This is a hidden gem! Needed a facial desperately, but I really prefer natural products, so I've been looking for a while (new to the area). I read about Changes and thought I'd take a chance. Well, I was skeptical at first because it's in a strip mall (bougie much? -- ha ha); however, I knew I found my new facial "home" the moment I walked in. The entrance is very beautiful, peaceful, and well... spa like (see pix). But even before I walked in, I was impressed by the support staff. It was easy to make an appointment, and she was really nice and accommodating. My aesthetician was Amanda. She was personable and friendly. I felt I had a proper and thorough facial for sure (I've had 50+ over the years). The extractions were a bit rough (more painful than I have ever experienced), but it had been almost a year since a proper facial... so I was in bad shape. After that, I received the most wonderful message while my mask did its thing. It was so perfect, I almost drifted off to sleep 3 times! I have NEVER done that before (not even once). Usually, I can't sleep if someone is touching me. When done, my face looked and felt wonderful. They also do massages. I may have to check that out as well. I've already booked my next facial. I love Amanda for brows and waxing. I have had Dysport injections as well and they have been great. Nail services are very mediocre - no spa atmosphere. When I tell you this is the most relaxing spa I been to, I am not kidding. You are greeted by one of the sweetest lady's(I believe the owner) either way she was very nice. And when you get in to the spa the atmosphere is so relaxing!! Everything was super simple to order,can be done online. I had a facial done by Megan and let me tell you, it was AMAZING!! She was super friendly and if I had any questions she answered them. All the products she used did not irritate my skin. This was my second time to Changes this year. I came in for a detox foot bath to draw all the toxins out of my body. It was an interesting experience, though not relaxing at all. Although, I'm not sure if it is meant to be soothing. The attendant was doing multiple jobs at once so I really didn't feel like I was getting an individualized experience. She was in and out the room several times. The chair was also very uncomfortable. I recommend getting some sort of reclining chair or anything more comfortable than a doctor's office chair. Despite all that I believe the treatment did what it said it would do. My water was clear when we started and colored by the end. My previous visit was an aromatherapy wrap. That was awesome! My attendant, Cheryl, was very professional and took her time explaining the aroma choices and how she was going to wrap me as she began. After the wrap the massage was absolutely delightfully painful. She massaged all the knots out of my muscles while I was smelling the aromatherapy treatment. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment, but allowed me relaxation time. As I'm writing this I'm thinking about calling to get another massage by her. read more

Had a facial recently and esthetician had on latex gloves the entire time. I've never experienced this and found the experience like having rubber rubbed all over my face. This was not a pleasant experience and I will not go back there for a facial. Not sure if all of their esthetician's do this or not. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Will not be going back. I purchased a gift certificate for my wife for our anniversary. First of all when i called to schedule an appt. for her I was informed that if she was not able to make it I would forfeit the gift certificate, which is understandable w/o 24 hrs notice. BUT when the day came for the appt. they called my wife and rescheduled w/o 24 hrs notice.. Weird right? The gift certificate was for a Spa Pedicure+Gel but the treatment my wife received was far from "Spa". The foot soak was not performed in an actual foot bath, she did not receive gel on her nails (but somehow paid an extra $5 for the manicure), she did not have her feet scrubbed or massaged in any way. I am new to this area and was looking for a nice spa. Changes was tucked into a corner in a small strip mall. Rather unpretentious. But, oh my, once inside you realize this is a very nice place. I had a hot stone massage that was one of the best I have ever had - and I have had many, in many different locations. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. It is also great because they offer a full array of services, including medical spa procedures, which means it can be a one stop spa shop. Now I don't have to go looking any more. read more

My husband bought me a message and mani pedi to Changes. My first time ever going to a day spa. I was a little bit nervous going because when he messages me he hurts me. But Cheryl, I think was her name, didn't hurt me one bit. I was amazed. I didn't even want to leave. I was tempted to pay for another hour but he would have killed me. I loved it and plan to send him and go back myself. But with the mani pedi, $50 is just a little high for something I could have done myself and got somewhere else done better.
