What can I say about this place - it's your basic pizza joint - SUPER BASIC AND NO FRILLS - seems this place has been around since forever and has continued to stay relevant for the late-night-munchies college kids. Traveling solo, I was staying next door to (shares the same parking lot with) the Fairfield Inn right off Richmond and Bypass Roads. Arrived and checked in late in the evening and once I was settled into my room, was too lazy to head out again into the cold Winter night to find a place to eat. This pizza joint was the easy, no-hassle option to call over for a carry-out pie and can of soda. My whole order was like $13 and was ready in like 15 minutes. Couldn't really ask for more than that. The worker manning the register was pleasant and friendly. The place inside is totally nothing to write home about - this place is basically a carry out and delivery operation so don't expect even an adequate sit down, dine in area. But it's fine for what it is. The pizza itself was pretty darn good for a $10 10" pie - perfect for 1. It was piping hot out of the oven, toppings were fresh and plentiful (no skimping on topping portions - see my pic), cheese was gooey, melty and stringy, hand tossed crust was chewy just-so. Guy supplied me with plates, plastic utensils, napkins and condiment packets (you have to ask for them). I was back in my hotel room in a flash. Couldn't ask for any more. Would I seek this place out if I wasn't staying steps away at the Fairfield Inn? No I would not. Sorry - truth. But if you're staying at the Fairfield and you're looking for a decent meal that's fast and cheap and conveniently located, go here. Prices are reasonable for what you get so as a student looking for a delivery meal deal, this is probably a good choice as well. Deserving of an average joe-blow 3 stars. Aparantly I am smart enough to enter my credit card correctly ..but nothing about my online order was corect includig my address. The pizza was more mediocre than a $3.00 from the grocery store. When I called to why it was late they apparently found the correct address without further prompt and delivered to the correct address late and innedible. The most important was the rudeness of the ??? manager who yelled at me in front of my grandchild who wanted the pizza. It was the most misrebal food experience to date... I ordered a pizza and cheese bread online for pickup. The food was ready when I arrived. The inside doesn't contain any tables or utensils, napkins etc. you can only get food to go or delivery. As it is only a takeaway place, can't comment on atmosphere other than it could use a facelift maybe at the entry? However, I was craving a chicken parm sandwich and it was very good. The bread was fresh and the chicken wasn't skimpy. Could have used a wee bit more sauce - but hit the spot for lunch. Satisfied my hunger but wasn't delicious! We ordered a few regular pizzas, a gluten free pizza, garlic knots, and two orders of wings. We got two pepperoni and two cheese pizza and for the gluten free, we went with the chicken supreme. For the wings, we did hot wings and lemon pepper. Neither had enough sauce or flavor. The gluten free pizza and the garlic knots were delicious but the regular pizzas and wings were not good. I absolutely LOVE Chanello's, and this particular spot is a spot that I always have to stop by when we're in the area! The local chain offers various pzizza, subs, appetizers and wings, salads, desserts, and even GF options.  I am totally OBSESSED with their Cheesebread - it's their famous pizza crust, baked with garlic butter and cheese - think of it like cheesy garlic bread, but in a round pizza form; it is served with marinara and Chanello's dip, but I recommend in getting their garlic dip instead! The Cheesebread can get a little greasy from the cheese, but it's all good!  It is definitely super cheesy, and the crust is so soft and fluffy; it has that nice slight crisp exterior, too!  The thick and creamy garlic dip is such a great complement.  My mouth is literally drooling just thinking of it! Service here can be a hit-or-miss - some of the employees can be super stingy with the sauces and the dips, even after you have paid extra for them! Also, it should be made clear of how many sauces/dips you would get with each size of the pizza or the cheesebread. This is a carry-out/delivery only; waiting about 10-15 minutes guarantees in a piping hot, unbelievably fresh pie - yum! This pizza place is pick-up & go, no seating at all! So, if you're expecting to eat-in, change your plans. I called in my order (had a coupon) and hour before I went to pick it up. It was a Saturday evening, so I wasn't surprised that there was a bit more of a wait when I arrived. I had ordered 2 pizzas and both were extra tasty with quality ingredients. So why all the negative reviews? This Chanellos Pizza is the finest fast food pizza in the area. The quality and consistency of the pizza is always high, it comes out pretty fast and hot, and is always delicious with plenty b of fresh toppings. Much better than most of the fast food chains in Williamsburg. The staff is friendly and patient, and the drivers are cordial and quick. Always get quality service and the garlic knots are delicious too. The restaurant is clean and typical for fast food in the area. Easy access with plenty of parking. The place has the warm of a family run place. Kim was very kind and took our order without any rush and immediately told us how long it was going to be. The order came pretty quickly (just as Kim said) and it was hot, like just made hot. It had a great amount of sausage and they serve the garlic knots in an aluminum plate with lid, which made it easier to take leftovers home. They serve the pizza and knots with Marinara sauce and Ranch (odd for me, but I'm from PR, maybe is something Virginians do) The taste was great and the pizza was on point not soggy but not too crisp; not a lot of sauce, just the exact amount of everything. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We waited almost an hour for 3 cheesesteaks and an order of wings. After waiting that long we were missing the wings. Not to mention it was expensive to begin with. So I call and asked them what happened and the manager was very defensive. He had an attitude asking if I wanted a refund for the wings. No!
