Only open a week so we had to try. Downside: only takeout. Both sandwiches were good size. However... My bagel with lox was so overloaded with cream cheese that it was all you could taste. My wife ordered the egg salad on challah bread. She got plain white toast. Egg salad was bland and needed seasoning. Was hopeful, but maybe after a few weeks things will improve.

Just a Deli without any dine in options. Order and go. Hubby got the lox bagel (everything) while I got the egg salad on toasted bread. Fast counter service. It's a very small Deli, so as customers filtered in I found myself squished. We brought our meals back and we were not impressed because the bread was supposed to be Challah but it tasted like toasted white bread. A generous amount of lettuce but the egg salad was not seasoned. Hubby's meal was a small amount of lox and lots of cream cheese so the ratio was off. Again no seasoning. This Deli has been opened for two weeks as of my review. They are open from 10 am-4 pm seven days a week. Doubt we will return. Parking is a lot that serves multiple restaurants and shops in Merchants Square. Got lucky when we found one spot.

It's the size of my hand--I have big hands.

We had the Reuben and the turkey club. Both were very tasty. There was no line so we got our sandwiches in less than five minutes.

Food was mediocre. Bagels were basic like what you get at the grocery store. Scones were horribly dry. The cookies were good.

Such great food. The sandwiches don't hold back on meat. By far the best bagels. Love this place!

Sandwich was mediocre at best. The people that worked there seemed pretty stupid. No customer service.

There is parking right next to the building or a pay to park parking lot across the street. The first two hours in the lot are free. ***EXPERIENCE*** We ordered the lychee oolong tea and the matcha milk tea with crystal boba and mango. My lychee oolong tea tasted just like fresh lychee! I will say it's brewed on the stronger side, so was a bit more bitter than I was hoping, but it was really refreshing. This is a wonderful spot to get some work done. They have strong wifi and lots of outlets. I appreciate the natural lighting in this space. ***PRICE*** Depending on what type and size of drink you get, prices range from $5-8. ***BATHROOM*** This spot shares a bigger building with other businesses. There isn't a bathroom in the actual Secret Garden space, but if you exit through their bigger building, you can find Women and Men restrooms not too far away. There are a few stalls in the Womens. ***CONCLUSION*** There is an extensive list of things you can order here! There is something for everyone. It's a great spot to meet up with a friend and get some work done.

It looked to have a good vibe, but once we walked in, we realized it was a coffee shop that served food. You have to get in line grab a menu and place your order. Any coffee, water or juice juices are delivered on the right side of the bar and the food is delivered on the left side of the bar. And what I mean delivered that's where you have to go to pick it up. The food is served on Small paper plates so you will lose some of your food as you try to cut or move it.. I ordered the breakfast platter which was scrambled eggs, choice of meat, potatoes, and toaste. My partner had the cheese omelette with sourdough toast. There was nothing special or extraordinary about the food. With the small paper plates that they use food easily fell onto the table top. They don't offer water in a cup, but rather you can buy a bottle of water. If you didn't realize that after you ordered, you have to go back and get in line so that you purchase your water. (We assumed they had water/cups to use). We left felling unsatisfied.

So much to love about this new discovery besides the fact that it's NOT a Starbucks lol and for those that know me, you know I love and love to support and discover tucked away indie coffee places (see my reviews!). This place is also a roastery and sells their own bean blends. I don't know the history behind the shop and name but was told it is chemistry themed and owned by W&M alum - yassssss! Service is SUPER friendly and excellent so that's a bonus! I lovvvvvvve that the latte menu is chock full of super creative seasonal flavors - so many to choose from!! I stopped by twice while in town and staying just down the street. Had a hot Rose Macaron latte and the next day had the Lemon Bar. Both were DELICIOUS. NOT OVERLY SWEET BUT WITH SUBTLE FLAVORS AND BOLD ESPRESSO TASTE. NOTTTTTT WIMPY WEAK. Both days I had the OG Bacon Egg Cheese sando on an ET bagel that was a decent accompaniment to my seasonal lattes which were clearly the stars of the show. I was there during the week - once mid afternoon, the other day late morning and it was not crowded at all both days. The seating area is HUGE. 2 separate adjacent rooms - walk through the front ordering area and you'll find a large, super cozy and inviting "living room" type space with comfy couches, armchairs, dining tables with chairs and even cubes for studying. Dark and moody vibes. SUPER COZY, RELAXING AND KEPT VERY CLEAN AND TIDY. The other seating area has a bunch of tables and chairs, lots of windows, brighter and more conducive for gathering. I took and posted a bunch of pics and some vids so check them out. So glad to have discovered this coffee spot and gem! Will definitely be back when I visit Williamsburg again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
