The atmosphere is very warm and inviting with seating inside and out, and my server was outstanding. Unfortunately the good stops there as the food was disappointing. Several pork dishes on the menu didn't interest me so at the suggestion of my server I opted for the bourbon burger with fry's. The burger stated that it would be prepared medium well which is how I would have ordered it however it was nothing short of well done. I understand getting a char finish but this was beyond that and very dry. Luckily the bourbon sauce gave it back some flavor. The fry's were left in the oil a little to long as well and then heavily salted. On top of the disappointing food I was informed when I was paying the check that they would be adding a 4% surcharge for using a credit card to pay with. I travel during the week for work so I eat out several times a week and I have never been charged an up charge for paying by credit card.
