I even know people who order from here once, sometimes twice a week! I may have had super high expectations, which were impossible for Rambles to live up to, but I have to be honest-- it's just not that good. We recently ordered from them while they were at ARS on a Thursday evening-- a margherita pizza with sausage and mushrooms. A little unconventional, but some of the pictures online steered us in that direction. The pizza was ready for pick up at the designated time and the pre--phone ordering was seamless. It took us a little while to get home and find parking, so we decided to heat up our pizzas in the oven to get that fresh pizza effect. However, when we opened the box, the toppings were barely discernible, or at least, not as plentiful as previous Yelp posts had shown them. We shrugged it off and hoped the taste would redeem it. The pizza wasn't bad, but it really wasn't good either. The sauce, from the little I could taste, had amazing flavor-- there just wasn't enough of it. I had the same sentiment with the cheese and the toppings. My friend actually said while eating the pizza, "Oh, I forgot we ordered mushrooms because I can't really see or taste them." The crust was thin, but lacked a chewiness that I want in all my pizzas. I'm usually a 2-slice max person, but honestly, I was STILL hungry after two. It just kinda reinforced the idea that the pizza lacked substance :( My friend and I just about finished the 16" pizza ourselves. Overall, I'm just a little disappointed-- at the hype, quality and apparent inconsistencies.

I live in Kensington - so a good 20 minute drive away from this place but this Pickle Pizza special was worth the effort! My husband called in the order and had no issues picking it up. I will say I had the pizza about 1-2hours after we picked it up (see long day at work). My husband kept it in the oven on warm and it held up well. When I got home I was more than stoked to see him pull this gorgeous large pizza out of the oven. It tasted just as good as it looked! The pickles were fresh and crunchy and the tzatziki sauce with dill was a perfect compliment. The crust was thin and sturdy - like it didn't flop around and wasn't soggy at all. This was some bomb pizza and even though it's far, I'd make the trip for this pizza again. It's just a bonus you can pick up some great beer right next door.

The crust is exactly how I like it. Light and fluffy yet crispy and chewy. The sauce could have been a little bit sweeter but once she added some grated Parmesan cheese to it it did add a little sweetness. The pizza was super hot when we got it. Once it cooled down a little bit you could kind of taste the flavors a little bit better. Overall, very good pie. Would definitely get again.

The booth looks super old school, everything from the menu board to the stacks of pizza boxes. I ordered a slice from the guy at the counter, waited a few minutes and got my slice. It wasn't a huge slice, but it was thick, a bit doughy with lots of sauce. The sauce was the best part of the pizza, there wasn't much cheese. Pretty good snack for $3, probably a good meal for two if you order the half pie for $14.

I was visiting several beaches in NJ, and I figured I'd take the short hop across the state to my old stomping grounds, and well, it was a Saturday afternoon, and I'd been thinking about getting pizza every day since I hit the state line...so I made today the day. This pizza isn't for everybody, but it actually was a hit for my partner. And it hit me right in the nostalgia. Staff was friendly, the counter was clean, and for $14 we got half of a pie and a soda! It was enough for two people for sure. If you like sauce, this is the place for you, as it is on top of the cheese as tomato pies are.

I have had several of the items on the menu including the cheesesteaks and pizza and I have never been disappointed. The prices are very reasonable. The service is always quick and the order is always correct. We order from here quite often as we have not been disappointed. I definitely recommend giving them a shot.

They offer a nice lunch special of 2 cheese slices and a can of soda for $6, but I went with a plain slice (because I always have to order a plain slice when trying a new pizzeria) and a veggie slice with spinach, broccoli and tomato. Both slices were good but the veggie slice was the star of the show! Perfectly crisp, packed with veggies and a nice balance of cheese. The customer service was also wonderful and the staff seems to just be friendly overall. I will definitely stop in again or grab their pizza via To Good To Go.
