His chair was empty, I thought hey let me blow some money and get a couple of touch ups done real quick. If he does a good job with the touch ups we can go back to him and get the bigger stuff done, my husband excitedly agreed, let's do this!! NOPE!! Not only did we get the California face of judgmental disgust like I had asked him to kill a small child, his response is, "Oh, you would have to come to the shop for something like that." Something like what?! A 10 minute quick job that I was willing to pay $200 for?! Touch up for two small hearts? I was paying for convenience and hoping to find a new tattoo guy. Way to be a boner killer on something we were excited about. I guess he wanted to have something cooler, more hard core to come sit in his chair that day, maybe a $1000 tattoo would have had him interested. It didn't matter that we could be long term customers who would spend $1000 on tats... nope... he wanted something bigger and better that day. I hope he got it! Thankfully we were able to find another guy who was happy to take our money from a different tat shop. Here's some business sense... If you choose to not take care of people with the small things, they won't trust you for the big things.
