldn't be able to see my mother today since we were late and had other patients. After review of the print out of all 16 appointments, today appointment was in fact at 10:00am as the worker said but every other appointment was at 10:45am. Now sharing rides among 3 of my siblings, we have been sharing, taking my mother to her appointments. Some coming from different areas Covina, Glendora, and Pasadena not knowing traffic and to be late, didn't feel we should have been treated and scolded when we been there on time. I felt if we need to wait, when we're early for appointments, sometimes over 30 minutes, a few minutes shouldn't be an issue. I sure hope they have the same schedule as given. Maybe practice on better service skills and review the schedule times, before assuming we are late numerous of times.

I've called 20+ times this week to have the login to their "online portal" sent to me, as they can't send results privately on email or on a call like many other facilities can. I was told multiple times that an email was sent with login info (it never was); and then that their IT department wasn't responding. I asked for a call back on Tuesday, and had to call them repeatedly to no avail. I'm on the phone with their IT team now, and my email address was entered so incorrectly that a butcher would be offended. Plus, I've just found out that today (Friday) is the FIRST TIME they've received a call in regards to my results. I've asked to speak to my doctor several times, and have been offered call-backs without ever receiving them. And on my most recent call, I was told they didn't take enough blood and I now need to come back in to get my FULL results. Unacceptable. If you are thinking of switching doctors, I would recommend looking anywhere else that you possibly could. This place should be shut down.
