Should've known it was a bad sign when I walked in and saw a kid pouring water all over a chair and food scattered on the carpet. Waited 40 minutes after being served drinks and getting our order taken. Finally flagged down the waitress to let her know we were still waiting after watching several tables around have their order taken and be served. When she finally did being us food, it was the wrong order. We decided to leave. When we asked to speak to management about our experience, the owner was conveniently too busy and another staff member came out. She apologized for our experience and told us they were busy. And that they had no control or say over who gets their orders placed and served first. No I do not recommend this place unless you're willing to take a gamble on your meal placement. read more

My family stopped at the Eagle's Nest this morning and we had never been there before. All I can say is that the food tasted phenomenal, the proportions were huge, and the prices were very reasonable, especially for what you get. So if you want a small town restaurant that has big proportions and good quality food at a decent price, this is a place to go. Although a quick warning, they do not accept credit cards. However, they do have an ATM on location and frankly, the food quality is so good that you're not going to care. At this point in time though, I am going to safely say that it is probably my favorite breakfast place in town. read more

This is our go to cheap breakfast diner in town. Staff are friendly and always keeping my coffee full. Looks like they remodeled a little bit recently. Food is your average breakfast food nothing super special but, for the price it's good, fast, and cheap served with a smile. I also enjoy that the tables are not right on top of each other so it does not feel crowded. read more

We ordered chicken Alfredo and chicken strips with fries. The Alfredo was sour - like the dairy was bad or something - and chicken strips were an awful ground and reformed version. Last time we ordered, both of these things were amazing and seemed to be much better quality. When the server came back, I tried to tell her nicely, but she interrupted me to say that's just how it is and I should expect it, then asked if we wanted something else. We said no, because neither of us felt adventurous at that point. Server wanted us to pay for food we couldn't eat (progressively becoming more rude) and when I said something she asked if I wanted to see the owner. Told her yes, so she peeped into the kitchen momentarily then came back. We paid for our tea and left, don't think we'll be back. Live in Denver. This was my favorite breakfast spot before leaving for Colorado. I've eaten here for breakfast at least once each time I've returned to visit. This will probably be my last. Ate here this morning with my family, group of about ten. Food was an extreme disappointment. Everyone's hash browns are undercooked and cold. On e persons omelette was not thoroughly cooked and cheese not melted and eggs were runny. Waitress was very poor. Didn't come back to check on anyone had to yell for her while she was walking past to send food back to Kitchen or to get coffee or drink refills. Unhappy read more

This is a must stop breakfast restaurant! It has been nearly 20 years sense I first time I came here. It has in my opinion the best breakfast. There "Schofield Skillet" is amazing. Eggs, 2cheeses, mushrooms, green peppers, ham, american fries and toast. It's unreal. Plus it's served all day. Staff is always friendly as well. read more

A very underwhelming and frustrating experience for me. We waited for 45 minutes only to be offered the wrong food. We had hope to speak to a manager but was told the owner was too busy to address the issue. I explained to the waitress that we waited 45 minutes and did not receive our food. We also explain that 5 other tables had been seated and and served their food before us. She explained the workers are not able to control the order food is prepared or served to customers. Well what is the point then?!? I would not recommend eating at the Eagles Nest unless you are ok with a lottery system or cooking your own food. read more

We are as a family and the food was good. Filled with locals (a good thing,) and very friendly. We all had breakfast, and the ladies weren't able to finish. Except that one piggy sister who eat as and eats...where does she put it, because she is only is 120lbs...anyway. Great meal and good prices. About $10 a head. I came here with family (group of 6) for brunch. It seems to be the local go-to spot, because the place was absolutely packed. However, I'm not sure if I'd return. Upon arrival we were added to the list with the rest of the herd standing at the front door. Unfortunately there are only a few tables that seat specifically 6 people, so we were at the mercy of those folks. There are a few larger tables that seat 8, but we were told that one of the 6-seaters would be open soon and they wanted to seat larger groups that arrived after us at the larger table. Fine. Except we waited an hour for the 6-person table. Hangry family does not a good meal make. The hostess was nice enough about it, but it just shouldn't have been organized as such. Finally, once we were seated, a server came promptly to take our order. Food was... okay. I mean, I paid $36 for brunch for six, so I wasn't expecting a 5-star meal. My dad's eggs were absolutely charred, but other than that it was fine. Diner food, but nothing more. Not bad, but nothing to rave about. read more

My family ate here after an even at Eastbay Sports Complex. The burgers were generous in size and quite juicy. The breakfast omelettes were quite large with a mound of hash browns. I ordered a gyro. The meat was probably pre packaged. The chicken dumpling soup was delicious. The wait staff brought a second breakfast after my 8 year old daughter spilled water on her dish. This wasn't necessary but totally sealed the excellent service. read more

My go to spot for breakfast, lunch or supper! Two things I highly recommend are the breakfast burrito and the polish sausage breakfast special. Ask to have some onions and cheese put in with your hash browns and you will not be disappointed!! read more

Been going to the Eagles Nest since it was at the old location. New place is about 10 times as big but they managed to keep the same great service. It really doesn't matter what you order as long as it's breakfast --- they know how to do it right 'WIsconsin Style'. This is your typical, friendly, small town WIsconsin diner hang out. When we arrived, it was pretty busy. However, the staff had us seated in 5 min. Our order cam quickly and made to order. I had the Corned Beef Skillet. WOW! There was enough food for 3 people! Great food, great staff! The pancakes are HUGE!! The new location is modern, clean and very inviting.

The food is okay, and the prices are good. Everything was as expected, except the appetizer sampler was super greasy. I think it would have been better to eat breakfast there. The portion sizes are really good. One thing though is make sure you bring cash. They do not take credit cards, and their ATM fee is $2.50! I do not think that is fair, but maybe that is how they keep their prices down by not taking credit cards. read more
