Enter Jennifer Ericksen. Don't be fooled by her website, which is admittedly cluttered and woefully outdated with photos of 80's stylings. Jennifer is definitely current on the trends and she can replicate a look almost flawlessly. I looked throughout the Triangle for a stylist who would travel to my Virginia wedding and do make-up AND hair (different styles for everyone!) for 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 1 grandma, and me at an affordable rate. Jennifer definitely met those requirements and my expectations. She was on-site and ready to go and kept close to the schedule; she got a little delayed with the last two appointments, but those included my flustered mother-in-law and my equally flustered grandmother, so I can understand why! When I met with Jennifer for a trial, she put Mom and me at ease with friendly chit-chat and she checked in for feedback as we went through each step of the makeover. Her calm and positive energy didn't waver on the big day and I really think her unfailing patience under pressure made her one of the more outstanding vendors I worked with. They were easy to communicate with and very responsive. Ali was even responding to emails just a few days before having her baby, setting up trials and making sure all was going well. For our wedding, these three ladies came to our hotel and took fabulous care of us. They were flexible when a couple of our bridesmaids wanted to add lashes day of and they looked fabulous. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup but Ali set me at ease making sure that I looked natural and "like myself" while also highlighting some features so I could be "camera ready." She gave tips along the way and the make-up lasted all night without showing signs of happy tears, kisses and lots of hugs. Andrea Boyer did hair and she, too, was incredible.
